We remembered eating at this Edinburgh franchise 10 years ago and wanted to come back at least one time during this trip. It happened during our last couple of days in Scotland and it is also located very close to the infamous "Four Corners" area of Glasgow where we saw some interesting things happening at night.
During the day it was totally fine, especially early in the morning. They have a small seating area inside and some counters you can eat at. The window display is what will catch your attention if you've never been here before. Its stuffed with golden yellows and browns, rows and rows of delicious pastries.
Traditional Beef Pasty: Nice thin layer of breading and tender beef and vegetable filling. This came burning hot and it took awhile to cool downs be careful! Tasted amazing and it was one of the best we had.
Bacon Roll: Also made fresh so it came out burning hot. Had a lot of bacon in it and tasted great, our whole family divided this in quarters and enjoyed every bite.
Americano + Espresso: Prepared quickly and I quite like their beans, slightly bitter and acidic and less smooth compared to normal coffees. read more
