The massage was wonderful, very relaxing, but also she did a great job on my very tight neck and shoulders. They have an amazing array of colors to choose from for your manicure, I have fallen in love with "throw me a kiss". All of the staff were incredibly sweet, and extremely accommodating, even offering to buckle my car seatbelt, so my nails weren't damaged!!!! Truly above and beyond Service. I've been going to Nail. com for several years now and their service is always consistent. Their staff is friendly and my nails always look amazing. Overall my experiences have always been pleasant. I use regular polish for my pedicures and they always have the new OPI collections which is so nice! I love choosing new colors and having different options is always needed. We just moved to the neighborhood, and I was excited to try this nail salon. I arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment. No one greeted me or asked if I had an appointment, but I did not worry about that since the 4 techs were in the middle of working. So I started checking out their selection of polishes; most of them were old, thick and separating. Not a good sign. Ten minutes after my appointment time, none of the techs were close to finishing (other than one who took another client who had been waiting for 20 minutes). I also saw that the shop was not very clean, so I decided to leave. Waste of time, and it was too late in the day for me to get an appointment at another salon. This is the first and only place I've ever been that can shape my nails the way I like them. Not square, not rounded, not soft square - I just like them to follow the natural curve of my moons. Today I went in to get a no chip in preparation for a mini vacation and they did a perfect job altogether - shaping and everything. The salon is also very pretty and well appointed. Stumbled upon this place on Yelp as I was looking for a new spot a bit closer to home, and was not disappointed. I called ahead and they were able to take me immediately (but appeared to be very busy & people were constantly calling so would definitely recommend an appointment if you cant). Went here today and don't think I'll be back. It was super hot when we walked in like there was no air or ventilation. The biggest thing is that it was so rushed that I didn't feel relaxed at all. Spent 4 hours for a gel set. Was told it was $65 for mani/pedi with gel. Was charged $95 Wednesday special is $35 for mani/pedi but was charged another $60 to add gellish!!! What a joke.:: I was told I pay for the city and that there are million dollar homes in the area! Then I should have received a killer million dollar manicure! Then when I left my nails were filled with bubbles. Had to go back to have my nails redone. Gee rocked it out!!! Wish I would have had her from the start.... but she even was shocked at the poor manicure I recoefe Now... my skin is cracked and peeling from the 2 hours of acetone soaking... not to mention the deep slice on the side of my toe that is hot to the touch and very sensitive... Small typical nail salon appears clean but the small details not so much. For nails, they take their time as for some pedicures are a quick in and out. For a 60 dollar pedicure I'm in and out in 30 mins. My sugar scrub was a light service that lasted 17 seconds exactly. Was shocked after the first leg thinking I could be wrong, so I timed it and sure enough not even a whole minute. Not sure if they were booked all day and we were squeezed in as I came in with a friend or what. Being in the industry I wished for better quality based on the reviews given here. As for leaving for 3 stars aside from service lacking, the employees were attentive and kind, their selections of color is vast, was not overly crowd, and had a relaxing atmosphere. Also, their chairs are great. Paint job is precise, and seems that it will last a bit well over 3 weeks. They do not offer dip/sns here. read more

A 4-week old gel manicure that needed removing, feet that had beat the streets of Berlin for a month...time for some pampering. And lo and behold, open at 9AM on Saturday to satisfy my jet lagged schedule. Normally, I do not know what 9am looks like on a weekend...but, hey...if you do, they are open! And, conveniently located next to a Starbucks. I grabbed a half-sugar pumpkin spice latte and a water and set myself up pretty at Nail.com. How American am I!? AMERICAN. Indeed. The staff was just as friendly and efficient as my first visit. There was only a few other clients in the store so I got full attention. It's sparkly clean, and they throw in some extras that others forget, ie; short shoulder massage while you dry, really help you get all your stuff to get out the door without smudging, etc. *they didn't even charge me for removing my gel manicure (much more work). *extra tip for them! *do not accept AMEX. *tips can go on credit cards, but I'm sure they'd prefer cash. *$45 for mani/pedi combo. I've been coming here for four years and even though there is a nail salon just across the street from me (which I've gone to multiple times) this is the place I go to. I usually get no-chip manicures and regular pedicures. My no-chip usually lasts about 2 weeks and pedicures last almost a month. One of my best friends lives in University Village and she drives up here to get her nails done. Their recent upgrade has been fabulous and their services has always been great. They lost my appointment for a mani/pedi, and instead of just saying they didn't have time, they rushed my mani. She spent maybe 12 min on it and barely bothered filing my nails/cleaning up the cuticles. After such a terrible mani, I didn't stay for the pedi. Came here because my usual go to had no openings. I liked the salon and the job they did, other than that it was a tad warm in there but really not an issue. Problem was I ended up with an infection! After walking past my "regular" nail salon and seeing 3 women waiting, I kept walking to my next choice, where I was flat out refused service because they were supposedly booked through closing. Soooo, I hopped on the Diversey bus toward home and decided to come to nail.com, where I had been several months prior and remembered a good experience. Enter: Nadia. She is SUCH a sweet woman that does excellent work, and she also understands the balance between nail salon chit chat and offering times of silent enjoyment/pampering. She really took her time and did an excellent job of prepping my nails, still maintaining their shape and measly length, and she was also very detailed in the polish application. I came here based upon the other yelp reviews and was a bit taken back with how not 5 stars this place was...I just moved into the area so happy to find such a highly rated nail salon. Nope, sigh.... It was as if it was training day here. I made an appointment for a mani/pedi (though a walk in won't be an issue). Next store to a Starbucks - score, easy street parking - double score, below average pedicure (seriously, worst pedicure I've had) they don't even polish the tip...really? Then another lady did my manicure - again, below average. The polish job was not well done, it was as if it may have been her first day or something...dirt left in nails, the weakest/limp massage ever...worse than a limp handshake - ick. I recently discovered this nail salon and I will be back! I went at 5pm on a Sunday for a mani pedi. My pedi was started by a really nice gentleman. I have never had such a fabulous foot massage at a nail salon EVER. He took his time and really cleaned my feet up nicely. When it came time for polish- a woman who I assume was one of the managers took over. She did a beautiful job! At this point it was about 5:45pm and they were closing at 6... The woman took her time on my hands- gave me a great hand massage and a beautiful manicure that lasted about 10 days! I was still at the nail salon well after 6pm and they did not rush me out. Oh- and they didn't try and make me feel bad that I was not paying my tip in cash! This will be my new go to nail salon! read more

I've been here several times, especially on Wednesdays (when you can get the mani/pedi combo for $35). Their regular prices are very reasonable too, and it's a lovely experience. Lavender or green tea foot soak, leg massage, there's even a hot stone massage portion, which is amazing, and they finish it off with a hot towel, which feels really excellent on a chilly winter day. I think the whole thing lasted close to 40 minutes, not sure I've ever timed it before but I felt very well taken care of. The manicure was also very relaxing, the nail technician working with me took her time with each layer, and gives a great neck/shoulder/arm massage! My experience/service from last weeks appointment is what prompted me to finally write a review. I've always received excellent service here, friendly staff, the nail technicians are very good. My manicure (regular, not no-chip) from 7 days ago is just now barely starting to chip. That is the longest I've ever had a regular manicure last this long before, so I am very happy. This place is pretty convenient for me, as it's on my daily commute, and I will continue to come back :-) *bonus, it's next door to a Starbucks! read more
