We got hummus, cucumber sauce, and French feta to go with our bread, which was still warm going into the bag. The staff allowed us to try a small amount of the feta before purchasing because I wasn't certain what I wanted. He was very patient and helpful as I figured it out. We also got a variety of oils from the olive bar, all of which were delicious. The store was well organized, stocked, and clean. Will totally be doing a dinner night here in the future. We took our haul home and had a little platter with some veggies in the sunshine :)

I was surprised at how large the seating area is, and there are some really nice murals on the walls. The menu is large with a lot of specialties I haven't had before, like garnachas, huaraches, entomatadas, and enfrijoladas. We were just getting a snack so we each got two tacos - I got asada and chicken, and Nate got the al pastor and lengua. We also chose a Jarritos soda from the cooler. They have other beverages like agua frescas and horchata. Our food was ready quickly and we enjoyed it in the dining area. The grocery store was pretty warm, but I didn't mind. Plus it didn't take us long to devour our tacos! These were some of the best tacos I've had in awhile. Definitely on par with the former Taqueria San Jose. The meats were nicely cooked and seasoned, and the corn tortillas were really fresh and tender. The hot sauces and lime slices were a perfect addition. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more food! If you like a good hole in the wall taco spot, definitely add La Fonda to your list.

This store also has some unusual import supply connections. I overheard another customer asking for a specific Slavic regional brand product, not in the store, but the worker (owner?) got on the phone and started making calls in what sounded like more than two languages. I wanted to stick around to see how it played out but it became obvious I was eavesdropping. I must be losing my ethnographic research chops.

I love Seoul Market because they stock most of the ingredients I need to make my favorite Korean dishes at home. They don't have fresh produce (at least not recently when I've been in), but their freezer section is large and they have many pantry items as well as some kitchenware (rice cookers, chopsticks, etc.). My staples at Seoul Market are kimchi, gochujang, tteok, japchae noodles, snacks, and frozen items. The owner is super kind and friendly. I recommend using an app like Google translate to take photos of items if you're not super familiar with Korean ingredients, as many packages don't have any English on them. Prices here seem a little high, but I don't really mind since I love supporting this small store. There's always something interesting to find at Seoul Market!

Delicious, I'm sure I did it wrong). I'm a spicy food lover and I've learned that anything by the 2PM brand stocked here is amazing, especially the Fireballs. In all seriousness there is a rotating selection of Asian vegetables, they are seasonal and fresh. There are a lot of spices and condiments that I am sure are typical in daily Nepalese cooking. I've tried some of the chili condiments and loved them. A small selection of cookware and tons of snacks to try. Again, very friendly staff. Highly recommend food exploration here.
