I travel to PR once a year and like trying new restaurants and this one was close by. Glancing around, everything others had ordered looked appetizing, but I thought I would try a random dish (chefs special). The description was something like "whatever the chef feels like", okay, paraphrased but close. The roll I got was nothing short of spectacular! It looked great and tasted even better! We are visiting Puerto Rico for the first time, after eating so many Puerto Rican food we decided to try something else. And what's severely disappointing is the quality of the food and the extreme slowness of the service... The scallops are way over cooked, and sushi was not done properly. I found this place simply by having to park further than usual to get to SAMS and walk pass the place and decide to give a try. After 2 years of looking for that perfect sushi place i can now say my search is over. And to think i have been driving pass this place all this time. I when on a Monday when they have the Maki special. I ordered shrimp tempura, Salmon roll, and a California roll for only 15 dollars. Simply amazing. I did not gave it 5 stars because the waitress forgot to bring the soy sauce plate when she brought the sushi and another waiter had to get them because she was gone for about 5 minutes. read more

I went to nagasaki today with my husband.. The experience was horrible, their menu's are dirty just like if someone drop soy sauce on them. Then they gave you two different menus with two different prices "same food". I ask for water and lemon and it didnt arrived, we ask again for the water and the waitress gave our lemon water to other customers. For the third time we ask for the water and when it arrived one lemon on the glass had a pink lipstick. Then the food came but not all at once, my husband food arrived first and not mines. His seeweed salad was spicy and it didnt say anything about that in the menu. Since my husband has belly problems he cant eat spicy so we told the waitress and her answer was that the seeweed is always spicy. After that my bento box arrived, after almost 40 minutes of waiting, i ask for garlic chicken but what i got wss some teriyaki chicken and onions, the 4 california sushi didnt had cream cheese and the fruit was 2 small strawberrys soaked in whipped cream. The flavor of the food wasnt great. The moment of checkout.... the waitress said that for the garlic chicken was a $1 extra but she didnt say anything before, plus the price was from the other menu which it was the same food but over price. My husband told her that the price we saw was from the other menu and she said that the right one was from the paper menu -_- which is insane to have 2 menus with the same food and different prices. Very good food! The rolls are huge so 2 rolls for 2 persons is more than enough. Very nice hostess and the waiters paid very good attention. I do recommend it and I will be coming back read more

My food was literally cold. The nastiest food I probably have ever had lol I wasted $20 on a bento box. I got fried chicken tempera and it was soggy. The fruits went bad. read more

Excellent service. Clean and the sushi was extremely fresh. Portions in the Bento boxes are very generous, might even be enough for two. Moderate priced but for the amount you get the price is worth it. Definitely would recommend and will go back again. read more

Cozy place and good service. The miso soup is good, same as the shrimp tempura roll. The spicy crab roll it's really good, must have. The prices are great and you don't have to wait that much for your food. read more

Sad place to find. As appetizer, we ordered the calamar tempura, and it was fried with what seemed to be days old and way overused oil. The smell of it alone was disgusting. Despite that, we tried eating it because we were extremely hungry, but it was impossible. It was just terrible food. Our only hope was that the entrée wasn't terrible. I ordered the Sakura roll, which says on the menu that it consists of "crab, c/c, avo, spicy salmon, flakes". When it arrived, it had salmon (or at least I think it was salmon) in teriyaki sauce. When I asked the server what that was, she treated me as if it was a stupid question, as if it was obvious the roll had that weird stuff on top. Still, I braved it and started to eat. Until I found a hair inside of my sushi. I kept pulling it out, as it seemed to be an endless hair strand, and it fell on the floor. The waitress took forever to come over, and was nowhere to be seen, so we told the hostess. She said she would get the waitress. She seemed irritated. When we told her what we had found, I don't think she believed us. She said "fine, but you have to pay for the beer," which we meant to. All in all, it was an experience that went from bad to worse, and the employees weren't even aware their service was bad. read more

I gave it four stars not because of thier food but service we waited for about 20 minutes until we finally got service. The food was great plus we went on a monday night and they had 3 rolls for 15 dollars. That was great. California Roll with caviar, crazy roll and shrimp tempura. This place had great food. Spicy crab salad I could say will be dreaming about it. Its the care that the chef places in each of the sushi rolls shows he takes pride. My only negative is the service. Have more waiters. Have better service you should never wait until a clients water is done. Great service is already filling that water up when its half way. I really recommend this place. We happened upon this sushi place because it is near Sam's Club, which we joined when we first moved to Bayamon. We've tried a number of sushi places in Puerto Rico, and this has been our favorite so far. We usually get shrimp tempura and their Super Dragon roll. But we've tried a few others that were all top of the line. Good Miso soup and dumplings also. Tuesday and Wednesday, if I'm not mistaken, are their sushi special days, which is 3 rolls for $15 or something similar. They originally had tables for chef's that cook in front of you, but there seems to have been little demand for it, so they tore out those stations, and replaced them with more seating. So it is a much more spacious and comfortable environment now than when we first began eating there. Staff is very friendly and gives really good service as well. read more
