Great selection! They were short staff when I was there, but it didn't take away from the great service given. Welcoming environment the store workers greet you upon entering. Not only do they have the drinks, but snacks like chips, olives, juices etc. you can easily be in here for an hour just browsing the select they have to offer. read more

Went to BevMo tonight. My friend and I are almost 70. Th ry changed the lanes on how to get to the register. We accidentally moved the cone things. Well Milo. Yelled at us to put the cones back. I've been to this location many times and have always been pleased. It's well stocked and I've always found what I needed. Tonic can sometimes be in short supply, but there's usually some to be found somewhere, even if only in small six-pack cans. The location reorganized the interior about a year ago, and the new layout offers even more variety, including snacks and other food. I will continue to frequent this location! read more

I have been a BevMo customer for years (20+) and have an account. I was at the Palmdale, California store to buy some Bombay gin (2 large bottles). When I got to the counter, I felt insulted that I was expected to show ID. I am a senior citizen of 75 and I am not willing to present my ID to buy alcohol. I find it insulting and demeaning, not to mention that it is discrimination. I had never been asked for ID before when I purchased alcohol. I called over the manager (a woman) and she said ID was required. Needless to say, I told her to keep the two $28 bottles of gin and said I was heading to Walmart, where they do not ID people if they appear to be over 40. What are you going to do about this? Just because BevMo is now owned by a different company (GoPuff - a tech company), does not mean your service should not be the same as before. RIGHT. Well BevMo will not get my business anymore unless changes are made to Senior Citizen being carded. read more

I'm having many problems with this store manager KIM, she couldn't explain to me why after I put in my $10 discount that the price didn't change, she had attitude when I gave her none! I tried to be as professional with her because I truly was concerned that the coupon didn't make a difference to the computer screen, she kept telling me the $10 tax is what's showing but I seen the tax before giving the coupon and she couldn't explain it ,just kept telling me it's the tax! as if I'm dumb! My husband and I have been shopping at Bevmo for years. We are always willing to show our ID, however you can't scan it. Today, we left everything which totaled well over at the checkout. I arrived at 8:57pm to buy happy dad seltzer only to just find out from another employee that they are closed and cannot provide service to us because registers were turned off at 8:55pm. I came by to pick up some sours, which are pretty difficult to find in the AV. I brought a bag as i dont like wasting plastic. When i came to the door there were no carts in storage, or else i would have grabbed one. As im inside looking at sours i found one i wanted and went to keep it in my bag while i looked for more. Immediately a young caucasian woman confronted me and told me i could not put products in my bag, she then proceeded to snatch the sours out of my hand. I told her that i would have just put the product in a cart if there were carts available but she didnt seem to care. She then proceeded to hoover down the aisle while i finished my selection. Honestly, it made me uncomfortable and i felt compelled to rush my selection. I didnt really have a chance to do research on the rest of the sours. Just a wierd and hostile interaction that could have been completely avoided if there were carts available. Dissapointing, i hope it doesnt happen again. read more

The policy this store has of checking the ID of the person who is obviously NOT buying alcohol, especially when that person is VERY obviously over 21 is bordering on harassment...husband and I are both 45+ years old and they refused to sell him alcohol with his ID unless I had an ID as well, I was NOT purchasing the alcohol! This is straight up harassment, and is something this store has an ongoing issue with in the past. I recommend ANY bevmo but this particular store. You will leave feeling stressed and discriminated against if you come here. I was reminiscing on my past two summers in Hawaii and having wailua wheat (passion fruit) beer on tap from Kona Brewing Company... so I decided to search for places on the mainland that sell bottles of Kona Brew. When I discovered Bevmo had the seasonal beer in stock, I was ecstatic!!! Since it was already September, this beer was already off of the shelves. I found a location in Irvine that had it, ordered it online, and had my sister pick it up... when she got there... I was disappointed to find out that they didn't actually have it in stock. The wailua wheat and pipeline porter share the same sku#, so it was actually the pipline porter that was in stock. After calling several stores to double check if they in fact had wailua wheat, Bevmo in Palmdale did!! I asked them to hold a few cases for me and had my friend from Lancaster pick them up for me. I'm so thankful that the employee I spoke with was willing to hold them for my friend to purchase that same day. I'm a fan! read more

I was bothered while shopping, not by helpful staff to ask if I was finding what I was looking for, but with staff trying to push a delivery app for their new "food market". I'm very disappointed in the customer service here for a 2nd time so now I MUST say something. I've been a member for some times now but I only come to this store when I need to find something new. I don't like to step into an establishment and feel like my questions are a burden when this is literally the place that holds classes in order to share information. Bevmo just raised their prices, again. They are far more expensive than some of their competitors. Even with their $10 off coupon, their prices are outrages. example: Highland Park 12 $62.99 (bevmo on sale) Total Wine $49.99 Lagavulin 16yr $92.99 (bevmo on sale) a few competitors including TW $62.99 just a few...they were always expensive, but they just raised their prices. And they said I needed to buy At least $2000 worth for it to be delivered? Ridiculous, I believe the manager was trying to make his sales for the day. I wish they had BevMo's in New York...I will be a fan forever, I somehow ended up on a coupon mailing list. They say that they randomly get sent out...I think that if you make a large purchase with a coupon then they keep sending it to you. So their 5 cent wine sale just ended, they have them all of the time but they just switch up which bottles of wine are on sale. You buy one bottle for full price and get the second one for 5 cents, it is a GREAT deal and enables you to try different wines that you might not normally want to. Anyways, I received a $15 off of $100 wine purchase....saw the 5 cent wine sale was about to end, asked a co-worker if he wanted to split a large wine purchase, he was in...so off I went. I ended up getting 20 bottles of wine for about $135...I literally saved more money on the wine I purchased than what it cost, and I got some pretty good bottles! Some of them were misses, but I branched out and tried some of the more exotic spanish, french and italian wines. So I am stocked up on wine for a little bit...but I will definitely be back! They also have a great craft beer selection, and don't get me started on the hard liquor. :) read more

I've always been a huge fan of this place. My wife comes for the wine, and she loves their 5 cent wine sales. I usually come for the beer. Their selection is pretty gimongous and they have usually have some decent sales going on on the usual selections. Some of the more smaller brewery beers tend to be a bit on the pricey side, but I'm willing to pay the extra price for something that I like, like my Pranqsters. I love to try new and different beers and with Bevmo's selection, I have plenty opportunity. I'm glad there's a place in the AV for me to pick up Red Horse and San Miguel, which I otherwise have to pick up in the SF Valley. read more
