I requested the services each time using the U-Haul app the first time was a few months ago I believe last Summer and I needed a mini truck and this past week I needed a van. I reserved them both and had no issues at all. I love the online option this way you really don't have to interact a lot with the employees everything is pretty much straightforward. The only thing I needed to do was get the physical keys. The employee already knew that I was coming and was expecting me so he actually walked out to confirm who I was and passed me the keys. 10 out of 10 the usage, the quality, value and service Definitely check out online to see if they are offering any specials nevertheless the vehicles were clean didn't have any issues even though they do offer options to add on warranty services as far as to cover you if anything happens Etc. When we arrived they were so nice even though it was freezing. They loaded up all our luggage for us and the van driver was really nice and got us where we needed to be safely. Then our cruise got extended due to the port closing. Asphalt lots posted on Facebook within 10 minutes of us on the boat receiving the news of the port closing stating they was no need to worry they would hold our vehicles the extra day for no extra cost and would be there to pick us up when we port. We finally got off the boat and I was concerned it was going to be awhile before they picked us up due to the amount of people and the freezing temperatures but they were there waiting with three vehicles ready to get us. I can't recommend this place enough and I will use them every time I cruise out of Norfolk.

This is one of the worst companies to do business with. From today's experience, I was planning to…read moreclose out my account and remove any items from my storage bin. I drove up to the gate to input my key code and it said "access denied." Thinking maybe my key code was incorrectly dialed in. I tried again and the same thing happened. Ok then, let me go into the office and see what's up. I gave the peoples my name to look up my account, and I forgot the exact date I started with them. Today's the 30th, they told me I was ONE DAY LATE from paying my bill, so they mentioned they put a padlock on my storage unit. Then up to this point, everything is all good. This is the dialogue. "Ma'am, I'm going to close out my account today. I don't think there's anything in the unit but wanted to double check and recover my lock." "Sir, well since you are a day late, we locked up your storage unit. We can PRORATE you a price for a day, so you can grab your items." I'm thinking to myself, are you serious, 'PRORATE You a Price.' They also Had to mentioned that if I left any items in the unit they will charge for cleaning it out. Shaking my head at all this nonsense, for one day. So it's totally my fault not coming beforehand and I get that, but the principle of the One Day is driving me crazy. Just be aware, also the Prorated Price was $5 for one day. I recovered my lock and in the unit was only a folded up moving box. If they wanted $5 they could of just asked me for it instead of this nonsense. Lesson of today, "Don't be ONE Day Late or You'll pay A Prorated Fee.' Guaranteed!!!
