Always pleased, refreshed, and looking good! SNS can turn out horrible, feel and/or look gross and chunky. I need it for my nails because I am so rough in them, and my nails have always been very thin. But here they take the time and care to do your nails right. When we left, my daughter was in tears because of how bad her nails looked. In hindsight, I should've refused to pay $70 for such poor work. After we left, I took her to another nail salon who fixed them up nicely. My daughter is very sweet and well-behaved. There was no reason to be rude to a child. If you don't like working with people, then don't have a job where you work with people. We will never visit this salon again and I encourage everyone else to do the same.

Anita serviced my husband. She arrived first. She gave him an armrest, along with warm water to soak his nails. My nail technician was Mia. Her quality of service was not the same. I did not receive an armrest nor a greeting, and my water was cold. She wasn't the friendliest either. I could tell the level of attention and detail that Anita provided for my husband was totally different from what I was receiving. However, my husband wished the buff on his nails was a bit brighter. It was dull and didn't really show a major difference. We also did not get a chance to select our manicure preference, as we were told the nail technicians would provide this information to us. Since it was a Friday and we were walk-ins, we plan to try them again on a different day and make reservations to see if the service will be better.

Only got SNS on my nails. I love that they soak each individual nail in wrapped foil to take off old SNS polish. I prefer this method vs. putting my whole hand in a sandwich bag, rubbing my nails on a paper cloth and smelling all those fumes. 5 stars already just for the polish removal process. Good selection of colors. I'm super basic and always get some shade of pink. Lots of pinks to choose from. Liked that the nail tech didn't really talk to me until she was finished as I was watching a show on my phone. Nail tech did a really good job on cutting and shaping my nails. She also didn't grind them down so that they feel weak. Love the clean, neat look. A little pricey - $50 + I added a tip. But she did a really good job and I am quite pleased. A technician started on me right away. I needed my old SNS removed, and wanted new SNS. I do wish there were a larger selection of SNS colors, particularly more light shades, but nonetheless I found a color I was really pleased with. The technician took her time removing my old SNS. They use the individual foil wrap method versus the dunking your entire hand in acetone method; I was pleased with that. The nail tech took her time on all aspects of the SNS application and gave me a fabulous manicure as well. The hand/arm massage was amazing. The atmosphere is really nice. I was offered a beverage upon sitting down. I asked for water, but they do have wine should you feel so inclined. They have chandeliers which give it a fancy ambiance, and there are a good number of spa pedicure chairs. Probably the most I've seen in a salon. All in all it was a great experience, and I plan on returning when I need another new SNS set in addition to trying a pedicure. Thank you for a great first experience. I look forward to more!

What an experience I had at Main Street Nail Studio! I was in Atlanta for the Thanksgiving holiday…read morevisiting my husband's family, a few days before we were to go to friend's wedding in Mexico. I asked my mother-in-law if she knew a good spot for a mani/pedi I could get before the wedding. She said, "Oh I know JUST the place." Immediately when I walked in, I knew I was not in a "typical" nail salon. Main Street Nail Studio feels more like a relaxed wellness center with the vibes of a cozy café. It is spacious, warm, and comforting. Such a welcomed contrast from other salons where it can feel like a crowded factory line of sardine-packed rows of chairs. Here, I felt like I was resting in an easy chair in the corner of my own living room. Joslyn did both my pedicure and manicure. She is a pro. I asked for a light pink- but not too pink, and she pulled four different options to try. Throughout the pedicure, she told me exactly what was in each of the scrubs and explained why each treatment was being used. She spent extra time working around every corner of my toes and feet. My feet are so soft now- my toes feel like tiny pillows and my heels like they are covered in satin. The manicure was just as thorough- Joslyn worked with care on shaping my nails beautifully and painted three coats of polish with precision. I've never had a pedicure or manicure done with such attention to detail, and I've certainly never had one that looks this good a few days later. She is a true artist! Throughout the whole treatment, I enjoyed talked with Joslyn about her experiences as a woman, a mother, a teacher, a community builder, and a creative. I realize that "doing nails" is just one thing that she does- but seeing the way she does that, I know Joslyn would have glowing Yelp reviews for the rest of it, too. All in all, Marlene, Joslyn, and everyone else at Main Street Nail Studio have created a lovely, one of a kind salon environment. In a world of conveyer belt nail salons, this one is a shining gem.
