Great food, really good quality bbq. Very nice staff. Indoor and outdoor seating available as well as take out.

Sadly the food was so so. The Mac n Cheese was alright; 5/10 and I didn't care for the bacon bits in it. Real bacon made daily would be so beneficial for this Mac. The jalapeño potato salad and cornbread were recommended by the staff and those were both very tasty. 8/10. We also tried the wings and there were EXTREMELY dry and overcooked. 1/10. I was so looking forward to them too. I could only eat one :( The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of multiple times through our meal. I appreciated all the sauces, and little extras they had out for the taking. Like honey packets, salt n pepper etc. read more

Hog Wild BBQ - Mac n Mac & Cheese with Bacon - Barbeque Near Me - Holland, Michigan

Was totally headed elsewhere for lunch when the wonderful bbq aromas of the outdoor grill brought us in. The service was very quick. This is more of a stand with small indoor and outdoor seating I got a half rack and really wish I had gotten a full. For those who correctly like their ribs dripping in sauce this place is heaven sent I'm closed terrific Mac and cheese and corn bread Simple but delightful! Only reason I could deduct a star is that there is not enough. But that would be a problem no matter how many racks you ordered! Will be back any time I'm in the area! read more

now When I walked in and saw brisket on the menu I was oh yea!!! Gotta try it!! the guy at the counter said it was the best in the city. Well, if this is what you call the best in the city, I'll never try brisket round this town ever again. Actually, this ain't even brisket.. I know POT ROAST when I taste one and see one... THIS IS ROAST. I WISH I Could Add a picture. This ain't it, it's dry, it's thick, fake char on the top or side or Somethin. I normally don't leave Reviews but I'm tired of these restaurants getting down on us by charging this much for BS. it's Friday, I just wanted some good brisket and chill on my patio After a work day but noooo I got this #Trashahhfakebrisket This is "BRICK-SKET read more

I did a pick up order for our family while on vacation in the area. We ordered a #4 and a #6 package. The order was just as we had ordered and the food was delicious! Large portions and we loved all of it The brisket was our favorite meat. Mac and cheese and potatoes were great. The woman who took my order was friendly and everything was ready and packaged well for easy take out. Highly recommend Thanks for a excellent experience and a delicious dinner 8/19/25 read more

Picked up food for a baby shower for 60 guests. We had pulled pork, potato salad and mac n cheese with bacon. It was a hit with the adults and kids. Everybody loved the food. And good prices too! Thank you. read more

Food is solid, middle of the road wings, chicken and ribs. Need to come back and try the pulled pork, sausage, brisket. Service was great ordered on line and showed up 10 mins later, they had everything just about ready and even took some last minute changes. The place is a counter, clean, good location and easy in easy out. We have been here before and try to go when we are in town. Hot sauce could be hotter for those wanting more spice but the BBQ rib sauce is sweet and just enough heat. Corn cakes are nothing to write home about. Mac & Cheese with Bacon is sent from heaven! read more

I got the pulled pork sandwiches and the ribs. They were both not very good. The ribs look like they were smoked days ago and taste like they were microwaved. I wouldn't come back. Service wasn't bad though and the building was clean. read more

I don't like giving unfavorable reviews, but it's necessary to share these experiences so others can make informed decisions about where to spend their hard earned money. I was highly disappointed. I ordered wings, ribs and chili. The chili was ok, but the ribs and wings were bland and didn't have much flavor. Even with the sauce. Nothing tasted like it was on a grill but rather like it had been baked in the oven. The service wasn't good either. I asked the cashier for recommendations and she basically just shrugged. That's bad. read more

Order 2lbs of brisket and two sides. I was very disappointed. I've had their pulled pork before, which was good, and so I had similar expectations with other meats, however their brisket was dry and a little tough to chew. Almost as bad as eating over cooked chicken breast. Couldn't finish what I had on my plate and the family was disappointed. The sides were fine, mashed potatoes were homemade and tasted just so. read more

Hog Wild BBQ - What was left. I should have taken a picture before hand. The rest was in the trash. - Barbeque Near Me - Holland, Michigan

Service was kind and efficient. Everything ordered was in my bag. Ribs, 1/2 chicken, potato salad, baked beans and pork, and coleslaw. We orderedthe dinner for 4 and there was so much food. My first impression of a BBQ meal is the coleslaw. If you cannot make a great coleslaw, it's over. Hog Wild makes an excellent coleslaw. I want just the coleslaw right now! All the food was great! The corn cakes are a great twist on cornbread. I like the way they are prepared. Easy to handle and tasty. The BBQ sauces are very good too. One to try is the Habanero! The heat is perfect. I cannot wait to return and try their brisket, Chili, and honestly a great chili dog would make my day! See you again soon! read more

My 7 year old and I were doing laundry next door, and stopped into hog wild to use the bathroom. We decided to get a bite to eat to pass time waiting for laundry. We were NOT disappointed. My son is one who THINKS he likes spicy, but usually regrets it after. The young man who took our order was so kind and patient waiting for my son to make up his mind. He went with the teriyaki wings. After listening to my talkative son talk about how he likes spicy, the young man brought him a couple extra sauces to try out. Made my sons day! Wonderful food end EXCELLENT service! My son came back to the laundromat and told everyone there about his great experience and how they all need to go there! Lol read more

Maude mad! Had a hankering for your bbq and it tasted like doggy food. Offered to dog, dog refused. Sausage burnt and gray on the inside like my hair! Sauce as tasteless as my reviews! Brisket tasted like it was cooked in a soiled boot! UPDATE: Maude couldn't sleep because of the rancid gas! Beware of the brisket farts! read more

It's been the go to bbq spot. I have picked up food for my aunt's birthday party from here and it was a big hit! They don't do call ahead orders, but they are pretty quick when you order at the counter. The meat is pretty tender and just falls off the bone. I have the chicken, pulled pork, ribs, brisket, and sausage link. I also really enjoy their side dishes. There is this tanginess of the pasta salad that I appreciate. I also have had their jalapeño potato salad which has a great kick and crunchiness to it that balances out the softness of the potatoes. The coleslaw and corn bread were also on point. The sweet bbq and the spicy bbq sauces are fantastic. I actually bought a bottle of the sweet bbq. The prices are reasonable and the staff is great. The guy packing it up added an extra spicy sauce for me. We will be back! read more

Delicious smoke flavor, tender meat. Patio seating too. Tried the ribs, brisket sandwich and pulled pork, jalapeño potatoes salad and loved the chili! read more

Very good meal! Clean restaurant & great service! The corn cakes were awesome!! We should have bought a dozen.

Hot links were OK as was pulled pork sandwich. However, potato salad was bland, and, honestly, pasta salad was worst I ever had.

Hog Wild BBQ was a dinner stop on a whim and it was a great choice! I ordered the roast chicken and rib combo with bacon mac & cheese and my husband ordered a two meat meal with pulled pork and sausage link (also with bacon mac). We were both satisfied with the portions, flavors, and price, and the corn cakes were a slam dunk. Quick service and nice outdoor seating made a great dinner for us! read more

Disappointing. Self promotion promise of great food an exaggeration at least. Average quality found in local grocers hot bar many places and the slaughter of brisket brought a tear to my eye. read more

Just stopped for a quick meal. Food was tasty, ribs seemed a little dry but the side sauce was very good.

Since the pandemic began, we've ordered from here twice through Grub Hub. Both times they've delivered 100% correct and in less time than quoted. The BBQ is great and I love their smoked wings. So far a great place for BBQ! Keep up the great work! read more

Man, I wish saying BBQ on the sign meant more than "reheated gross GFS meat". This place doesn't even have a smoker.

We placed a large catering order for delivery in Fennville MI this past Saturday. Tim, Sue, and the whole catering team were great to work with. Austin was right on time delivering our order and very professional in setting everything up and checking on us before he left. We had the BBQ pork and chicken sandwiches with coleslaw, Mac and cheese, and potato salad sides. It came with serving utensils, plates and wrapped silverware. Everyone loved the food and it was exactly what we hoped for. We will definitely choose this place for our catering needs again. read more

I think we can all agree that BBQ in the North jus ain't the same as the South. Just like Chicago style pizza tastes better in the Windy City. With that said, there's no where in the North I'd rather go than Hog Wild to get my BBQ. I personally recommend just the pulled pork sandwich, but there really isn't a bad menu item. I've had the ribs, the brisket, the chicken, etc. I honestly love them all. The reason I get the pulled pork is because I just can't eat like I used to, so the portion is a bit more manageable. The best side in my opinion is the corn cake, but the baked beans are right up there. I usually pair the two. Put those two with the pulled pork and that's a mighty lunch right there! I come here once a month to get my fix but if my budget and diet allowed it I'd be here weekly. P.s. best seasonal item is the roasted turkey around harvest time. Oh boy. You need to visit around then. read more

Awesome food, great service, fast! The owner is there a lot and is such a friendly guy. Stop in and say hello to Timmy O.

This isn't BBQ. It's pot roast Pulled pork = pot roast Brisket = pot roast Ribs = well, pot roast slathered in a ketchup, mustard, and onion slop claimed to be sauce Don't eat this stuff. You're better than that Learn from my mistake I love you. Love yourself. And dear god, don't put yourself through eating this slop. read more

The BBQ sauces are great - but the buns were thick and pasty. They would be better toasted. They leave so much sauce in the meat that it's a mess to eat and makes the bun soggy. My husband ordered a meal with 2 sides and they asked what drink he wanted. He wasn't made aware that the soft drink doesn't come with a $15.99 meal (but it came with my sandwich combo). They charge an extra $2.99 for the soda with the meal, making it around $19 for one meal and $31 overall for a meal and a sandwich combo....too expensive overall. read more

We're having Hog Wild cater our wedding and the tasting was free and the food was amazing!!!

First off their coleslaw is super wet and purple...no one wants purple ass cabbage coleslaw. The pulled pork tasted like a premade Gordon food service pulled pork- very mushy and the bun was so wet from it fell apart. The Mac n cheese tasted only like the packaged bacon put in it. The corn cakes were okay with honey...they almost tasted like a undercooked sugar cookie. Ribs were burnt. We were so disappointed and had such high hopes for this place! We eat a lot of bbq and this was not it. read more

After going on a BBQ tour of the midwest and sampling quite a few places... this place is MEH at best. The smell from outside is wonderful... but it is along the lines of fast food BBQ.
