This location has been engaging in deceptive pricing per my experience today nickel and diming customers without their knowledge unless someone like me reads the fine print and questions them on it. I ordered #24 on the menu the Supreme Sourdough Combo which clearly shows $7.49 on the drive thru menu board. When the cashier rung it up on the register the price was $8.29 before tax. When I asked him if he could honor the price posted on the board he stated he couldn't. This is clearly fraud being perpetrated on the local community. I ordered here last night and it totally ruined my perspective on Jack in the box. My wife is pregnant and we got food from the store and it was during night time. Jack In The Box is one of my favorite restaurant chains, and has been for years (remember the commercials with Rodney Allen Rippy?). I don't know how they've been able to continuously expand their menu to the point where you can get breakfast for dinner and vice versa! THIS is the main selling point of Jack In The Box for me. And also Curly Fries. :-D I usually use the app (absolutely one of the best fast food apps out there!), collect my food at the Drive-Thru, and chow down in the parking lot. But from what I remember of the inside, it's cozy and has a readily accessible soda fountain. Since I order from the app, my food's always ready when I reach the Drive-Thru window. The staff has always been polite in the years I've been coming here. My food's always been cooked-to-order, except maybe one or two times when I got some lukewarm Curly Fries, but those are rare exceptions to the rule. Are here this past thanksgiving 2022. Bought the $8 meal boxes for myself and some friends. They had the cheeseburger version and I had the spicy chicken nacho sandwich. Boy was that a mistake. The guy at the drive thru was quick to say "nope" to some questions - I get it, you don't want to be there. Not that big of a deal, as poor service is somewhat expected. The kicker is - I got FOOD POISONING from the spicy nacho chicken sandwich. I was inkling something was off since the sandwich wasn't piping hot, but rather like warm. We were actually defrauded from your store. We live in AZ and haven't been out of the state since 2022. Certainly not to Daly City, CA. Someone hacked the silly password for the app, placed a $57+ order and requested delivery. When received a confirmation of order from the app to your store, we immediately called the store to notify them we had not made the order and we were out of state. We were told by a staff member that the food had not been delivered yet, that he'd contact the delivery and get it stopped. None of that happened. The order was delivered. We can't afford eggs; we sure the shit can't afford $57 for fast food. When we called the SECOND time, the staff member put the phone down in search of a manager. Another staff member standing near by exclaimed that the same thing had happened "last week". It sounds like this might be a problem for both your store and the chain. Tacos no longer as filling, while the taco shells are much harder. There's a "no loitering" 30-minute time limit to stay though they don't impose it. This location is smaller than it seemed. The drive-thru's "one-way" exit has a lane for the pickup window and another lane for cars to bypass. However, it faces School Street at a 3-way intersection with El Camino Real. read more

The business manger contacted me shortly after leaving this review and offered me a voucher for a meal to make up for the advertisement that was no longer valid but left up in the front window facing the street in clear plain view. He told me it would take 10 business days to receive the voucher. Unfortunately that was almost 1 month ago and I have yet to receive such voucher in the mail, even after providing them with the correct mailing address and having it verified. Originally I felt the issue was addressed properly and handled well, but after waiting this long and still not receiving the offer to address my underlying issue I feel that this specific location is not customer oriented and instead focused on profits at the expense of customer satisfaction, and overall customer trust. The other well known, and established burger restaurant, with a female mascot, on the same street has provided me with a much higher level, higher quality of service, and still beating out this Jack in The Box's price point. Matt was at this JITB for 2 straight nights after he got off work. Matt, who doesn't do fast-food often, was here just for the milk-shake for the 2 nightly visit. After an exhausted 10 hour shift, this JITB has a drive-thru, and Matt was daring enough to order his meal thru the rough neighborhood's fast-food restaurant. Matt was in the holiday-spirit, so he ordered the Egg-Nog Milkshake the first night. The regular size Egg-Nog shake was ok for $2.49, but Matt was better off buying a bottle of egg-nog from a corner-store. The second night, Matt ordered the Pumpkin-Spice Milkshake. The Pumpkin shake was better and tastier than the egg-nog one. Both of the shakes were topped with Whipped-cream and a Marachino-Cherry on top. How cute!!
