I have been remiss in not promoting them before now! This light, bright, friendly shop in the Chelsea Corners Shopping Center is my go to spot for pedis and manis! They have a special process for a better version of SNS powder nails that keep them strong. This is the first time in twenty years my nails have grown and rarely break. (In a year I've broken two nails since coming here. My fault - not theirs.) For anyone having sensitive hands (autoimmune) they do not hurt having my nails done here. I made an appointment and arrived to see three people working very hard. Ms. Tina greeted me and told me to pick out a nail color. She completed my manicure and started on my pedicure. She took calls and booked appointments in between but I never felt neglected. I was comfortable with her and she even fixed an area on a nail and didn't get upset when I pointed it out. Her son finished my pedicure and saw a problem area and suggested a product. He even found it on his phone to show me so I would know exactly what to purchase. Very pleasant experience.

The last time I was there, my tech let me sit with foils on my nails for 30+ minutes while he took a break. This was especially frustrating, given that I had limited time. He previously told me that the color I chose might appear slightly different, and that if I did not like it, he would add some gel polish to balance it out. He finished up, and did not ask if I liked the end result -- just said "thank you" and quickly brought me up to the counter. While the end result looked fine, the color was wildly different than what I chose, and I was bothered by the way he treated me. If I had more time, I would've said something. Between that and it being impossible now to make an appointment over the phone, I have a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. I've seen some very entitled clients who ask their tech for multiple color changes, but I really don't think I should have to speak up about something as blatant as this.

Disappointment follows by the first, second, or third visit at the latest. If you need a nice clean, well, polished mani or pedi this is it. I constantly try to find a place a little closer to home for convenience, but you cannot beat the level of professionalism, and quality that you receive here. Not to mention you get two free drinks. Not sold yet? They also have a pretty nice loyalty program that allows you to earn points during your visits. I don't know any other salon that incentivizes customers like that in BHAM. I can tell you my horror stories about going to another salon before my wedding and the tech filing half my toe off ONLY to return here so that they can restore my wedding nail dreams.
