Downgraded to two stars for making me wait over 1/2 an hour for fried chicken and French fries. There's an issue with their text system letting customers know their food is ready when it is not. AFTER receiving a text saying my food is ready, I left my house. The food wasn't ready when I got there. It happened to a lot of other customers too as there was a crowd when I walked in. The exorbitant wait times are unnecessary if their system was working correctly as I would have waited at my house. So I'm standing there, for OVER 1/2 an hour. My bucket of chicken is sitting on the counter and the fries wasn't ready. It shouldn't take over 1/2 an hour to make French fries but somehow they accomplished it. When they finally called my number, my chicken is now room temperature. I ask the front person to please replace my cold bucket of chicken. The guy touched the cold bucket and threw it in the trash. They were going to serve me cold chicken if I didn't say anything. Horrible. At least the spicy chicken is good. Crunchy with the right about of spice. The 10 piece meal comes with gravy to dip the fried chicken in. The fries were meh. Undercooked. That went in the trash, as I now despise Jollibee French fries. Subpar. The restaurant was dirty with garbage cans overflowing and crumbs on the tables from the last customer. read more

UPDATE ON REVIEW - PLEASE READ. Make sure you watch your orders cause no one else is paying attention. Here took 20 minutes because they forgot to put the food in cooking. The management reached out also to mock my clear warning for people to watch their clocks at this establishment. They also criticized my lack of food review, if they were at all engaged with their staff they would know that I actually never even received the food that I ordered, they offered me other items that were sitting in the window that was probably somebody else's Instead of being a responsible manager or business owner and invite me back for an actual good experience they mocked the people who come and spend their money to keep their doors open! I've eaten at this Jollibee before and it's usually pretty good. It was also good this last time, just not great. I ordered a Deluxe Chicken Sandwich Meal for $11.49, and paid an extra $1.00 for a pineapple mango quencher and some ranch. My drink was fantastic and probably my favorite thing on the menu. It's worth trying if you haven't had it. The chicken sandwich was bursting with fresh produce, and had a nice crispy piece of chicken on it. My fries were a bit of a disappointment. They weren't hot, or even very warm, and just tasted off. I kept thinking of cardboard every time I took a bite. Ugh... I went through the drive-through and the cashier was easy to understand. I ordered lunch a bit early so it took them a few minutes to prepare it. An employee brought it out to my car when everything was ready. Bad fries aside, it was a pretty good visit. read more

LOL,it's funny this place has been here in Daly City for about 20 years and i never thought to come here until last year when i saw all these young YouTubers doing videos. But i never had the sweet&hot dog spaghetti that's a no- no lol. The service was always great they were fast and very nice getting the food to you fast. The place was always pack and very neat and clean. I never used the bathroom, but my cousin said was clean lol. I have been here about four times, and i won't be coming back unless my cousin comes and maybe i will try out the new burgers they have? The first two times the food was hot and fresh, but i didn't like the sides they have, Mac&cheese tastes like the box you get in the store lol. it tasted cardboard no flavor. lol,the mash potatoes were a nope and the coleslaw was just OK i had better. Now the rice i had last time was good and loved the large fries with little salt and the gravy was good. The spicy chicken and biscuit were always hot and fresh just like i like it.the last time i came here about month ago it wasn't great service or the food wasn't good! the chicken was burnt as you can see by the picture i took. The new spicy Avocado chicken wasn't even HOT and the bun was cold and stale WTF! I CALLED the place and spoke to Jane the Manger who was very nice i told her what had happened she said just come back when you are able to. So i came by last night and it was hella pack with people eating and waiting for their food to go. I had to wait ten minutes to speak to the Manger, and im glad Jane was here, and I'm glad because she remembered the phone call we had a month ago. she was able to replace my chicken and i got the pies instead of getting my money back from the nasty chicken spicy sandwich that wasn't even hot,and the extra rice i never ordered. But those peach & mango were so yummy. I had one last night after my dinner and this morning i will have for breakfast with coffee lol. So if you have been here yet or you have? and they mess up ur ordered just speak to the Manger Jane she will help you out. I was so excited when they announced they had chicken nuggets. We loved them when we were in the Philippines. The nuggets here are nothing like the ones in PI. These were mostly batter and barely any chicken. Each "nugget" was a different size. The tiny ones were the size of dice. My photo somehow make the nuggets look big, which they weren't at all. What a huge disappointment and waste of money. read more

Jollibee is my favorite fast food, fried chicken joint. We usually order the 6 piece bucket that comes with 3 pieces of thighs and 3 pieces of drumsticks and a cup of gravy which was more than enough for us 2. On our recent visit we placed an online order to be picked up at 5pm on thanksgiving day. Yes, they are open on this holiday. When we arrived at 5:15pm, our order was not ready despite the app said it was by 5pm. Understandably they were very busy on this holiday. We usually have really good fried chicken. But on this day we immediately smelled burnt chicken when we received our order. Sure enough the skin smelled and tasted slightly burnt. I think it's time for them to change their oil. Do ask for utensils and plates if you choose to dine in. I like to bring disposable gloves from home. Note, currently they are offering $5 off $10 purchase if you are a new user to the app or $10 off $45 purchase. read more

Pros: - Conveniently located in a plaza for easy parking - Drive thru available - Consistency well-cooked crispy fried chicken - Plenty of indoor seating I used to use the drive-thru but have since began ordering online to collect points/rewards, and pick up inside is fast and convenient (just show your order to staff off to the right of the front counter) Everything is always well packed, generous with utensils, and food is piping hot, no soggy chicken in sight. What to get? - I recommend their spicy chicken (thighs are my favorite piece), we usually get the 8pc or 12 pc ChickenJoy Meal deal which comes with spaghetti and mango pies - They also recently started selling an Ube Coconut Freeze specialty drink... stronger on the coconut side but the ube is there and I loved it. Would get again. We also tried the limited time Saucy Korean BBQ, soy garlic glaze. I thought it was too saucy and salty for my taste. Chicken ended up being quite soggy for something that was hand-dipped. But I can see people liking this one a lot because it was giving Maangchi's Korean Fried Chicken recipe - if you've ever tried that. It's sweet, salty, garlicky with a hit of gochujang read more

I hear a lot about Jollibee's but only now have I tried it. Basically a fast food fried chicken restaurant--service is fast, choice of original or spicy chicken & choice of sides (mac n cheese, spaghetti, mashed potatoes, fries, adobo rice, etc.). Choice of dine in or takeaway. It is well lit and clean. This location is located in a large shopping center, so after grocery shopping, you can stop by for a bite to eat. Plenty of parking too. Chicken is very tasty, the spicy has a nice kick, but may be too spicy for anyone with low tolerance. If you order 50/50, there are little flags marking the spicy pieces. I love the dipping the chicken in the gravy. The spaghetti side is my favorite. I think Jollibee chicken is good and in my opinion better than Krispy Krunchy & KFC. Overall, it was a good dining experience and while I can't eat this on any regular basis, this was good would eat it again. read more

I read somewhere that Jollibee has the best fast food fried chicken. After trying it, I would say it's not the best (still think Popeyes is the one to beat), but Jollibee is solid. They currently have holiday meal deals! A bucket of 6 pieces fried chicken, 2 sides and 2 sodas is $20. Note, the spicy chicken here is very spicy! Regular sides are mashed potatoes, fries, coleslaw and biscuits. Beware of getting upsold (eg spaghetti and Mac and cheese cost $1.50 more a side!) Location is convenient here and they share a large parking lot with Lucky supermarket and Starbucks. Inside is also very clean and new. Even for a Sunday breakfast, a handful of people were eating fried chicken :) read more

What can I say? It's a Jollibee. There's times this place gets busy and times it's dead. And when its busy it's quite loud and so the cashier has a hard time understanding the order correctly. The food is delicious for fast food albeit on the expensive side of things. I wish they'd have more affordable options as this place is really more like a treat given their prices. If this is your first time, make sure to try classics like Chicken Joys and burger steaks. Skip the spaghetti if you don't like your pasta sweet. Get a palabok instead. Lastly, you gotta get a peach mango pie and some pineapple quencher. You won't regret it! read more

I love coming to this location! They've recently renovated, and the updates look great both inside and out. While the drive-thru and dining area can get quite busy, I usually prefer to park and head inside to beat the line. My go-to order is the Chickenjoy and spaghetti meal--the chicken is incredibly juicy and pairs perfectly with the gravy, and the spaghetti has that signature sweet sauce and sliced hotdogs I love. Plus, the staff is very friendly and diligent about keeping the tables clean. read more

Our first time really trying Jollibee fried chicken. Friends keep telling me how much they like the fried chicken. We ordered a bucket to take home, 1/2 spicy, 1/2 regular. The spicy is pretty spicy, I wouldn't order spicy again as I'm not a fan of real spicy chicken. The regular is OK, crispy exterior and well seasoned meat. It comes with 2 small containers of brown gravy which taste good over mashed potatoes or rice. The fried chicken is better than KFC but I still prefer Popeye's. Also tried one of the drinks with freeze dried dragonfruit. Liked the dragonfruit but not the drink. Would be better if they had a Calamasi drink. This was like a sweet Koolaid. read more

I usually go to Jollibee since it's close to me, but my recent visit on April 12 was a bit disappointing. I ordered the 6-piece bucket (half spicy, half original), and the chicken pieces seem smaller than before. The spicy chicken is actually spicy though, the flavor goes into the meat, which I like. Service was okay, but the online order system needs work. The in-store screen only shows orders placed at the counter, not online ones, which made pickup confusing and chaotic. People were cutting in line and asking about orders because the app said "ready" when it wasn't. Overall, still good food, but smaller portions and the messy pickup experience make me consider trying another location next time. read more

I had a disappointing experience at Jollibee Daly City, particularly with the customer service provided by David. We stood in front of the cashier for almost 10 minutes, waiting for someone to take our order. There was already a line behind us, yet our order was not taken until we finally asked David to assist us. When we asked him to take our order, he sighed, which made us feel unwelcome. I understand that the restaurant can get busy, but being busy should not mean ignoring customers or making them feel like an inconvenience. A simple acknowledgment and a more respectful attitude would have made a big difference. I hope management can address this issue and remind staff about the importance of being attentive, respectful, and professional, even during busy hours. read more

Weekday lunch, super quick service. The combo menu prices reflect if you choose to get a foundation drink. Ordered 2 piece chicken combo with sweet spaghetti, no drink just water ($13.72 with tax). Got my order quick for dine in, chicken pieces were fairly large. The meat pretty much melted off the bones, dipped in some gravy for more flavor. The sweet spaghetti will make you full, each bite had sauce and enough vienna sausages. The dining area was super clean as well. This place is rather not bad and I always resort to this for comfort food. Their chicken bucket is juicy and delicious. I know many people have various concerns but this place I have ordered 20 times over and they remained consistent. I personally prefer the spicy with the little flags on top but sometimes my dog ate some of my takeouts so having regular plain fried chicken is my go to. They packaged well for SF's winter/spring raining days as well. I pass on the various freeze drinks because they taste too chemical but Daly City location is the only one offering coffee freeze favors. Mission is closer and more efficient. Real solid experience at this Jollibee location. We ordered a bucket of the limited edition Korean fried chicken and it did not miss! The 10 piece was around $34, which seemed a little pricey for chicken. But upon further inspection, these were jumbo sized pieces of chicken! I can eat a lot and I was down for the count after only 2 pieces. The flavor was also on point - spicy, tangy, slightly sweet and crunchy. We ordered through the drive through and was able to use our $5 of $10+ coupon which helped cut the price down a bit. The service was no nonsense and efficient, just the way I like it. We were asked to pull forward and wait for our bucket, which wasn't a problem because parking was ample. Our bucket came out hot and fresh within 5 minutes. Overall experience was probably a 4/5 but I have to knock em down a star because the price stung a little more than the hot fire chicken did. Still Yummy Certified read more

Ordered drive thru and was told that part of the order of spicy chicken and fries was not ready, so was asked to wait in front of the restaurant for someone to bring it out. After waiting 10 min in the parking lot, I walked in to check on the status and was told the spicy chicken was still being made. Then I see trays of spicy chicken come out and I am trying to flag down someone to check on my order. After waiting 20 min for my order, I was finally able to get a manager's attention and told her that I've been waiting 20 minutes and it was totally unacceptable. She apologized and provided a couple mango/peach pies gratis and went to the drive thru section to retrieve my order instead of grabbing the freshly made spicy chicken, which confused me because I thought I was waiting for the spicy chicken. How long was my order sitting there? Then I got home to discover that I was given the wrong order - it was original chicken. WTF?! I waited 20 min to get the wrong order. I recommend not ordering drive thru but instead ordering inside. Personally, I'm not going back. read more

Winner winner chicken dinner! Jolliebee is some of the best and consistent chicken spots anywhere. I love the brine that makes it juicy and flavorful down to the bone. The crust is crispy and the perfect amount of batter. I love the dark meat that has more fat and flavor. The bone-in chicken is so good, I was a little "chicken" to try their new tenders. It's so similar to Raising Canes, if I was blind folded I would not know the difference. The original sauce is just like Cane's. I'm not a fan of the tenders, but my son loved it. (As I write this, it's Christmas Eve day.) My friend from Japan texted and reminded me that it's fried chicken time. So today, having a hankerin', I got fried chicken. Here's the back-story. It is now traditional in Japan to have fried chicken on Christmas Day. It's all due to one incredibly brilliant marketing ploy, a clever move of deceit and good ol' fashion American pop-culture hegemony. Decades ago, a Kentucky Fried Chicken advertising mastermind duped the Japanese people into believing that the American national Xmas holiday dish of choice was fried chicken, much like turkey for Thanksgiving. As for the Japanese, being fond of American ways, ate it right up and so on Christmas day, millions of Japanese preorder meals from KFC just to be in line with American tradition. Consequently, Japan now has its very own Christmas tradition, KFC fried chicken meals. Oh, as for the picture, I don't like KFC, but the Filipinos have their own fried chicken chain, Jollibee, and in my opinion, is superior. read more
