I come to Puerto Rico two to three times a year; and, no vacation is complete if we don't come to eat at Wah Lung. It's already a tradition. The fried rice is perfect. I ordered the smoked pork combo and you can easily feed two persons. It's insane how much food they pack on a tray. Needless to say, the serving portions are more than generous. Served Puertorican style, it comes with fried rice, French fries and lots of meat. Some of our favorite combinations are the fried chicken combo, the pepper steak combo, the pepper chicken combo, the sweet and the sweet and sour shrimp combo. Their fried plantains are also amazing!

The tostones de ajo were my favorite, and everything tasted fresh. The orange chicken was super tasty, and every meat option we tried was juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly marinated. It's also pretty affordable our family of 13 ate for around $140, which is a great deal for the quality and amount of food we received.

1759 Av. Paraná, San Juan, 00926, Puerto Rico…read more Awesome food!!! I would say Happy Garden makes the best Chinese food in Puerto Rico. If you are meat lover, you have to try this place. Whether you dine in or have Togo box, they will be filled your box with so much meat. In California, they'll charge extra for the meat and amount of food they give you is less. They do have parking infront of the restaurant and across the street. Customer service at Happy Garden is top of the notch. Over the years, the owner has renovated the restaurant. He's hardworking and provides the best service and food for customers. For those that don't know the owner, he migrated from China to Venezuela. And finally settled in Puerto Rico. He learnt Spanish to learn and how to meet the customers demand. Although he can retire anytime, he wants to serve the community. During COVID, they have placed extra precautions. Please go visit them. I would totally recommend to anyone visiting Puerto Rico or to the local people.
