I try not to come on a grand opening because they need time to work out the nuances, but we were very gun shy about having Chicago Street food in Holland. The order was not completely right where we got some perch instead of a gyro and all fries instead of a couple of come slaws. The Italian beef was a little dry and the wings were decent but not quite Chicago enough for me and my hubby who have lived there for the past 20 years. Prices are reasonable, and the staff super friendly and helpful!

I dig this place. The owner is super nice and his food is on point. Chef trained bbq. Wings and tips are great.

What a south side gem! Nadine's is a newcomer to Holland's Washington Ave. It's narrow and unassuming, tucked into a strip mall. Nadine's is inspired by the Chicago street food scene, and the flavors and portions and combos were downright satisfying. I tried a three item combo: rib tips slathered in a tangy BBQ sauce, three big planks of ocean perch, and four big chicken wings (one wing = drummy still attached to the flat!), all with a generous portion of house made French fries. I'd put these wings against the big chain's any day. Breaded gently and fried to perfection with the one-handed eatability that only true wing fans understand. Fish and tips were great, too. Add Nadine's Chicago style hot sauce for extra zip (it's good!). Be patient, as they're still ramping up their business, staff, and inventory. Dining room is small, but folks can carry out. (They've got lots of great bundle deals on all their main dishes.) Nadine's is going to be making regulars and fast. I'll be back!

So excited to have a Chicago Style Street Food location right here in Holland Mi. They are slammed at opening but they will get their groove soon. Best of luck and cannot wait to be regulars.

As you can see from this photo it's pink in the middle of the chicken wing.

Happy Grand Opening! The perch was amazing, can't wait to try the catfish when available. Wings were crispy and tender, great seasoning.

Can I just say OMG!? My husband and I love BBQ, so when we saw all the food awards this place won…read morein the "Best of 2022" in the Holland Sentinel, we had to try it. And are we glad we did! The half chicken was smoked, tender and juicy. The brisket was meaty and flavorful--they didn't skimp on the meat in a slider like many places do. We split it and still had meat falling out! St. Louis ribs are usually too tough for me--but these were fall-off-the-bone tender like baby back ribs. All. To. Die. For! We didn't try all the sides, but we recommend the baked beans (husband liked putting extra BBQ sauce on them) and corn. Note: the corn bread is not to be missed! We ordered online and everything was spot on in the drive-thru. The people are super nice as well. Enjoy! And thank me (and all the Holland Sentinel voters!) later!

First the good: -Staff was friendly and helpful. -Place was clean. -Garlic toast was yummy! -French fries were fresh and hot. Now the bad: -Pulled Pork was mushy and completely shredded to where it kind of clumped together, lacked any smoke flavor and tasted like water had been added (maybe more than once) to add moisture. -Campfire corn was weird. I never had anything like it, so I have a hard time evaluating. At first I did not like it at all, but as I ate more I kind of liked it. Final tally, 2.5 out of 5. -Sauces were not good at all. I tried the sweet and the spicy and both were meh. I did not try the mustard sauce. I wanted to like the place. I love BBQ and want LOTS of good BBQ joints to exist. But, when I read this on the website, "Holy Smokers BBQ has won many awards for their delicious Que! They still compete...in Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Indiana and Illinois. Why settle for BBQ that just don't measure up. Years of proven success cooking BBQ Low & Slow for that flavor that can't be matched." and then have such a bad experience with the meat, it's disappointing. I will try again and if I have a better result, I'll update.

Came to Seventy-Six for a work dinner, and it did not disappoint! The restaurant is located in…read moredowntown Holland, with plenty of parking nearby, including a garage right behind it. We were seated immediately, which was a great start to the evening. We started with the bacon-wrapped dates and crab rangoons. The dates were the perfect combination of sweet and salty and were served on a hot plate. The crab rangoons were also delicious, with a flavorful, slightly sweet filling. One thing that stood out was the presentation of all the dishes, which felt very upscale and thoughtfully put together. For my entrée, I ordered the crispy chicken katsu. It came in a large bowl with noodles underneath. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and it paired really well with the sauce and noodles. My only critique is that I would've liked some vegetables incorporated into the dish to balance out the richness, but overall, it was still very good. One thing I found interesting was that despite being marketed as an American restaurant, the menu featured quite a few Asian-inspired dishes, which I appreciated. Overall, I had a great dining experience at Seventy-Six. The food was flavorful, the presentation was impressive, and the atmosphere was perfect for a work dinner. I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu!

The service was excellent -- perfectly timed, without a single unnecessary wait. The prices felt very reasonable for the quality and level of the restaurant. I usually love to finish a great dinner with dessert, and since the food was so good, I skipped appetizers and saved room. The four of us tried all three desserts on the menu. Given how impressed I was with the food, I expected a little more from the desserts. They were good, but for me, they didn't quite reach the same level as the rest of the meal. Overall, Seventy-Six is a wonderful, atmospheric restaurant that made our trip to Holland even more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend it.

However, the reviews were good so we ventured in... and I'm glad we did as the inside is extremely inviting and the food was great! First of all - there's a kid's waiting area with snacks!! What an amazing idea! We sat quickly and ordered. I had the salmon entree - which was not the prettiest looking plate but wow, was it good! Cooked well and the vegetables that were steamed on the side were perfectly cooked also. Burgers looked good and everyone ate swiftly so I assume everyone's meals were delicious. Service was friendly and swift (but didn't rush us) and this spot even had clean bathrooms (which is a huge plus for a restaurant). Price is reasonable especially for the portion sizes. So, ignore the location and the look of the outside (they also have speakers playing horse sounds outside...) and head in for a delicious and friendly meal.

It was super nice that they brought him an Oreo cookie for dessert. This is my kind of place, they get it.
