Even the owner goes out of their way to be kind, personable, and welcoming. Their wines are amazing and delicious. Very high quality, and very reasonably priced. They regularly create new styles and batches, so definitely ask what's new when you visit. They also host fun special events that make the experience even better. One thing I really love is that you can bring in your own food. They do also offer charcuterie boards that are absolutely delicious, although they sometimes sell out because they're so popular. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and truly feels like home. Everyone here is genuinely friendly, which is rare to find these days. I always leave in a better mood than when I arrived. Highly recommend. p.s. Make sure your GPS gives you the right address. Occasionally, it will take you to the wrong location.

It's basically a wine gastropub with New American Cuisine that has worldwide influences. Inside is pleasantly furnished with plenty of wine bottles on multi level display shelves to set a wine lounge atmosphere. I sat at the bar for informal noshing. I'm a sucker for "Buffalo" burgers which are actually Bison. The Tombstone sliders are meaty, moist, lean with gooey, melted, apple wood smoked cheddar cheese, soft, caramelized, sweet onion, slice of roasted tomato & Dijon mustard Aïoli (ah ee oh lee). Arrugula leaves mentioned in the menu was missing in action. Very tasty and 2 for $15 in our inflationary times of 2025. Got a glass of house red wine that went well with the Bison sliders. Couldn't eat more than that since I ate the humongous Jackfruit Burrito at Modern Tearoom earlier for late lunch. The Complexity menu has a fairly tight menu featuring typical New American hits: Charcuterie, Fromagerie, 10 apps, 12 mains, 10 sides for the mains. Bar seating afforded me a pleasant conversation with an older gentleman who was into formula one racing cars. Staff service is competent, friendly enough & functional, not particularly punctuated by small town charm. 4- stars

Since it was our first visit, we walked up to the bar and explained that we're not IPA fans and asked if we could sample a few beers. The staff was super friendly and happy to let us try different options. We ended up really liking the Waterfront Lager and ordered micheladas. Their michelada mix is AMAZING. The Palmdale location is drinks only (no food), but the atmosphere and service made for a really fun night. Fast forward to yesterday. My husband and I had a date night and remembered how much we liked the beer, so we decided to check out the Lancaster location since they also serve food. When we walked in, the place was packed and there were only two girls working the entire floor. Even though they were clearly super busy, they were still very friendly and upfront that there would be about a 15-minute wait for a table. We appreciated the honesty, so we waited patiently and eventually got seated. We found out that the Lancaster location doesn't always have the same beers as the Palmdale brewery location, so unfortunately they didn't have the Waterfront Lager we loved. We were a little bummed, but our waitress gladly brought us samples so we could find something else we liked. We ended up ordering a lighter blonde beer since many of the others were too hoppy for our taste. We also tried their handmade mango and pineapple micheladas and WOW! both were so good. The food was delicious too. We ordered the totchos (loaded tator tots), 6-piece hot wings, and the Asian sliders. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. Even though they were slammed busy, the waitresses continued checking on us regularly throughout the night. Overall, it ended up being a really great date night. The ambiance is casual, fun, and welcoming, and both locations gave us excellent service. Lucky Luke is definitely going to become one of our regular date night spots moving forward!

The Korean chicken sliders were amazing, there were 2 but it was more than enough.

After spending the day at Willow Springs Raceway, it has always been a tradition to eat at Baracoa afterwards for the past couple of years now. We all love their dishes. The oxtail is raved about, service is always excellent, vibes are great esp on live music nights. This time around, we had a slightly larger party since there were more of us at the raceway this day and we were excited for our friends to finally try Baracoa. We've always had maybe 1 or 2 dogs with us and so we'd sit out on the patio. These dogs are quiet and obedient. They just lie under the table at your feet and are never restless & never beg/bark/whine. Since we had a larger party and now 3 dogs with us, maybe it drew more attention? Our waiter said that he will have to ask the boss if it's okay that we have dogs since usually it's policy to not have dogs on the premises. We were so confused since we've been coming here. The boss/owner/manager, I can't remember exactly his title, came outside and let us know that unfortunately, pets are not allowed, even on the patio. We were all taken aback with nothing to say except having dropped jaws as he was walking away. Before he completely left our sight, we asked when that became a policy since we have always been here with dogs. He said it's always been a rule and cannot speak for his employees and the decisions they make when he's not there. He goes on to state that the pets are unclean and that he has customers. In that moment, I thought, "What are we then? Have we never been customers?" With a firm tone, he asked us to cooperate. It would have been a different kind of feeling if this boss had said ANYTHING along the lines of, "We would love to have you back to dine with us, but please without your dogs." This interaction felt like major rejection, hate towards pets, and to just get out immediately. We had already ordered 3 cortado frios, which I always think is to-die-for here, and that will be our last sips from them. It was also way more sweet than strong this time, sadly. We will not be returning to this establishment.
