One of my coolest days on Maui was the famous ALL DAY "Road To Hana" drive. Traveling solo, it feels weird to take selfies everywhere or worse, asking someone to take your photo. The tour was me and 2 other couples: one couple were newlyweds and the other couple were on their very 1st trip together (as a couple). (Honestly where do you go after a trip to a Hawaii?!?) We could not have had a group that meshed BETTER than all of us. Our guide Henry clearly knew "the good spots" because we didn't stop anywhere that anyone else was... he made us climb down treacherous "root ladders" and walk through the coldest water up to our necks but his ideas were always SO worth it. Not only deduct they cancel as our reservation but they gave us no reason why other than the fact that we are traveling with six children who are all super responsible, have a love for the ocean, and a great respect for all properties. When we got the notice of cancellation, again, after we had canceled our other properties., They offered no explanation Even after we agreed to talk to the property manager or the owner to figure out exactly why they canceled our reservation. I can't help but think that somehow they are discriminating against our religion, we're having mini siblings it's kind of what we do. Because they said that we had too many people on the reservation even though the place fits eight-which is exactly what we had. Now her vacation is ruined and I would employ you to run as fast as you can away from that shady outfit. The quick couple of hours is going to actually be a lifetime memory of fun and yes, learning something new. Ryan made me feel welcome from the very start and imparted confidence and trust in his expertise. Jason continually cracked me up, but in addition to providing laughter and levity, he offered great tips and insights on things to do during your zip. Our whole group (four of us) kind of had a team bond along with our two leaders and their apprentice (Simon) which I enjoyed immensely. Both leaders also provided commentary on jungle fauna and flora, especially edibles. My favorite tasting was the red ginger and the humble banana that was incredibly sweet. The next day I booked online around 2pm and by 3pm I had heard from the girl and was set to meet her at the cart at 3:30 for pick up! So prompt and helpful. Upon arrival some coastal roads were shut down because of a storm and we were not able to take it on the highway so she had me follow her on back roads to get around the construction! I was so thankful for her dedication to setting me up for success. The charger provided is just a regular plus so we were able to plug in right in the Airbnb garage. And we used the cart to go to the gym, grocery stores, Starbucks, the beach, nail appointment, shopping at the plazas, night rides to put babies to sleep, really just everywhere we went this was our top choice over our rented Yukon, really nice stroller and our rented bmw convertible! I honestly think it was the highlight of our entire stay and we are so impressed with the customer service we experienced with pick up and drop off! I had even paid for the delivery and pick up fee because I figured it was required and they refunded me and explained why I could just come grab it! Will be coming back for sure!
