A claim was filed through Home Depot appliance warranty. This company refused to even come out and assess the situation. Left me waiting multiple times without calling me or answering the phone when I called them. They stated that by unplugging and plugging the washer it would be reset. I even sent them videos proving that the machine was not working and they would not come out. This company is a joke. Once I had another company come out they diagnosed it and fixed the issue right away. read more

I was to have a repair done today for an ice maker that NACE put in. The brand new ice maker was faulty and over produced ice. The employee who was to do the repair called this morning and explained that all he could do is come to my home to INSPECT the ice maker. He could NOT fix it and would have to come back a fourth (4) time with yet another supposed new ice maker. I was very upset that they would NOT have the parts available since this is what they do on a daily basis. I did raise my voice and the employee hung up on me. The employee told a woman named Jessica that I used curse words with him and that's why he hung up on me. That is a lie!! He knows it. The owner is rude. Nave installed a new ice maker 3 weeks ago and called to tell him it would not shut off and was overflowing he said he would check his notes never called back. Called Lowes for another service call the owner of Nace called the morning he should come and said f I get out there and fined nothing wrong you will be responsible for the service charge, he never bothered to read his notes that there is an additional problem. My husband call.ed him back advised he was supposed to call back and he said he didn't want to talk to him and hung up. The worst appliance repair co. We have ever dealt with. read more

I hired NACE to fix an ice maker problem I was having with a Samsung refrigerator. I will not make that mistake again. I would not recommend NACE to anyone, they only care about taking your money and not taking any responsibility when they do something wrong, to heck with the consumer, just have them pay for any mistakes they themselves make. They asked for half the money up front in cash or check, they do not take credit cards, (That should have alerted me) but I am a trusting person. I paid cash, half up front and they ordered the parts that they said were causing the issue. When they arrived to install the parts, they found out that they had ordered the wrong parts. OK things happen, but this is where the problem started. The rep. told me that they would have to charge me more money for the new parts because they could not return the parts they ordered, because NACE opened the box. When I questioned this, they told me that it was not their fault, it was the refrigerator manufacturers fault, and they could do nothing about it. I called Samsung and explained what was going on, they said that they would provide any parts required for free to fix the issue, I would have to pay for the labor to have them installed. They also stated that the model I have does not have any ice maker problems reported in their database. I told them I was working with NACE, so they could send the parts to them, and they let me know that NACE was not on their list of certified repair facilities. NACE told me they were an authorized rep before I gave them any money. The manufacture gave me a name of a certified company in Vero that would come out and fix the issue I was having. I initiated a complaint about this with the better business bureau, NACE then lied to them and told them that I was lying, making up my story, when I was only stating the facts. When the manufactures authorized rep arrived, he looked at the refrigerator and pushed a single button on the front panel of the door. There you go the problem is fixed. No parts, no disassembly of any kind. I paid him the show up charge and I have not had a problem since. I would highly recommend finding any other appliance repair company than NACE, you should also check with the manufacture for yourself, to ensure that you get a rep that is trained and certified on the appliance that you are having the issue with. I did nothing wrong; they ordered the wrong parts, when there was nothing wrong with the original parts in the first place, they then told me they would not refund any of my money. It was not their fault. What a shame. read more

Called Samsung for warranty service, and Nace was the dealer they hooked us up with. The tech arrived a tad later than the time frame given, but not by much. We were called prior to the tech arriving as promised. Turned out the issue with the washer was due to 'user error,' but the tech was extremely thorough in checking everything out, and seemed very knowledgeable of the product. Should I need appliance repair in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to call these guys. read more

Just got the email from them concerning the repair for our dryer. Then I looked at the calendar to remind myself that the length of time it took them to fix our dryer was not completely unreasonable.... except it was. I called Electrolux on March 2 and set up the earliest appointment available, the morning of March 7. I received a call that they, Nace, doesn't offer appointments on Tuesday mornings and I would see a technician that afternoon. That's 5 days between my call and the service appointment; 5 days of them knowing the error code and the probable causes and 5 days of them having the opportunity to make sure they were prepared. The tech's suspicions were confirmed and he left. I called Nace the next day and, when I asked why the tech didn't have the part off he knew the issue, the female I spoke with became short and defensive. I'd get my call when the part arrived. Fast forward to the service call today, more than 2 weeks after I called in the error code. Yes, the tech arrived and fixed the dryer but he was late and it cemented my opinion. If I can help it, I will never use Nace Appliance in Dover and do not suggest you use them either. Customer service is important to me and their's is greatly lacking. Just went to dry my clothes and the dryer is STILL NOT FIXED! read more

Last year we had a refrigerator repaired by a young tech. This is a fridge we use only during the summer months for beverages and the tech knew this. Long story short, we were told it needed a new compressor. Since we had an extended warranty, the repair was completed in the fall. This spring we plugged in the unit and it did not work. We called another repair company for service. This technician told us that we needed a compressor, too. When we told him that one was installed last year he said "the compressor is still from the factory, however, someone did poorly install a refrigerant charge port". So there you have it... we were charged for a repair that was never completed, but rather a half job that lasted long enough for Nace to collect from the warranty company. Reviews from other websites substantiate this company is likely less than reputable. read more

I had an issue with a new appliance and called the manufacturer for a repair under warranty. They sent Nace appliance. Nace came out and i had to leave before they were finished (my wife was there but she's not mechanical). When I got home the ticket said that they reset the faulty part, but did not replace it. I was a little disturbed at that, but figured that if it failed again, they would replace it then. So sure enough it fails again. I call the manufacturer, who says we'll get that fixed for you, and sends Nace out again (what can I say, I figured I'd give them a chance to correct it). I told the manufacturer to make sure they bring the new part. So Nace comes out, replaces the part, doesn't say anything about billing me, and leaves. The next day, nace calls, and says the manufacturer isn't going to pay them (why would they pay them a second time to fix the same issue when they didn't replace the part the first time), and that I'm going to have to. I told nace that I didn't call them to come out, the manufacturer did. He said you are going to pay or we'll take you to collections and hung up on me. Today, I get an asinine bill for about $200 for labor on literally a 2 minute fix that I would have done myself. Keep in mind, I never called these crooks, the manufacturer did. My suspicion is that the manufacturer figured they sent them out on it before (nace probably billed them for the part and labor). So go ahead nace, take me to collections. All you had to do was to call me and tell me that samsung was not paying for it and I would have taken it up wih them. But you don't get to rape me on a two minute repair that involves a screwdriver and a $40 part and charge me more than your service van is worth! Call these idiots at your own risk. read more
