Vegetable biryani
Joanne S.

Although this is a fast food located in a mall, it's won my business for sure. I love biryani and samosas and this is what I usually order here, no fail. Samosas come with the green dip. Food takes a bit of time to prepare though so little bit of patience is required. They have specials that come with a drink and Naan if you like Masala or Butter chicken.

I've been coming here for years because the food consistently really delicious and it hit the spot , staff is always very welcoming and friendly. I love chicken tikka masala with extra order of plain masala, Vegetable Biryani and fresh naan .

Vegetable biryani, aloo gobhi, plain naan, and mango lassi for only $24.50+tax! Everything was delicious.

Why would you get anything else at the Serramonte food court? It's the cheapest meal AND it's cooked to order. Our veggie biryani was beyond filled to the brim, our aloo gobhi was super delicious, and our mango lassi was only $4! Okay, the plain naan was a bit thick but all four items totalled only $24.50 + tax! Thank you for keeping food delicious and affordable.

Came by on a Monday evening around y pm. I was craving Indian food after I saw this restaurant. I made my way around the food court to see what other food I could have for dinner and decided to go here. I ended up ordering chicken tikka masala combo. It came with rice, naan and a drink. I tipped $1 and so my meal was approximately $17. My food came our fairly quickly! I'd say I waited less than 5 minutes. I'm thinking that perhaps this was one of the most ordered combos and they had some tikka masala already prepared. I sat down and began to eat dinner. I first tasted the chicken tikka masala and was disappointed that the flavors were just not there. It lacked more spices and it was not that tasty and rather bland. I tore into my Naan bread and immediately noticed the bread was a bit tough to tear. I dipped it into the tikka masala sauce and tried the Naan and it was indeed tough. It tasted a bit stale. It wasn't soft and easy to chew. I was too hungry to complain and ended up finishing all of the chicken. On a positive note, the chicken was moist and tender. I just wished the tikka masala sauce had more flavor.

This was a DoorDash order. I got the Chicken Tandoori and the Chicken & Lamb Seekh Kebab. While my expectations weren't very high, this place genuinely surprised me. The tandoori chicken was moist and flavorful, and the kebabs were nicely cooked--not dry at all. The green chutney was a bit stronger than I'd prefer, but overall, it's a solid spot for quick desi food.

Cheap and will quench your craving for Indian food. If you're craving curry, it'll do the job. But don't expect anything incredible. Located inside the food court of Serramonte mall. The prices are cheap but think of food court quality and tasting food. The prawn masala is $11.99 but the prawns were a little iundercooked. The garlic naan is huge but not very fluffy and more on the crispy side. Not a whole lot of garlic flavor. Order at the counter and wait for your order.

Was exhausted after a day of shopping and was craving Indian food. This place had a huge line, so I figure it must be good! My wife and I got the chicken tikka, the lamb kabobs and paneer naan. We waited around 15 minutes for our food, long but they were busy so I figure worth the wait. The lamb kabobs and the curry mix were both amazing!!! The naan is also huge and fresh. Unfortunately, the chicken was dry. Overall kind of underwhelming. I wish they included some chutney, raita or some onions. If the wait was shorter it would have been a solid 4/5.

I order the uber the chicken breast combo but I did not get the sauce dislike please

Chicken Leg Tandoori Combo. Palak Paneer.

I am no expert but I love the Chicken Leg tandoori and curry from here. My husband and I shared the combo and ordered an extra naan plus a Palak Paneer. Servings are generous. We didn't finish the PP and didn't even touch the extra naan. It's located inside the mall food court. It was super busy and loud- but the workers move fast to clean up after diners.

Authentic Indian curry, generous amount of food. Couldn't recommend this place more!!!

Naan - N - Curry never disappoints! Food is always fire! My go to order is the Chicken Tikka Masala combo and an order of chicken tandoori. Service is usually fast!

Unfortunately I couldn't help but to think that this kinda looks like something that goes in a toilet

Not sure if they were pulling a prank on me...Just see the photo and caption. But I was impressed with the tikka masala

5 Stars! I had the Combo Fish today at Naan 'n' Curry in Daly City, and it was absolutely delicious! The fish was perfectly cooked, flavorful, and tender. The rice, naan, and curry sauce complemented it beautifully. I really appreciate that the food is Halal and consistently fresh. The service was great too -- fast, friendly, and welcoming. I'm a regular here and always enjoy the amazing quality of food and service. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for tasty Halal food in Daly City!

F O O D: Fresh, and Occasionally Neon. Let's talk portions: small. But hey, small means fresh,…read moreright? The buffet offers your greatest hits album of Indian food: chicken tikka, dal makhani, the usual suspects. Nothing groundbreaking, but nothing offensive either. I didn't have the lamb curry because the chicken tikka and chicken curry were noteworthy to return to. The chicken pakora was a plot twist: strong flavor but dry and tough. Meanwhile, the gulab jamun arrived swimming in what I can only describe as neon yellow syrup. It looked like it glowed under blacklight, but tasted like heaven. The tikka masala chicken? Tender and juicy. The curry chicken? Dry breast meat that needed a rescue mission. Fortunately, the tamarind and cilantro chutneys were there to save the day, making everything moist and swallowable again. And the samosas were square-shaped (new aesthetic?) but flavorful enough that I forgave the geometry experiment. S E R V I C E: Slow. Like, "I blinked and the server vanished" slow. There was one guy working the entire floor: hosting, bussing, refilling food, and apparently playing hide and seek. I had to hunt him down like a safari expedition every time I needed water refilled. To be fair, he was the only one out there, so I'll cut him some slack. But maybe hire a second person? A M B I A N C E: Showed up at 11:45 AM on a Monday to find this tiny spot (about ten tables) absolutely packed with mostly men on lunch break. The vibe? Christmas balls dangling from the ceiling while smooth jazz plays in the background. It's giving "holiday party at a lounge" and I'm here for it. One mystery I couldn't solve: do I grab a new plate each time I hit the buffet? My hunch is always yes, but the plates weren't being replenished. But I did take a new plate: hygiene. Eventually, I noticed everyone else carrying their naan baskets to the register to pack up, so I did the same. When in Rome! R E S T R O O M: This is where things got interesting. The bathroom was clean and holy surprise, there was a bidet. Actual bidet. Not the travel-sized kind, but a full setup. Is it weird to get excited about bathroom tech at a buffet? Maybe. But also... kinda cool? Would I use it? Honestly, after the neon gulab jamun situation, I wasn't taking chances. But hey, respect for the upgrade. I've been on a quest for an Indian buffet ever since Five Rivers in Westlake closed, and I'm genuinely grateful this place exists. The parking lot is tiny, but street parking is available. Is it perfect? No. Does it scratch the itch? Absolutely.

The gentleman took our order right away at the counter. We ordered Karachi chicken, 1 quarter leg of tandoori chicken, Saag Paneer, garlic butter Naan and basmati rice. As always the Karahi chicken is bursting with flavors. The spices were spot on. I love the cardamom seeds, ginger, tomato sauce, turmeric, I mean I can go on, lol. All these spices does wonder to your health. The tandoori chicken was moist, very tasty with lots of umami flavors. The Saag paneer is one of our favorite and goes well with all the dishes. It actually helps calm the spiciness on the Karahi chicken. It is well made and we enjoyed every bit of it. The Garlic butter naan was crunchy and savory and great with the Karahi chicken sauce and the paneer. We almost ate everything. Only had a little Karahi chicken left and Naan. There is no private parking but all paid street parking except on Sundays. Came on a Sunday evening and it took is about 20 mins to find parking. We parked three blocks away so be prepared and allow time for parking. The restaurant had plenty of seating inside and outside. Good for groups and can make reservations on Yelp. There is outdoor heat lamps on chilly days. The place was busy with lots of people traffic but we were able to sit right way for two people. Service was pretty good but had to flag our server a few times with no issues when we needed something. We ordered mango lassi drinks, jalapeño cheese naan, basmati rice, Chicken Tikka Masala Thali, and Beef Chapli Kabab Sizzler. Only needed a small order of rice as it was already a good portion since we would be full with naan bread. The naan was good by itself and a good portion. It was stuffed with cheddar cheese and spicy jalapeño but better when dipped with the Chicken Tikka Masala Thali. The Beef Chapli Kabab was juicy and flavorful. Have to have this with their green mint chutney so make sure to ask for it. All dishes were a little spicy but not overbearing. The mango lassi drink was very good but I wish it was colder! Hope someone sees this in my review to make that adjustment. ;) Forgot to check in when I was here but had to rate it to share my experience. Good friendly customer service. Very modern and hip place to hang out. Noise level is loud so it can be difficult to hear each other if dining inside. May not be recommended for a date.
