I really enjoy this place! Especially because of their happy hour menu and the margaritas are delicious! I stepped outside my comfort zone and ordered the Yuca fries, I opted for no pork so it wasn't much flavor to work with. But my friend ended up finishing them and she thought they were delicious. However, the empanadas are personally my favorite, so I will stick to those next time. Also the service here is amazing, they really make sure you're well taken care of even if you decide to sit all the way on the patio outside lol. Such a cute place to get some great pics inside and outside! I really love the decor and earth tone colors, makes you feel like you're in a beautiful garden!

Great ambience! We had an a great meal out on the patio. The inside was so cute too- I especially loved all the plants that were all around the interior. The service was great and the staff was super friendly. The food was delicious. We had poutine fries and the tuna tacos. Both were fresh, flavorful and delicious.

I went back again as this time it was for my birthday. Again, they are so sweet to me. The bartender make the excellent avocado margarita which I love. I enjoyed the salad and shrimp cerviche. It was top notch. I did went there on Monday around 5 30 and I was the only one but it didnt bother me because I love quiet with hint of music. I enjoyed it.

Our first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed it from the food to the service. Our only disappointment was we did not want to sit at the bar, and we asked the hostess and even in our reservation to be seated at a table or a half booth. When we arrived she said that they were all reserved and the entire 2 hours we were there they were empty tables all over the place. If a customer asks to be seated elsewhere other than the bar I've never seen a restaurant not accommodate that unless it's standing room only. It's a small quaint restaurant that we will definitely come back to enjoy.

Naive has one of the best patios in Louisville. The giant weeping willow makes it feel so intimate and fun with a secret garden vibe. The menu rotates with the season and availability of fresh produce and meats. Flavors are unique and thoughtfully curated for the ultimate culinary experience. Whether it's a date night, dinner with friends, or showing off to out of town friends, naive is the spot, especially in the warmer months so you can enjoy the patio.

Had an incredible meal on the beautiful patio at Naive! The highlight for me was the amazing service and avocado margarita - an absolutely delicious, light and somewhat creamy margarita -, but all food was delicious, fresh, and unique as well. The Pavlova was a disappointment - but I was overly excited because when i saw this on the menu I was transported to summers at my grandmothers house. Pavlova was a specialty of hers, and like most recreations of iconic family foods, this wasn't what I expected. The sauce and whipped cream didn't work for me, though the texture of the meringue was perfect! If you don't have a past with this dessert, you should try it!

Been to Naive a handful of times for happy hour, and it's incredibly good and amazingly priced. I highly recommend the Yuca Fry Poutine, though a warning that it is quite spicy. The margarita is also tasty, and they have a good sauv blanc on their happy hour menu as well. When the weather is nice, the patio is gorgeous, and the interior boho modern design is beautiful as well (I got a lot of inspiration for my own home design). Have always had great and speedy service. Looking forward to next time!

My favorite happy hour in the city! Great variety of small plates and drink options. My service is always great, whether if I am solo or with a group.

This is our second time paying them a visit, we came for our anniversary dinner! The food was absolutely delicious in every way from our drinks to our entrees to our desserts. Wonderful service and such a great ambiance to enjoy a great dinner!! Can't recommend this place enough!!!

Have been a few times over the last several months. The food is inspired by South and Latin America. Started the meal sharing a bunch of apps across a large group. The Queso Fundido and taco Ceviche were top picks alongside a spicy margarita, which was more sweet and lacking some of the expected spice. For mains, we tried the hangar steak and pork shoulder. The steak was really delicious and tender. The pork shoulder was more like a pile of pulled pork. Both could have benefitted from sides. In terms of price, it was pretty economical for the combo of drinks, apps, and entrees. Services was fine. Last time we went they were rushing us a bit. This last time, the restaurant was empty, so we could slow down a bit.

Fun, flirty, really freaking good margaritas. Naive is everything I wanted it to be in more. I think this is one of the best spots in the city to just sit and drink and eat with friends. Bar service was great. Both food and drinks were outstanding. The overall vibe is a 10/10. It was tempting not to order the whole menu. The empanadas were our favorite thing we ordered. We also got the Oaxacan queso, which was incredible, but note that it has to be eaten pretty fast or it'll congeal into one giant cheese blob (not that that stopped me from still eating it)

This place is very cute and small. We went on a Saturday morning and it wasn't terribly busy. That should have been the first clue. We ordered the cinnamon roll which was good. The entrees the breakfast burrito and sandwich left a lot to be desired. I wish I had taken a photo because it didn't even present well. Burrito was very dry and cracked after it had been wrapped. The bun on the breakfast sandwich was also dry and cracked where the top was mostly flaked off. The egg was scrambled on one side and all the bacon on the other. It was a mess. Very small egg and bacon pieces falling out. The side of potatoes with the sandwich and the potatoes in the burrito were warm but VERY hard but not inedible.

Stopped by for last minute lunch while in town for the holiday and did not disappoint. Lots of seating inside and it looked like there was a huge outdoor space as well (worth going back to find out). Huge bar selection and gorgeous surroundings. Even have a big basket full of blankets in case the margaritas don't warm you up enough ;). Changing table in the bathroom. The dates came with 3 in the serving but I could've polished off about 20 of them. So simple yet elevated by the jam and cook method. Had a few bites of my friends Relleno Sandwich and will be going back to get the entire thing. I had the smash burger which you can't go wrong with but am eager to try other items on the menu based on what I had. We were sat immediately and each dish was brought by hand from the chef. Cannot recommend enough.

We started with a Paloma recommended by Ethan (bartender and apparently low-key rockstar). It was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and an excellent recommendation.. We chatted mezcal, music, and more--Ethan's the kind of bartender who makes you feel like a regular on your first visit. Got to talk mezcal with the owner, John, who's clearly passionate and seriously knowledgeable. He shared stories about sourcing, traveling, and working directly with producers. Learned more in 10 minutes from him than I have from any spirit tasting I've done. I walked in around 5:15pm on a monday night, with plans for a friend to join me around 5:30. The sign at the host station said to wait to be seated. So I waited. And waited. and waited... Folks walked in after me, waited for a bit and then sat themselves at the bar. But I did not want to sit at the bar, we wanted to sit at a table. The server seemed to be willfully ignoring me and avoiding my attempts at eye contact. The bartender was taking care of everyone at the bar as well as making drinks for the rest of the patrons too, he saw me eventually and was looking around for the server or (nonexistent?) host to help me out. The bartender ultimately told me that I could just seat myself wherever I wanted, so I did. There were maybe 3 table seated at this point, it was not that busy. Then it took yet another chunk of time (6 pages read in my book I never leave home without) before I got water and menus. I was frustrated but was looking forward to seeing my friend and was ready to make the most of it. All that said, I like the vibe of the space. The dark, cozy vibes. We came because we wanted cocktails and something to nosh on. And eventually we got that. We shared a flatebread and an Asian-inspired hushpuppy sort of situation. They were pretty tasty and nice to have with our cocktails. The cocktail list is longer than expected and with a lot of intriguing sounding offerings. The two I had were very tasty and delicious! I would maybe come back again and sit at the bar so a solo visit if I had a stretch of time and no rush. My overall memory of the visit is still about the over-long wait/being ignored for such a long time after entering.
