Unique bakery and pizza spot but odd hours and sells out quickly. Prices are similar to Tartine - which is at the high end. I really love this bakery and the vibe and its the perfect place to hang out on a Friday night. This is a unique spot. Offerings are unique - and what I liked most was when I walked through the door I was in a bakery - not some Instagram Tic tok space - that is all too common these days. Things were designed as a place to bake goods and function rather than what might look good on some three second video. If your late expect pizza to be sold out. That alone isn't a problem - it just shows the popularity of the place. I didn't get to try it but I think its probably one of the highlights of the place and people always compare it to Cheeseboard - so that says a lot. Had the focaccia - and wasn't overly impressed with it. I'm honestly not even sure what it is and I looked up that word 'focaccia' already once or twice in a dictionary. I suppose its similar to pizza but just doesn't qualify on some sort of technicality. It's closer to flavored bread than it is pizza. Other items I had were the twice baked cardamom knot and the Bostock. The knot was very dry and I wasn't a fan. It was 'twice baked' so I should have expected something like that. The Bostock was a 10/10. It was a unique croissant loaf if I understand correctly. It had lots of almond flavor and wasn't at all dry. Overall, come for perfect ambiance and know the hours before you come. Desserts can be hit or miss.

Came here to try the pizza! I've always walked by but finally decided to give it a try. The inside is pretty small and you order at a counter and your food is handed to you at a different door they have outside. I ordered one slice and they were pretty quick with it. The flavor that day was a mushroom pizza with corn and kale. The crust was a little thicker than I like for sauce less pizza's, but it was very soft and was balanced out by the amount of cheese and toppings. The toppings were also flavorful! My only complaint is that they were slightly burnt. They gave me a sauce on the side which complimented the pizza nicely. It was pretty spicy, but had great flavor!

    Pizza flavor is different everyday

Yummy pastries & pizza! Good for a quick breakfast or lunch. Ordered a blueberry muffin, strawberry scone, half pizza and they were delicious. Big menu! Can't try all of them this time. Will definitely come back.

I want to order several pizzas to go, can I also get a very large salad to go?

Yes, you sure can. The large salad looks pretty big to my eyes.

The city of Berkeley has brought good pizza recently to San Francisco like Rose Pizzeria. Going to Berkeley I have experienced great pizza places which are not located in SF. Berkeley has some great pizza places such as the Cheeseboard , Pizzeria da Laura and for the best Chicago style pizza at Zachary's Pizza ( actual fresher ingredients than most of Chicago )which both have no locations in SF. There a different pizza spot in Berkeley which serves fresh pizza with local ingredients and there is no spot in SF and it's called Sliver pizza. On a Summer day stroll in the sun in Berkeley I landed at the Telegraph Avenue. Inside there are plenty of seating and they do not accept cash. I ordered their POD also known as Pizza Of the Day. It had the Mushroom, red onions, green scallions , and it had a lemon zest which was sour like some in SF. It was a little cheesy and the sourdough crust was soft. It was tasty and you can taste the field to table ingredients in the pizza. They also have interesting pizza like the Cherry Corn Pizza like I saw on my social media feed. When in Berkeley you must try Sliver Pizzeria. Go to Berkeley for this is a "must" because they have a sourdough "crust" is a "plus" it's not too cheesy and very delicious and leaves some pizza places in SF in the "dust" This pizza place is to eat inside , pick up, and they do "deliver" I rate it more on gold standard side than "silver" fresh ingredients from the "Salinas River" at a pizza place in Berkeley on Telegraph called "Sliver"

The pizza here is so greasy and has way too much cheese that it makes the pizza soggy. They used to have a nice crispy thin crust. Bring back the thin crust and stop adding so much cheese you can't taste the other flavors! Also they don't do the pizza of the day anymore which honestly is a negative not a positive thing because now the ingredients don't taste fresh.

Mind you I guess this was during final season so people steal? Wtf?!? But when we go to this place they ACCUSE ME of stealing the food even after I showed them the order and everything and what not so we had to wait for the next door dasher to literally hand me the food. Two grown men yelling at two young ladies. Totally rude and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend this place to a lot of people. Ambiance wasn't, food was extremely disappointing, and expensive. Do I look like I grow money from my hair, medusa style!?$ Anyways, don't come here for date night, in all aspects this place disappointed me. Thank you.

We were a party of three and definitely over ordered- the Sicilian style Ray J, Truly thin and crispy, and arancini, but zero regrets. The Truly thin and crispy really reminded me of the Ciccino at Truly Pizza in Dana Point, which is my favorite pizza spot in the world! As the name suggests, it's very thin and crispy and I loved the texture. Great as an appetizer pizza lol. Thick square focaccia style pizza is definitely my preference, which is why the Ray J Sicilian was my favorite here. The toppings are generous, love the large chunks of cheese and the hot honey on this one. The arancini we got was also amazing, it had a slight lemony tang to it and some veggies inside which balanced out all the fried cheesiness in it. Would super recommend Pizzeria da Laura, and come in a large party if you can! I think my only downside is the bathroom situation as you have to take a key to take the elevator downstairs and it was hard to get a hold of the key, but maybe try to come at a less busy time. That reminds me, for sure make a reservation for weekends! Super easy to do on their website. Service by everyone was very kind and they were helpful explaining the difference between all their pizzas.
