We tried the pan fried veggie dumplings, scallion pancake, hongkong noodles, imperial ginger tofu, black bean chicken, ube pudding and donut with condensed milk. Also 4 drinks - ranging from floral soju based, tropical gin based to fruity bourbon ones. Everything tasted alright - but don't go here expecting authentic flavors - just get ur trip fix ins for asian inspired food. Also I'd skip the imperial ginger and anything that has sweet spicy description as those dishes only lean toward sweet sugary sauce flavors. Service is good but they took really long to come out with the desserts and then the check.

I admittedly had low expectations for Chinese food in PR, but the lo mein with chicken was delicious! They also had a few vegan options, like the imperial ginger w tofu (essentially sweet & sour tofu) that comes with a side of rice. My lo mein did not come with a side of rice but the portion size could be split among two people, and you can add a side of rice for a small up charge. The vibe is a black & red Asian decor, with a rap around bar and a few restaurant tables. There is also a walk-up boba bar attached that's available on the dining menu.

My parents had eaten here before and said it was really good, so we were excited to see if it lived up to the hype. The restaurant had a lively, bustling atmosphere, with a steady stream of customers dining in and picking up takeout orders. Even though it was busy, the staff kept things moving efficiently. Even for a large order, the wait was only about 30 minutes. They have a separate pickup area for to-go orders, which made the process organized and easy despite how busy they were. We ordered the beef fried rice, house fried rice, churrasco steak, house lo mein, sesame beef, jumbo shrimp, chicken wings, fried pork, pork ramen, and three sushi rolls. The kids in our family chose the Philly Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and Red Dragon Roll, and they really enjoyed them. I had originally planned to order a different sushi roll from the menu, but it wasn't available that day. It wasn't a big deal, though, because the rolls we did get were fresh and delicious. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The churrasco steak was my personal favorite--the meat was incredibly tender and already well seasoned on its own. My husband wasn't a fan of the accompanying sauce, but he agreed the steak itself was excellent. We also really enjoyed the fried rice, and the portions were generous. They were also generous with the condiments and included a variety of sauces with our order, which we appreciated. The only thing we missed was chili oil, since it's a condiment we usually expect to have available at Chinese restaurants. If you're staying nearby or looking for a restaurant that offers both Chinese and Japanese cuisine, Tayzan is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared for a crowd--it seems to be popular for a reason!

Service: can be quite slow because they have too many tables compared to employees working. The servers also will get confused and bring the wrong order so be prepared to send food back. The food was also delivered all at once. We ordered soup, appetizer, and main. They should have staggered it to keep the dishes hot. Food: ordered the veggie soup. It was $10 for a small portion but the soup was very tasty. The veggies were crisp. It was served tepid so I think it sat on the counter. We ordered veggie spring rolls, they were crunchy, pipping hot, and full of veggies very good. The dipping sauce complimented well. Now the Singapore noodles were beef, chicken, shrimp, and egg. It had quite a lot of shrimp. The beef and chicken were inedible. The velvetize of the beef made it rubbery and the they don't have good knife skills because the beef was a big chunk and it was undercooked in some spots and the texture was just again inedible. The chicken also had wrong texture from being velvetized. Very greasy sturdy noodles. The appetizers and soup are delicious, bit overpriced. While the Singapore noodles were generous portion- can split between 2 people, we did not eat the entire dish due to the textures and overly greasy.

Definitely recommend for a fun dinner with new, innovative flavors.

The perfect Asian-Boricua fusion! Dishes we tried: (Almost the entire menu) - Okonomiyaki Bacalaito: The most I was excited to try. Japanese style pancake inspired by Puerto Rican cod fritters. Great flavors but the execution could improve. I would have like the 'bacalaito' to be more crispy. - Cabrito Dumpling: Tender goat stew dumpling with Asian spices. It was tasty but be mindful that the 'cabrito' flavors are rich and intense specially in this take. Also the dough was a little thick to my liking. Not light. - Fried Brussels Sprouts: One of my fav!! Crispy, addictive and coated with bold Asian sauces. - Korean Fried Chicken (KFC): Crunchy, sticky and packed with sweet/spicy flavors. Dig in with your fingers for a more enjoyable experience. - Yukhoe Steak Tartare: Another one of the FAV! This dish was outstanding. Tender pieces of steak mixed with an egg yolk to give it the perfect smoothness and richness. Comes with lite rice crackers to pair with but we also other the 'tostones' with garlic and it was a match made in heaven, succulent! - PPP Salad: Perfect for transitioning from appetizers to main course. Composed of cucumber, pomegranate and 'platanutres' very refreshing like a palette cleansing. - Daniel Udon Noodle: Paired with 'longaniza' sausage this time, protein can vary. This dish delivered the best umami flavors. The noodles had great texture. - A la Vietnamita, Chuleta: The 'chuleta' (pork chop) were perfectly cooked, tasty. I fought for the bone piece. Comes with side of lettuce leaves, to make wraps. - Where's the Beef: Grilled picanha steak, we ask for medium, it was juice and flavorful. Comes with a delicious crying tiger béarnaise sauce. Also sticky rice. - Dessert, Service was great. Our server was friendly and very helpful. He gave us amazing recommendations. We paired the whole food experience with an organic orange wine from Los Angeles that was different but really good. It can get a little noisy but that's the vibe. Lively and exciting. Highly recommend for adventurous foodies!
