There have been ups and downs and I just never wrote a review. I've seen them consistently stronger over the past year and they also are completing a renovation. It looks much better. My most recent visit was for a yummy poor man's frozen pizza for a golf party at the beach house. Let me explain further. Red Barron make one of the best frozen pizzas in my opinion. So by adding your own toppings you can hype your frozen pizza that runs around $5 per at Walmart. Feed 6-8 with three Red Barron Cheese pizza. Add Hormel pepperoni or turkey pepperoni. Add other items like sliced anchovies. Six pack of beer is a must. Dress your pizzas out and place in the oven per directions adding an add few minutes. For $31 (w/ beer) for all you will have the best store bought poor man's frozen pizza of your life. Self checkout smooth and friendly with assistance to check DL due to alcohol sales. Last June, on our anniversary, my hubby and I slipped down to the beach and stopped in, it's been over 50 years now. We bought six items of clothing, and I'm super pleased with all of them. The sweats for me (lovely willow color with a zippered crop top) look great on me, they're soft and wash well. I've worn the black cropped knit sweater many times, it really dresses me up. The hubster got three sweat shirts, and they all fit REALLY well. Not too snug, not too baggy. They look good, feel good, and wash well. We've planned a little day trip to the coast to add more of these quality clothes to our wardrobe.

I can buy lots of good snacks and groceries here for a decent price. The employees here are very pleasant and the store is easy to navigate. As with all Target stores, they have an app where you can purchase online and pick up in store if you so choose to. But not me. I like bright and shiny new stores, so in I went for some absolutely random shopping!

I didn't have my receipt and according to policy I would get store credit however this store said I also had to provide the sales tags. Who saves sale tags?! When I asked to go find the same shoes they told me that wouldn't matter either because they wouldn't have the same numbers. YES THEY WOULD! SKU numbers stay the same on the same items! I had to ask the girl behind the register to move her hair so I could see her name. When I asked Hannah B. if they could look up the purchase on my credit card history they also told me they couldn't do that. Oh, but they can. They just didn't want to help me! The manager finally made the girl go look for my items. She came back with one of them and offered no assistance on the other. Hannah spelled my name wrong on the store credit. Never said thank you and made me wait for her to restock her hangers before offering to help me. Not too classy. I had to call corporate to take care of my return. Thankfully they know how to treat a customer.

I stumbled upon Absolutely Outer Banks a handful of years ago and I was impressed with the selection of locally made arts and crafts. Ever since, this is my go to spot for legitimate and tasteful Outer Banks souvenirs. In addition to locally made items they also have some vintage items and even some new items for sale. One item that this store specializes in is really cool resin windows that are unique and exude happiness. Absolutely Outer Banks has artwork in all mediums and in all price points. They have jewelry, wood signs, candles, prints, glass work, textiles, metal work, etc.  On my most recent visit I enjoyed looking at a vintage pin ball machine and eyeing up the beautiful array of Fiestaware. There is plenty of opportunity for ooohhhing and ahhhing.  The owner is super friendly so that adds to the overall great experience. The exterior of the building is nicely maintained and upon walking in the store I was totally mesmerized at all of the stuff to look at.
