Finding hair, nails, lash people are hard enough but even harder when you're new in town and you moved here during height of pandemic. So the first year I just read a lot of reviews and made mental notes of places that seemed busy as I drove by. Also I didn't know down here it's called SNS. In Chicago it was called Dipped. But I digress... I tried a few random places because I have a toddler and never plan in advance for me time. No horrible experiences but not good enough for me to leave a review. I did have Serene bookmarked, but each time I called they had a wait and I couldn't be bothered. Dang I should have just waited! I finally went and did my nails with Shayla. She's the BEST. It's been 2 weeks and I still admire my nails. How they do look so good. I've gotten tons of compliments on them too! I need nude nails for work and this was perfection. Got a tropical pedicure that included callus treatment, she didn't do it. Completely missed the back of my heal and I fixed it at home. Paint on my toes was sloppy and had already come off by day four. Mani left me with more to trim and it looks like I never ever had a mani. Massage lasted a whole min and thirty seconds. My toe nails are uneven and look a mess. Maybe they should spend more money on training and education than making the place look so fancy. It's like putting lipstick on a pig. And now I'm wearing a pig on my toes and finger. Absolutely avoid this place. They probably don't sanitize properly as the use those wasteful bags to cover the pedi bowl instead of properly cleaning it. Wish I could get my $75 back.
