What made the experience especially uncomfortable was that I was the only person of color there, and I couldn't help but feel that I was being treated differently because of my race. If the salon was truly closing early, that should have been communicated respectfully and consistently to everyone--not handled in a way that leaves a customer feeling singled out. I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I believe every customer deserves to be treated with the same courtesy and professionalism, regardless of their race or background. So I called them questioning the charge the lady said that when you get a polish and trim they charge but if you get a S&S they don't I was confused because I got a S &S and the receipt says add shape. I told her I got a S & S she said Oh! She asked that I hold on to ask someone else, she comes back saying that because I got my nails trim there's a up charge. I called several nails salons and the only time they charge is if you change the style. Beware check your receipt before leaving.
