Christina was fast but detailed and I'll be visiting her again. Previous places were sloppy and didn't pay attention to details. Christina's work is beautiful. Update; I broke a nail (totally my own clumsiness) and received stellar service again and the tech was able to repair my own nail and it looks perfect compared to rest of my hand. I called to make an appointment at 4:00pm with my friend to get dip powder. When we arrived, we were asked to wait. The inside looks very nice and clean. My friend got started at 4:30. I waited until 4:38 and we didn't get to sit next to each other so that was a bummer. I wanted a white color & the one she gave me was (I believe) called "Sunday Funday." It has an iridescent look to it. I asked my technician for the "natural nail look" which I thought was round. She made my nails square and I asked to round them. So excited to find a really nice nail salon near my house. Nail garden has a great abiance, great customer service and offer excellent work. My boyfriend surprised me with a quick manicure and it was just that QUICK. They took me as soon as I walked in. I love this! Most places make you wait forever and they were fully staffed with plenty of chairs and lots of colors to choose from. My nail manicurist was so sweet and she did a wonderful job. She even massaged my hand and asked me how I like my nails which I appreciate. I hate when they just chop your length. The decor here is very simple and clean but with a home like touch. I like that my chair was nicer than most chairs when getting your nails done. Overall I'm very happy with this place and I look forward to coming back. My only default that doesn't change my review stars is that they could offer more deals. I would come more often if they offered some type of set deal like most places. Their prices are pretty standard. However with excellent work comes standard prices. read more

Let me start by saying terrible terrible service The elderly Lady cut my toenail way too short compared to the other one very uneven nail polish everywhere and she kept trying to prize me because she had to fix it. Ask for a discount she Act like she didn't understand what I was saying almost didn't even pay super upset going on vacation in two days and have to go with uneven tolls in disaster of nail polish. I went in for a pedicure and fill set and they decided that after my daughter and I waited for over and hour they could only do my pedicure because it was too late. Weird plastic pans inside of foot basins. Nails take way too long to get done here. Worst part was I got all black nails and wanted THE MOST BASIC design on my two ring fingers. I'll post a picture of what I asked for and was told by the older guy doing my nails "oh, yeah, no... we can't do that!" I was so pissed off that I just replied "okay" so I could get out of there ASAP!! He just didn't want to do the work in my opinion. Thus place doesn't deserve 1 star. Worst nail salon and customer service ever. It took them 2.5 hours to complete a full set acrylic. They also did a bait and switch on price. They originally told me my nails would be $40. Then once i was almost done it changed to $50. The owner says "the girl that told you was wrong & didn't know?" Their owner is rude and yells at her customers. They use an old fashioned liquid acrylic that chips. When you tell them they say "you should have done the powder." However they don't have very many powder colors. The tech was inexperienced and it took her 30+ minutes just to relive 2 nails. I begged them to let me take them off and they finally let me. I only tried this salon as my normal nail tech was booked and I needed my nails done that evening. It was a Friday night and i booked appt an hour before as I workout nearby. There was hardly anyone in salon but staff sitting around. I always wondered why I never see hardly anyone in the salon... now i know. I wish I would have looked at reviews before I went. Save your time and money and go somewhere else. I will never walk into this salon again. They should be out of biz. They are living off of all the new people who are coming to the Lake Nona area. Eventually their terrible rude service will catch up with them. My nails broke within a couple days and I did not even think about having them fix them. On top of that, the man was so rude that I couldn't even tell him I was not happy with my nails which is why I decided to write a review instead. Nice, full service nail shop in the Lake Nona area featuring 12 deluxe pedicure chairs and 16 nail stations. A cute addition are 2 child sized pedicure chairs shaped like pink butterflies. I've had 2 pedicures done over the past month and have been impressed by the service and hospitality each time. A nice touch was a beverage being offered as I was seated. Also impressive was the cleanliness of the shop. All instruments used come out in a sterilized packet and a disposable foot tub liner is used. I also tried the eyebrow waxing and was impressed with her perfectionism. Dermabrasion services were a bit of a hard sell, but done in a more informational way and my "not interested" was met with grace. One major positive is the lack of typical nail salon "smell". Both times I visited there was no acrid smell, just clean & fresh air. Love it! Credit cards are accepted for services, but tips are cash only. Nail Garden is my go to salon for a mani, pedi or wax. It's the only nail salon I know of that puts a new, clean liner in the foot tub for each client. I love that because no worries about fungus or bacteria from the previous client. Nancy and Kim are the only 2 people I will let touch my brows! When I moved to Orlando in January 2012, I went without a wax until I tried the Nail Garden in July. They take great care in making sure I'm relaxed and my brows look perfect. I love the added touch of fresh, cool aloe after my wax. It reduces the redness and I don't get break outs. I was thrilled when they opened in Lake Nona. I've tried a couple of the other nail salons that have opened in the area but I'm a loyal customer of the Nail Garden because of the service and the great job they do. read more

I've been going to Nail Garden for years, and have always been extremely happy! I often take my daughter, age 9, and she loves going in for the butterfly chair (now she's "upgraded" to the regular one), and getting her nails and toes painted always with a fun design. The salon is extremely clean, and nail technicians are so friendly and take their time with you. I never feel rushed. I'm seen quickly, and feel so welcomed there. Great prices, and I've only need a touch up on my toes for smudging (my fault) 2 weeks after my pedicure and I went in and they repainted/touched up for free. Excellent customer service! I also go every other week for my eyebrows and Nancy is THE BEST at shaping eyebrows. I will not go to anyone else! She's amazing, takes her time, and I've gotten so many compliments on the shape of my brows since I started seeing her. I was here yesterday to get my nails done for my graduation. I got a full set done and the guy literally cut every single one of my fingers with the nail file. He also did not put the acrylic even close to my nail bed like I got it done yesterday and it looks like I got it done last week. Then proceeded to paint my toe nails horribly during the pedicure. Like you can see a clear demarcation line where he missed parts of the nail during the second coat. The staff there was also incredibly rude. I went there with my friends and during one of my friends full set they owner asked her to get up and start her pedicure with unfinished nails because one of her regulars walked in without an appointment and she wanted to do that other ladies nails even though we made an appointment and she was already in the process of doing my friends nails. As we continue to age, experiences become more important. This is why I am very disappointed about the treatment that we recieved today on my husbands birthday. To celebrate my husband; I chose to pamper him with a pedicure. However, after we were seated and began to soak, the carefree feeling of pampering ourselves quickly left our bodies. The technician asked us which pedicure service we would like to receive. I asked for the basic and, began to discuss the options with my husband. In the midst of our discussion, we were rudely interrupted by his technician saying, " you get basic I have to go." With more than an hour before closing we asked for a different technician which was refused. Absolutely DO NOT recommend. They have zero regard for their customers time. I walked in at 5:00 today, expecting a wait, and was told it would be a 30 min wait for pedicure and dip manicure. An hour later, I was sat in the pedicure chair, where I sat for another 30 min before a technician finally started helping me. When I sat down for my manicure and reminded the tech that it was a dip manicure, I was told she couldn't do it and I would have to wait another 30-45 min. At this point, I had already been there for over 2 hours, and given how incorrect the first estimate was, I said I couldn't wait that long. The only other option they gave was coming back tomorrow, which wasn't an option for me. This isn't an isolated incident. It seems 30 min is the estimate they give everyone even if they know it will take longer, and the times I have had an appointment, they still go by who comes into the shop first, regardless of appointment. I've kept going back because I like their work and it's convenient to where I live, but their blatant disregard for my time and how unapologetic they are about it hit a new low. read more

We were hoping for a memorable day for my young niece and we definitely got that -- the rudeness and incompetence of our technicians was unparalleled. To start, her technician left her sitting in cold water to take a 15 minute phone call. Her grandma finally stepped in and asked for someone to take care of her and the manager laughed in her face and said, "relax, be happy, be calm." His explanation? Family emergency (as the technician laughed and chatted into the phone.) This attitude was prevalent in every staff member we interacted with -- laughing off their blatant mistakes (filing carelessly enough to leave cuts, sloppy polish, terribly crooked filing) and blaming us. My niece's technician wouldn't let her answer us when we tried to talk to her, so she sat there on her special day sitting like a stone, too afraid to move. Abysmal service by very inexperienced and sloppy staff. Stay away. (Also, it's not like you're even getting a good deal for this -- STAY AWAY!) read more
