I have been with the Nail Bar for about 5 years or more and I never had a black nail infection and Juli can do any design you want if you like designs on your nails. I'd give a zero if I could. I went there because my place was closed and I thought closed for good.I heard good things about this place. I was a walk in at 9:30 when they opened and the owner said no problem pick a color. I wanted a "Dip" The lady did this differently than my person but whatever I would see right? When I left you could see my nail clearly through the red nail color.Within 3 days my nails my nails were chipping. At my other place I could go an entire month with no chips,they just grew out. I went back which really bothered me to complain but the owner said we'll put a clear coat on top. I am so not a nail person but I thought wth that is so not going to work. Sadly the same woman that worked on them before sat me down and buffed them and put on and a gel to match. Next day chips! $38.00 plus a $5.00 tip I am not a person with money. I do this because I work in retail and my fingers get cracked severely when I don't have nails and this really helps. Never would I go back and I advise others to at least not be walk-in's! Very unhappy from the start. Very bland and generic appearance inside. Cleanliness is borderline questionable and the place was empty. When the person I presume is the manager assigned me to the person who did my nails, she was playing on her phone and seemed annoyed that she was being asked to do her job (oh the horror!). She used a dremel tool to file my nails after doing the dip powder and swiped the skin on my pointer finger. It. Hurt. Like. Hell. She only gave me a look as if to say "oh shit." I asked for an ombre effect with silver glitter and that's clearly not what I got. Fast forward 4 days later and one of my nails chipped already. I've had dip done before and it lasted 4 weeks. Way beyond 4 days. My regular polish lasts longer. Safe to say, I won't be going back. read more

From start to finish Julia was amazing! She was able to create exactly what I described to her. I knew I wanted the holographic look and something pink and pretty and from that Julia created a masterpiece!! Very friendly and personable staff. The salon was clean. I have been following Julia on social media for the amazing work she does with nails. I ended up stopping by to get my eyebrows waxed, and all I can say is I will never go anywhere else. It's hard to find a place that does great works of art with the eyebrow. Now that I've gone a few times, I know the time and patience put into making my eyebrows the best as possible. I made an appointment but the tech I made the appt with was working on someone else when I arrived for it. I was shunted off to another tech and when I complained that I had made an appt with "Julia" she told me the other tech would "get me started" and then she would continue. When the other tech continued to work with me after 5 minutes had passed I refused and said my appt was with Julia. Julia made me wait 10 more minutes before she decided to honor my appointment with her and no apologies. It seem so many salons want appointments and then either make you wait, say if you are late they can't do the work, or try to foist another tech on you. Unpleasant experience here. Don't bother making an appointment- it is ignored. read more

I will NEVER return there. Basic pedicure. When asked to pay they informed me they only took cash. No mention of this when I walked through the door. Eventually they consented to a card but said I couldn't leave a tip on a card and told me there was an ATM next door. There wasn't. Came back in and another woman working there told me to go to the Dollar Store and buy something to get cash back with my debit card. To top it all off, I got home and the paint was already chipped on my toes and the ridges on big toes weren't smoothed out. It is AWFUL. read more

This was the worst nail experience I've had in my life. My nails are uneven, and incredibly short. The staff doesn't listen when you explain what you'd like done to fix your issue, and then charged me a nail repair when i complained about how they shaped my nails. Staff is incredibly unprofessional. Before i was getting up to pay, the nail technician looked at me and said, "you tip now", which mind you i was planning on doing. I go here for nail dates with my co-worker/close friend and I've always had a good experience. Julia really takes her time with designs and any request you make. I haven't worked with the other nail techs, but from what I've seen- they're great as well. I would definitely recommend! read more

This place is over priced compared to all the other nail salons in the area. The unprofessionalism is appalling!! I scheduled a manicure and pedicure with the owner, Hui, who is also the husband of the co owner, Ashley. When I came in she stood with him at the cash register and stated "My husband will not be doing your pedicures anymore. One of the girls can." I asked if there was some sort of issue with the time as I had called in advance and scheduled with him directly and there didn't seem to be a problem then as he scheduled it himself. She went on and on with a bizarre explanation including that she could do my pedicure but that she didn't want her husband doing my pedicures any longer. Jealousy issues?? Be advised! Whenever you make an appointment at a salon or spa you have the right to choose who you want to perform these services especially since you are the paying client! Seems to me they need a training on ethics and professionalism! read more
