I'm coming back after submitting a bad review. After the first incident I just posted ... I was sitting in my truck and a manager came out. She apologized for the interaction between the hostess and I. She corrected some misinformation that the host received and restated what their process was and offered a discount. I'm a huge customer service fan. When a manager takes the time to address an issue with, compassion, respect and care it soothes the escalated situation and it made me see the value in the service and quality of the work. They get a 10 for customer service and a10 for the quality of wok. This is the best I have ever had. I even tipped and Im on a budget. My nails are beautiful. $$$ Worth. read more

Very disappointed with the service here, I went to get my nails done about four days ago and got a design in some of my nails, but it was fading because they didn't put nail polish on the top or anything to cover it and I wasn't gonna go back only because of that but one of my nails got broke so I went back to also get the nail fixed. Another person helped me and this guy was literally running to get my nails done. I guess he was really busy. He use another color for the nail that got broke and I told him I didn't like it because the color was different and you could tell the difference so he used another nail polish on the top (which made my nails more thick) to match the color and didn't shape the nails after that or anything. I was so excited the first time I went here, but it's been downhill since then. I've had to go back and have rhinestones re-applied twice within a few days of getting them done. Nails have also broken twice now within a week. I don't mind paying more for great service, but they are too expensive for this sub-par quality. Also, the top technicians (which I would happily pay extra for) are never available for appointments and aren't even taking new clients. I'm not thrilled with their hygiene practices either. (Don't wash their hands or sanitize tools between clients.) Oh well.... Thought I had found a new salon, but I won't be going back. read more

The space is very nice and there are plenty of technicians and they offer a wide variety of services. The welcome is pleasant and staff were timely for my services. The issue is that I've been getting powder dip for a few years at my go to salon and I've never had a breakage until I had it soaked off. At the nail lab they didn't dip into the powder as many times and my nails were significantly thinner, which at first I thought was fantastic. I've had 2 nails break within 48 hours of my service and I'm extremely disappointed and those nails are now gagged and I have a business trip to travel to. I will be going back to my typical salon even though it isn't nearly as "posh" and they tend to always run late. read more

Second time going to this location, not the greatest visit this time. Nail tech chipped 4 of my nails then tried to deny she did it. I asked for a design, stated she couldnt do it because my nails weren't long enough. Went with a back up idea, not what I wanted but I had no choice. While cleaning my cuticles, nail tech cut my finger. Not sure if she was in a rush or what, but it was a sloppy job. Went to the register she gave the cashier a paper with the charge for my service $67. The cashier tells me the price looks at my nails and because of a design charged me $92?? For that price I should've got acrylic again. Lesson learned never again. read more

I've been coming to the nail lab since November 2023. I enjoy the pedicures, my nails and the overall service and atmosphere. I had my first truly negative experience yesterday, and unfortunately it was for my brows. Towards the end of my nail service I asked if anyone was available to do eyebrows that day and I was told yes. However, I noticed that when they tried to find someone to do my brows, there was a lot of back and forth conversation about who was going to do them. They finally found someone to do them but she seemed a little nervous. I asked her if she was comfortable doing them and she said yes. Unfortunately, this was not the case and it was very clear when she was providing the service. She was so sweet and nice but I told her I only wanted my brows cleaned up and she waxed off most of my brows. It was so bad that when I left out, the girl who worked at the front desk covered her mouth and said "Omg, she waxed off half of your brow!" When I said yes, she proceeded to bust out laughing and walk away. Which for one, was incredibly unprofessional. I was already upset about my brows and that only added insult to injury. When I got in my car, I took a closer look and called the salon and let them know I was not satisfied but I did not want to make a scene or make the lady who did them feel bad or embarrassed. I also told them that I come there quite often for my nails and while I understand that they want to make as much money as possible and provide clients with the services they asked for, they should not have people who are clearly uncomfortable providing services, provide such services. They offered me a gift card for the price of the brows but I will never get my brows done there again. I will continue to get my nails and feet done though. I read more

For a "Luxury" nail salon, this place is a joke. I made an appointment for 2 pedicures on Sunday at 1:30. Arrived right on time, and was told it would be just a few minutes until we were seated. It was not a few minutes, it was 30 minutes. It is infuriating when service providers hold customers to a high standard and threatens cancellation fees or appointments being canceled if the customer is late, but if the business makes them wait 30 minutes that's fine. My pedicure took 30 minutes to complete, so it quite literally doubled my time in the salon. The pedicure itself was rushed, and haphazard. The manicurist said maybe 3 words the whole time, didn't say hello or offer any food or water (as they are supposed to do). Even when she needed me to move my feet, she didn't use any words she would just manhandle my legs. I paid $15 for "extra 10 minutes massage", but only received 10 minutes TOTAL. My friend who was sitting next to me even texted me at one point asking if she was even rubbing my legs because there was no massaging happening, she just rubbed in the lotion and called it a day. To top it off, as soon as I got home I noticed that the polish application was streaky and translucent in multiple spots, so now I have to go somewhere else to have it fixed before our big event this weekend. As someone who rarely indulges in myself like this, I am extremely disappointed that this is the service we received for $65. Dont fall for the tiktoks they make showcasing their salon, they care more about creating that marketing than actually providing decent services. read more

I am giving 3 stars because they do have several extremely talented nail technicians that do work like I've never seen. The establishment is also very nicely appointed. However, beyond that, I can no longer recommend this location - which is a shame because I have been coming here long before the new owners took over, and have been a loyal regular, referring multiple people since the new owners took over. All of that being said, I've been routinely disappointed in the rapidly declining customer service, sub par pedicures and generally not living up to what they advertise. Be prepared to wait, even if you have an appointment, and due to the busy and over booked schedules, you can also prepare to be rushed through your service. read more

It's become apparent the new owner is more forced on the appearance of the salon and completely let everything else go. This being the second chance I have given them, after receiving a message from the owner after my first review who offered an explanation for the under staffing "mix-up" which caused me to post my review a few weeks ago. And today, same problem occurred- I even called ahead and made an appointment for 10:15 and arrived to 3 technicians doing nails and 1 technician doing a pedicure and was informed everyone was busy and it's going to be a wait. I waited until 10:40 and asked how much long and was told "it's still going to be a while" and that's when my timer ran out - I had pickup at noon and now it would be cutting it too close. This location is absolutely beautiful, everyone in there was so kind and talented. I got a full set with nail design and the design was absolutely stunning, my nail artist was very talented and kind.. however, within three days of getting my nails done they all started popping off. I wasnt rough on my hands at all, so this was shocking. This was really disappointing considering I paid upwards of 100 bucks for my vacation nails and absolutely loved the design. Loved the place, loved the vibe, loved the talent of the nail artists, but wish my nails would have lasted me more than 3 days. read more

After three months of going to this beautiful new shop, and visiting over 5 times, referring 6 of my friends and bringing three of my family members. Sadly, I must update my previous 5 star rating to a measly one star. I wont't delete my initial review because it was honest, but this one is too. The quality of their work is still top notch, the ambiance is amazing, but the customer service is lackluster. I visited on June 2nd for a fill-in. After receiving my services I was charged $146 (for a fill-in) I've been getting my nails done at luxury salons for over 20 years, I've never spent $150 on a fill-in. Maybe a full set, but certainly not a fill in. I wasn't upset, I politely paid and THEN asked if the price was correct. Simply asking if the price was correct offended my technician and as a result she decided not to service me in the future. The reason I questioned the price, is bc this same technician quoted me $135 for a very SIMILAR design that was a full set. So naturally, one would expect a fill-in price to be significantly lower. I am attaching pictures of our conversation for proof because I know this shop will respond and likely deny the exchange. My pictures will also include the initial quote of $135 for a full set. The technician would later tell me that their fill-in price was higher because she was filling in over someone else's work and had to reshape it. Even w/ a reshape (that I didn't ask for) the fill in price should not exceed the cost of a full set. Coincidentally, on that very same day I witnessed one of their associates mistreat another customer and after she left I discreetly mentioned to the associate that she could have been a tad bit more respectful. I'm not surprised that the client later went home and gave them a 1 star review (as I told them she likely would, but of course she told me she didn't care). You can't deny their talent, but this is unfortunately what happens at a lot of shops like this. Three months ago they were begging for 5 star reviews, and now that they have it.... they're starting to lose interest in treating their clients kindly. Thankfully we live in an area where there are SEVERAL other talented technicians to chose from. This place has amazing potential, and I hope they won't continue to loose clientele because of their lack of good customer service. The venue is stunning, well-decorated, and features a nice bar. The ambiance is plush and comfortable. The lady at the front desk when I walked in was not very nice and welcoming, but I decided to stay anyway because the place looked beautiful. The quality of the nail service was disappointing. I asked for almond-shaped nails, but they came out round. Even after I asked them to fix it, the shape still looked off. I didn't want to give the man that did them a hard time because I could tell he is new to doing nails. I initially asked for French tips. Once you did the first one, it looked off, so I just asked for him to paint them solid white. The paint job was also poorly done, and it looked like I could have done it myself. I was in this establishment today (been only twice before within a year my nail place is closed today) even though the quality of work here is mediocre. They have a nice bar set up and I have had a mimosa on one occasion and a margarita on another, drinks are free when being serviced. Today I had a mimosa and when checking out I was told that I was being charged 6.00 for the mimosa which I questioned, I wasn't charged before? I was told that not being charged before was a mistake and I was lucky. I got free drinks. I asked, "do you have a liquor license to charge for liquor and wine?" I was told yes. I paid and called back to speak with the owner Andy Ho, who is now begging to Zelle me back the 6.00 "Service fee" (Really??) charged for the person who made me the drink and the 8.00 tip. My response You are charging for liquor sir and claiming to have a liquor license. I will be reporting this violation to the city of Raleigh and Wake County, keep the money I rather report you, hope 6.00 was worth it. You picked the wrong Sista female to pimp today sir. I will never walk in this place again for these mediocre sad looking nails and I pray they are investigated by the city for selling alcohol to make extra money off unknowing clients. read more

I have no complaints about my nails whatsoever. Khloe does a wonderful job on my nails. Unfortunately, while getting a pedicure from another employee however I was burned pretty badly by the paraffin wax so much so that the owner advised that I did not need to pay for my pedicure. I felt bad and still decided to tip the employer as she still did work on me. Well, fast forward, I was contacted by Khloe advising that she will no longer be doing my nails as a result of what transpired. Pleas be mindful that I spend no less that $150.00 each time that I go and have sent many referrals. I have never experienced anything like this and all future appts were cancelled prior to any conversation. I've been here a few times, and I have only left one time completely satisfied. This past Saturday I went and I got a feeling done. The original set was done here I went and got a feeling elsewhere being that I wasn't too satisfied. Upon returning my mail lady wasn't available. I got a feeling with them and the very next day I had to come back to get three nails fixed. When I go in the receptionist attempts to tell me that they can't fix my nails because I didn't have my last set done here, but I had two completely broken nails that were fixed, and those were the nails that were already lifted less than 24 hours. The lady who did my nails was apologetic about the mess up. When I was leaving, I told everyone to have a good night and the only one who had the decency to say it back was the person who had to fix my nails. The receptionist looked at me and rolled her eyes. This isnt the first time I've seen bad customer service with attitude that doesn't belong in the workplace. It has been four days and I have an additional nail lift which is going to be the same nail that was completely replaced by them. So I would not feed into the best product or the best artist language. they have decent customer service but when it comes to fixing their mistakes, not do much. Also the pedicures are mediocre at best. You get home and still give yourself a mini pedi to finish. Quite literally one of the most disappointed experiences that I've had for such a beautiful place with so much potential. And my last thing to know is that the same woman who got her nails done beside me that Saturday came back in on Sunday to also get multiple nails fixed. read more
