Not a nice place. Food is overcharged and they dont represent a family friendly business at all. Ive been a customer here multiple times and they fired a family friend employee for asking for a weekend day off to spend time with their children leaving the family without an income. The food is really good. Best meatball subs around and the staff is so friendly. However, this is a pet peeve of mine with a lot of food establishments, there is never any soap in the restrooms to wash your hands...... Makes me question how does the staff wash theirs? Always good food, love the fries too. Priced a little on the higher end, but you do get a lot. I would give 5 stars, but I always have to ask for the sandwich to be cut. Subs from Nadeau's are surprisingly delicious. Pretty much no matter what I order, I know it's going to taste fresh and be ready fairly quickly. There are a variety of options and sides available to customize your meal. My favorite lunch is a steak tips and cheese sub with mayo and grilled onions, peppers, and mushrooms. The staff is friendly but the physical premises are spartan and no nonsense. You'd never go there to hang out. read more

I was dubious when this place opened up because nothing in that space has been very good in the last decade or so. Nadeau's is great! The food is excellent and fresh, they let you pick from small, medium, or large sized subs. The staff is friendly, they have a loyalty program, and the restaurant is clean and well decorated. (Love the pictures of Exeter past). My only gripe is that if you want your sub cut in half you have to remember to ask, otherwise you get the entire thing whole. read more

The food here is always amazing (especially the steak tip sub and Italian sub) and even when they are busy the staff are quick to greet you, take your order and do whatever they can to get the food out as soon as possible. This is a local chain that has above average subs, with good and friendly service. Their steak subs are similar to most served in the area (tasty but the meat is almost ground and is more like dry hamburger than steak). That being said the sandwiches here are far better than you'll get from the national chains. This time around, I also ordered fries and they stood out by being perfectly cooked: crisp and golden brown with no unwanted seasoning! If only sub shops would return to preparing steak sandwiches the proper way: sliced steak that can still be identified as steak. read more

Never going back there again. I paid 9 dollars for a chicken fajita wrap. It had no Fajita stuff. It was a small serving of chicken and some sauce. No peppers onions mushrooms or other vegetables. When I asked if they had given me a small they said no thats the size. It was the same price as a large sub. Nadeau's has always been expensive but prior to this I thought I was paying for a quality sandwich. I attempted to contact Nadeau's and did not hear back from them. The food is usually good, but as others have noted, the experience can be very inconsistent, depending on the time of day or staff present (welcome to full employment, people...). one example is that some items do not lend themselves to take-out orders, and a business that has been operating almost 50 years should know either not to sell those items "to go," or to alter how they are served. My parmesan sub was complete soup when I got to my home in Exeter. sauce on the side or lighten up on the sauce is a common sense adaptation. read more

These guys are awesome. I always get there meatball sub. It is very good whenever. The other members of my family say there other items are also good. There is plenty of seating and it is in a nice location close to downtown. The way they redesigned the interior of the shop is very nice. They did a really good job renewing that pet of the building. The best part is that although they are a chain restaurant, they act like a local sub shop. This is hard to do and I don't feel that any other sub shop accomplishes this local feel. read more
