After reading reviews of local shipping stores I decided to go with OBX shipping center because of the great reviews and they did not disappoint! I had to print my packing slips so I had sent them through their website but didn't get a confirmation so I went ahead and went up to the store and inquired and they found them printed them out immediately for me and then help me get everything shipped out and save me a lot of money. I went there to get a document notarized. Had to wait a few minutes because they were busy. Not a problem. I went and had my document notarized, which only took a few minutes. When I went to pay, they didn't charge me for they do this as a benefit for active duty and retired military ( maybe all veterans) as I had shown them my ID card for identification purposes. I phoned them to get a quote on shipping a large picture. They said they could only ship via FedEx and the shipping cost was almost $200. However, they also said they would have to pack it (which I wanted them to do) but could not say how much THAT would cost! It was a very frustrating experience as the phone connection was terrible and I could hear small children or babies crying in the background. The person I spoke with was obviously distracted and didn't want to do more than look up rates for one shipping company. VERY disappointed. read more

Very interesting place... 2 floors, top one is for god knows what and the bottom is the where the notary works out of, which was quite a disaster. I came to this notary as I needed to send lease information while on vacation. Anyways, when I entered the lady working was quite frank with me and seemed a tad annoyed as I was a beginner with notaries. Overall, she was short and to the point, but at the end with enough kindness I was able to see the polite and gleaming smile the young woman had. The price was cheap, and the service matched it. I probably wouldn't go again (and won't) but if you find yourself in need of a quick notary, head here. read more

Couldn't tell if I was in a daycare or shipping center. Cheerios EVERYWHERE and a baby screaming so loud it was hard for anyone to communicate the information they needed to. Also the girl with black hair was rude and really short with answers to questions. read more
