Great salon! I was visiting the area and broke my nail very badly. Nail Factory was able to squeeze me in on a busy Sunday (~10 minute wait) and the nail tech did a great job repairing my nail. The manicure was also very neat and she asked if I'd like a third coat of the sheer polish that I had selected, which I really appreciated. I also had a 10 minute massage and it was super relaxing. This was my first visit to Nail Factory and I had an amazing experience. All staff were very welcoming and I received a great massage while getting my nails done. I wanted a purple cloud design and showed Louise my inspiration picture. She absolutely NAILED IT! She put so much work into making sure it looked exactly like the picture and I was super impressed by her skill. She also was able to get the stiletto shape down. Took my mom in law here for a mani-pedi session for her birthday in October. Very easy to make an appointment. Staff was great and masked up! Everything was sanitized and up to COVID protection protocol. Follow their instagram page @westportnailfactory for some inspiration. Nail tech was awful- she was rough, cut my nails so short they are sensitive, I asked her not to cut cuticles & she started to. I decided halfway through to not get mail art... partially because she cut my nails so short that there was no nail to put art on. before going there, I had made sure to check prices for nails. On the website, for the specific nails I got (gel extensions), it stated that they would be 65 dollars. Since I wanted these nails with a french design, I expected to be charged around 10-15 dollars more. When I arrived, while I did not catch the name of the lady doing my nails, she was extremley gentle and efficient, as well as kind when doing my nails; however the lady who i assume is the manager doing my friends nails was a bit rude to me. Anyways, I go to the front to pay expecting to be charged 75-80 dollars, when instead after tax and additional charges i was billed 110. This was an issue because it had not specified that on the website and being a teenager, i dont have a steady income and I had planned in advanced how my paycheck would be spent but because of these nails, I didnt have anything left on my card for the rest of the month and I had just gotten payed a few days before. Of course, I ended up paying because I wasn't going to just not even though I was very shocked, but what I absolutely did not appreciate was being forced and followed into paying a tip from the lady i mentioned earlier, who didnt even do my nails. She kept asking me about a tip which under normal circumstances I would do without asking but because I had gotten charged so much more than I had planned for, I wasn't even positive how much money was left on my card. I ended up tipping 5 dollars because it was all I could pay, and the lady proceeded to follow me outside the establishment confirming that I was paying a TIP, not the actual bill which was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. At least I know the tip went to my nail tech which was very nice, and if i had had more money i would have tipped alot more, but I just thought the whole situation had an odd vibe. read more

Finally The Nail Factory is back in town. What a pleasure to see Amber and Michelle again. Greatest pedicure in town and my hands feel human again. My husband had the callous removal and I think he took off 10 pounds. His feet are as smooth as a baby's. They are so kind and calm you feel like you've spent the day at a spa instead of just a 1 hour treatment. They do amazingly detailed nail art and my daughter even talked me into trying one. I don't have enough good things to say about Nail Factory. I'm from out of state and finding a new place to go for my nails has always been both a challenge and a bit nerve-wracking. I'm a creature of habit, so breaking my routine and finding someone new isn't easy. After tons of research I stumbled across Nail Factory. I was instantly drawn to their gorgeous artwork on their Instagram page. I booked an appointment for a gel manicure. Upon my arrival, I was immediately sat after my temperature was taken and I was given hand sanitizer. I made the mistake of booking a simple gel manicure instead of a gel fill, but the techs were gracious and had no problem adjusting to my mistake. I wish I would've gotten the tech's name that did my nails. She was so thorough and detail oriented. She shaped my nails three or four times. I was so pleasantly surprised with a hand massage and hot towel at the end of my manicure. I can't wait to book again in a few weeks. Coming from California, it's been pretty difficult to find a nail salon that I like, that meets my needs. So far Nail Factory has come the closest. The work stations were clean, and it was fairly relaxing. I was a walk-in, but I can tell they really value appointments, so I will probably make one next time. I got an SNS manicure and a regular pedicure. One week later, my fingers still look great. My pedicure has chipped a little, which is disappointing. They also offered me bottled water, juice, or sparkling water. The pedicure area is separate from the manicure section, so you can relax in there. I paid $65 plus a tax since I paid with my card. You don't have to pay tax if you pay in cash or venom, which I don't have. My one small complaint is that it felt a tad rushed, but overall good experience. read more

I have been to this wonderful nail salon a number of times since it opened recently and I am so happy that they are here in town. They offer a number of spa nail services (heavenly spa pedicures!) and special manicure polish finishes that I have only seen in NYC salons. Yes, they have gel and powder but they also offer Chrome, ombre and a selection very intricate nail designs--think Instagram nail art that you've seen, they have it here. The staff is very kind, friendly and hardworking. This place is also sparkling clean. I definitely recommend this place. It's not a "scene" (yet!) but it's sure to be one very soon. I moved to Fairfield about 3 years ago now and I swear I've been to at least 12 nail salons trying to find the consistency, quality and friendliness that I experienced back in New Haven. Nail Factory is the BEST! I am always thrilled with my SNS dip (lasts forever - perfectly shaped nails) and their spa pedicures are amazing.
