Finding NADC Burger was a bit of an adventure. Apple Maps wasn't much help, but here's the deal: it's located inside the bar Idle Hands, and you'll need to walk through to the back to find the restaurant. The menu is straightforward and to the point. They don't do substitutions--hence the name "Not a Damn Chance." If you have allergies or specific preferences, this might not be the best spot, as they stick firmly to their policy. I was initially nervous when my husband mentioned how strict they are about changes, but when I placed my order, the staff was nice, and I had no complaints about the service. Once you get your food, you'll find seating wherever you can. My group snagged a small table near the front of the bar. As for the food? Incredible! My husband and I both loved it. Thankfully, I was fine with everything on the burger, so it was a win for me. The flavors were fantastic, and I'd definitely come back--though I might try one of their other locations since parking on Rainey Street is a hassle. All in all, if you're up for a no-frills, flavor-packed burger experience and can roll with their no-substitutions policy, NADC is worth a visit!

Wow talk about the tastiest smash burger ever! This location is tucked inside the back of the bar, no signage from outside. Walk though the front patio and bar and down the hallway. A small order window with the skateboard is where you order. You'll get a buzzer after ordering. The bar area has a small seating area. It is worth the find!

Burger crispy, juicy from wagyu, tang from sauce and jalapeños gives it a nice cut. Pricy but worth the quality. It's located inside of idle hands! Must be 21+ to enter.

On a scale from 1-10, I give it a 7...other than one of the owners is a Michelin star Chef.. this place was recommended by acquaintance. I like the fact that it was made with waygu meat and they use an American cheese, added their own special sauce with pickles jalapeño and grilled onions. The cook did not drown the sandwich with onions which was good. It was a tid bit greasy. I ordered regular fries that reminded me of Jack in the box fries. The burger reminded me of a big Mac but with better meat. I would still recommend cuz the ingredients are better than McDonald's. Price of the burger is $16. If you trying to save money that is not the place. It was a Thursday so not that many people at location. Glad there was no line. They have a patio outside were you can sit and enjoy your hot burger on a hot summer night. But go ahead and try it yourself. Everyone's taste buds' is different.

I love NADC, and am an avid goer to the east location. It happened to be closed when I wanted a burger, so we headed to this location. If possible, I highly recommend you attend the other locations. They famously have 2 items on their menu, and both times I've been to Rainey they have been out of one of their items (fries) :( On top of that, service was just meh, and the burger was extremely soppy and greasy. $60 for three burgers, I want to enjoy it. Overall NADC is good, but this location just lacks the things that makes it great. Ambiance, fries, and a smile from the server.

Was super excited to try NADC on my visit to Austin and was met with disappointment. The ordering counter is hidden inside the back of a bar (Idle Hands). The service was quick as there are only 2 options to order. I tried the NADC burger and got the fries beast mode style. While the burger meat was flavorful, this was overshadowed by the basic toppings. The American cheese was melty but the special sauce, jalapeños and pickles were average. The French fries seemed to be the frozen type you buy and lacked seasoning. I really wanted my mind to be blown but overall, an average overpriced burger.

We went to NADC burger on East 6th. We parked a few blocks away on 6th on a Friday night the walk wasn't bad. There was almost no line we were able to order right away. There's not much seating inside or outside the restaurant but we did manage to snag a table outside. The staff was very welcoming! Our orders did take a little while to come out but it was worth the wait. I ordered the NADC Burger and the Beast Mode Fries. Both were delicious. In my opinion they were cooked perfectly! It was everything that I expected. I would def recommend this spot to burger fanatics!

Checked another buzzy spot off the list. NADC burger has been on my list for a long time. First things first. The burger patties itself are an easy 5/5. No. 10/10 (for those who are bad at math.) They are smashed and crispy beyond belief but not burnt. I also love the fact that there are no choices allowed. One burger on the menu. Period. It's also a damn good burger. It's not quite a luxury burger but it's "rich" for sure. Not the burger I want so the time but a good experience. Like a yearly trip, perhaps. The location in the bar is great if you're alley down at Rainey street. As a casual dinner it's a bit harder to park in the area, say for lunch. That being said, the bar is nice and clean and a good double for a restaurant during lunch hours. Drinks are good and service to boot. Water is self service via a filtered machine. The fries were good but not great. Again, a bit of food tourism but not topping the scales of a "must have" for me. I mean, it's no Chilis on 45th and Lamar. IYKYK

I have been hearing about NADC for a weeks now so it was an absolute must that I try it! The location I wanted to try was closed down so I went to the other location near 6th Street at the Parlor! I parked on the street and paid only a couple dollars. The ambiance was very fun and relaxing. They had games you can play on the outside as this is an actual bar with patio! The food both is inside of the bar at the back (not the food truck outside) The staff was very friendly and quick! So I would have to give the food a 3. The burger was good, but i think if you see going to have one option for burger it needs to be nearly perfect! The burger itself was flavorful! The sauce was perfect amount, wasn't dripping off the burger so it wasn't next! But the jalapenos were non extinct I couldn't taste them at all! And maybe the burger could have been on a Texas toast to give it an upgrade. And the meat cooked on the grill! I think having an option to atleast have the basic optics like bacon, mayo, ketchup and mustard should be added to the menu! I ultimately think having three burger options would elevate this restaurant to a 4 or 5. We payed $48 for two single burgers, one regular fries and one upgraded fry. I think that is a bit expensive for a star but I would hope some options could be added to give a higher eating so I could come back

    That's it

Considering the hype and self-advertising, I was both skeptical and wary but hopeful and optimistic about what to expect with this burger. We first tried going to the east 6th location first but it was closed; something broken... so we had to endure the unpleasant experience of going to Rainey st. which no one sane really wants to do, especially because there is virtually 0 parking, and even less of it reasonable parking. The Rainey instance is located inside of Idle Hands bar, and of course we wanted to try everything that we could - fries, cheesecake, etc. We went shortly after they were open but their fry machine wasn't working, and they didn't have any cheesecake... so just the burger, which for 2 came out to $32. Better be a damn good burger. It was fairly quick, mostly because the bar was practically empty, and the burger was fresh and hot - hotter than most burgers or even food at a restaurant I've gotten lately. Honestly and frankly, it was a *good* burger; simple - just burger and some cheese and sauce, bun - but tasty. But without fries it was clearly lacking. And especially for $16 I really don't think it was worth it. If it were a late Friday or Saturday night and I were hungry, you could have given me an In n Out double double and I probably wouldn't have noticed much of a difference, and saved over $10; and even get those fries and a shake.

Since it opened I have seen a line out the building and luckily I went on a Thursday evening and there was no line. Since there's only 3 things on the menu we placed our orders quickly. What makes these burgers special is the fact that it's 100% Waygu beef which I'm assuming is why their burgers are $16. A little too pricey for me but nonetheless, I will try anything once. Thoughts? Definitely a good burger but despite being Waygu beef, tasted the same as a shake shack burger for double the price. I also thought it was too salty. Good but not great. The fries were amazing though along with their (in-house?)Ketchup. I'm glad I tried it and if you're on the fence I say give it a shot. I probably won't be back often because of the price.

    NADC Wagyu Burger

Wagyu, skateboarding, hip-hop from the boom-bap era, and a simple menu? YES, PLEASE! Pros: - Played Wu-Tang - Easy AF Menu - Everything was fresh - Fries: CRISPY - Burger: JUICY - Full bar Side Notes: - Can have long lines - Parking street side - Bar seating can get tight - Outdoor seating available - Takeout orders - Dessert from Wolf & Wheat - Check hours What We Got Done: - 2 x NADC Burgers - Regular Fries - Beast Mode Fries What We Loved: Getting parking was relatively easy as we went after the lunch rush on WED or TH (I forgot), and since we were taking it to go, I circled once to find a spot close to the front. There wasn't a line, but people were waiting inside for their order. It was tight waiting around the counter after you placed your order, as you had a mix of people waiting for their order, to those enjoying their food and a beer. We waited about 10 minutes and got our food fresh. They have quite a workflow system in place; you could smell the freshness, and it didn't disappoint. Plus, I got to hear Wu-Tang and Tribe, so it's not too bad waiting for some Wagyu burgers by a pro skateboarder and a Michelin chef. The burger was damn good. Very rich with the Wagyu, made with that smash style that I've been growing to love, secret sauce, jalapeños, pickles, onions, and American cheese. But the fries, the regular ones, oh so good. They were crispy, and we loved them better than the Beast Mode fries with the same type of toppings the burger has on. Opportunities To Improve: Honestly, I get the pricing, although some may criticize that a burger should always be affordable. People said that about coffee, but Starbucks changed that quickly. However, the last time I checked, a Big Mac didn't use Wagyu, nor was it created by a Michelin-starred chef (you pay for what you get). It's not a big deal, but my partner doesn't like pickles, so we just picked them out and put them in mine. They stick to no customization, so we get it. Summary: It was a memorable burger, for sure. The star for us was the $5 regular fries, haha. Something about getting fries just right, hot damn. The burger was damn good, too, something that reminded me of Jewboy nearby, but very different from that Wagyu. I loved it here and will be back! #boombapera

The p e r f e c t smash burger. This is my ideal "I want trashy food" and it is conveniently located in the back of bar for when you need a little something-something to hold you down for the rest of the night. The burger paired with some freshly seasoned, crisp and chunky fries costs roughly $22 and some change so a lavishly trashy burger if you will. I will say there isn't really a "seating area" for this place. There's like a cramped and stuffy back patio but I opted for a table at the bar instead.
