Came into the shop on Wednesday for mani's and pedis with my fiancé. The water was so hot I couldn't feel my feet, then when she used the feet grater to remove the dead skin from the bottom of my feet, she decided to use it across the tops of my toes and tore them up and the clear on my toes and fingers was horrible, worst experience ever with this place, very disappointed !!! 260.00 bill including tip? Mystic Nails Bar - Nail Salons Near Me - Crestview, Florida

Spent 80$ and this is what I get? The lady scrubbed the TOP of my feet so hard that I walked out with scabs on my toes. On top of that the NAIL TECH on manicures was talking on the phone LOUD and that was very disturbing. And my toe nails were uneven as ever. I asked her to clip them down and she used a nail filer when I need clippers. She sprayed alcohol on my burned toes and that made me suffer even more during the service. I let her know it was burning and she smiled hard at me. She was older, spoke little to NO English so that played a huge part in her NOT giving me what I asked for. I still tipped great yet walked out unsatisfied and in pain!! DONT COME HERE UNLESS THEY SPEAK ENGLISH SO THEY UNDERSTAND HOW TO HELP!! This felt dangerous the way she tried to aid my burn with cuticle oil, that burned me also. i don't recommend this space AT ALL. read more

I went for a pedicure, thinking I didn't have enough time for my nails too. I expected them to take a long time but they were fast and the quality was great. My nails still look ok, a month later. A bit pricey but worth it. read more

They barely spoke to me and my nails bubbled up when I left. I was very uncomfortable the whole time I was there

This was my first time here and it will be my last. I brought a friend with me from out of town and Tim did a good job for my friend but I would NOT recommend John. He did my "Deluxe Pedicure" and a gel Pedicure in under an hour. It felt very rushed and everyone that worked here spoke Vietnamese the whole time and it made you feel out of place and unwelcome. Definitely was NOT worth the money! read more

My dip turned out horrible. My nails are thick and different shapes. I asked for thin almond. Some of nails are slanted and some are bumpy. To top it of it was $50 read more

I personally wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I went in for a pedicure with normal nail polish because that's what i get everytime. I chose their $35 pedicure because that's what I get any other time I go anywhere. I seemed to really set off the guy doing it when I declined upgrading about 10 times. he kept on telling me that he could only make my feet look good if I upgraded to their highest pedicure and that I needed gel so it wouldn't chip. I get my toes done every 2-3 weeks & gel always peels off me so I never get it but he kept telling me I needed it despite me saying no so many times I had to throw out a stern "I said no" and then he stopped talking to me. he did my pedicure is about 10 minutes. no massage no pumice stone, nothing. just painted my toes and sent me on my way. read more

So update. I wasn't able to get my nails redone yet due to the holiday weekend but when I went to bed last night I noticed that my nails glow in the dark.... I was never told that the polish was going to do this read more

I got a pedicure with gel polish here on Wednesday (4 days ago) and I was pretty pleased with the pedicure, the gentlemen made sure he got my ingrown nails which was my biggest concern because I was in pain. I picked my polish but was not very pleased with the results, one of my nails was painted very bulky and felt uneven to the touch. I did complain to the gentlemen and said "this right here is not smooth like the other ones" I thought it'd be an easy fix because it was just one and he said "okay," but he blew me off as if he didn't understand me and walked over to checkout so that I could just pay and leave. Additionally, it's only day 4 and the polish is already chipping on one of my nails... read more

As a breast cancer warrior I understand how important self care is. So a couple times a year I will splurge for a mani pedi. I always make a day of it, wear a dress, do my hair, all I can do to make myself feel feminine and beautiful. After losing my breasts to cancer and being unable to have reconstruction due to medical issues this is an important part of helping me feel beautiful and feminine. Helping me stay strong to fight daily to not give into the cancer. I arrived for my appointment and was looked at funny. Wearing a cute dress and my Wonder Woman shawl I know I looked good. The pedicurist rushes through my nails and I had the worst leg massage ever. She was very talkative to her coworkers but almost ignored me. What confused me most was I was given a towel to cover my lap. When I was getting my nails done I informed the tech that I can't have my cuticles cut because of my cancer and I have no immune system in my arms due to surgery. He face light up and she said 'oh, you girl! Have cancer' then proceeded to not give me the French tip I asked but to completely color my nails. I am giving three stars because I now know this place is trans friendly and if you want a decent nail job they will do ok, but after fighting with breast cancer for two years and slowly losing myself in the pain that cancer is being mistaken and treated poorly because I don't have breasts made me so sad. This was over a week ago and I still feel depressed, sad and shaken that I was treated this way. read more

So this is the new nail salon in Crestview thought I'd check it out. I was happy to see they accepted walkins and they were quick to get me in a chair on Saturday which I absolutely appreciated :) Everything was super clean and new. The only thing was they were using the pedi towels to wipe down the floors...but other than that they seemed pretty friendly and they offer free drinks. I'm a huge fan of nail art. So as always I requested it. Wasnt anything too impressive and he messed up the design on my other nail. All in all it was a nice experience. Definitely recommend them! read more

I have never been to Mystic nails before. I am very seldom extremely happy with my nails. I went in and saw Heather today, she was quick, she was very nice, my nails look better than they ever have, shape, color and design. I don't think I will be going anywhere but mystic nail bar from here on out. I recommend anyone that has not been here should visit. read more

No stars for me!! Never EVER going back! Got talked into getting gel even though I didn't want it and the worker (even though he was very sweet) put gel on my toes and by time I left, the top coat came off along with some of the color. I spoke to the manager and she refused to give me my money back but instead gave me credit for the gel to be redone. Went in to get them done and the workers refused to do it and gave me attitude!!! Not professional! I called the manager and she arranged for a gentleman to redo them for me. Although I do not speak Vietnamese I know they were being disrespectful. If I were to recommend a nail salon it wouldn't be this one even if it was the last salon in the world! Update! Toes were still messed up. Never have I ever had to go to a salon 3 times in one month. read more

Visiting Crestview and saw grand opening sign. Place is clean, brand new chairs and tubs and very friendly. Prices are comparable to other salons from the little research I did for the area. They have only been open 4 days yet almost completely set up. Would be great if they offered a military or veteran discount read more

I got a pedicure and gel manicure. My polish on my toes is cracking one day later. The gel on my nails looks thicker in spots and she got the clear coat all around my nails. There were also fuzzies all over and sticking to my nails. For $75 I expect better quality. Although very nice, I'm paying for quality nails to last and look good. read more

OBSESSED WITH THESE NAILS. Honestly I didn't plan on coming here. I knew I wasn't going to my previous nail place because they botched my last set, so I randomly saw this spot & turned right away to check it out. It looks nice, it's a brand new place & everything is bright and pretty lol. Right away they sat me & after a few mins I was seen and they offered me something to drink. (YAY they have wine) Also there's a million colors to pick from so beware! My nail tech was Max & he had a ton of knowledge on nails & we actually ended up taking the remaining nails I had left off. (I wish I had before pics, they were that terrible lol). The shape I chose was almond and he ACTUALLY did almond. My last set was uneven, roundish-shaped "almond". Max made my nails super even and not bumpy or chunky at all & I am in love with them! He was super friendly and actually made conversation with me too so the entire experience was hands down amazing. I will 100% be returning back here! read more

If I could give 0 stars...nope, they deserve a negative 100. It was so bad I was looking for the hidden cameras. The guy who did my moms pedi was so rude and mean to her. He was pissed and showed it when my mom changed her mind on the color. Then she didn't know I was getting a gel pedi and she saw them using the uv light to dry/set it and she asked for it to dry her nails and the guy STRAIGHT UP YELLED AT HER saying - she got gel! You get regular! You say regular!!! Then he went to process her card while she was sitting under the dryer and he comes back with the screen to sign- where it has the suggested tip button and he leans in with it and says, "you leave tip and sign and then I'll give you your card back". I was like, whoa...what the actual heck! Then the guy who was doing my pedi kept giving me oogie eyes and like grabbing my legs and saying "you like it huh?" And "close your eyes baby it's better, I'll take care of you" . The looks he was giving. So gross. To the point where my daughter got uncomfortable and was like mom, why is he looking at you like that? Kept telling me to relax and let my legs spread that it was ok...then, less than 5 minutes into the damn pedi he cut my big toe! Cause he kept looking at me with the pervie eyes and trying to seduce me. Then when he cut me he put his fingers to his lips and said "sh sh sh sh shhhh, relax, I make it better for you, and started rubbing up my leg (not massaging- rubbing...). He kept giving me the looks and my face of disgust was very noticeable. I kept having to remind him to watch what he was doing. Oh and he started using that cheese grater file on my feet and I told him no I didn't want that at all. He said okay and grabbed another grater and I said "no I told you no I don't want that shredder file!" He kept telling me to close my eyes. Like super suggestive. I was so uncomfortable and I got cut, and I could not relax. I was disgusted. I wish I could show what he did. Oh, and he had a huge oozing gaping sore on his hand that he was doing my feet and I had to keep moving my foot away from it. It was the size of a silver dollar and noticeably infected. It was thoroughly inappropriate and disgusting. My daughter was like upset about it. For HER to notice and say something it's REALLY bad. Never ever ever go here. There are PLENTY of other places in the area. Go to ANY of them! read more

We needed a good nail place in Crestview and this place is it. The service is superb and John took his time when giving me my pedicure.

I went to this salon with good strong nails. The woman that did my nails destroyed them by grinding them down to the quick. My nails are so soft they bend!! I went back for them to fix it and they told me there was nothing they could do. Then starting talking in Korean about me while I was standing there. 102.00 dollars later I have to go somewhere else for my nails. I went here because of the reviews I guess I learned my lesson. read more

It looks like a nice place. Staff was pretty friendly. I decided to do an ombre the color turned out nice. However- the male technician was half focused on me and something else. I asked for an oval shape instead ended up getting a coffin shape. The side of the nails were uneven. I ended up going home and having my daughter cut the ends off and reshape the nails to give them a better shape. Wouldn't recommend. Though my eyebrows look great! Focus on your customer! read more

Really disappointed they didn't do my nails the way I wanted them. They did whatever they wanted and I asked for something different and by different I mean I wanted gel nails, I got acrylic. The lady told me "no this is what you want. $65." Nails came out crooked and cherries looks like stick people with large shoes. Learn more about nail art to do better. Oh and there is a difference between gel and acrylic. Learn about that too. read more

Me and My mom went and got our nails done here and overall I will never go back after the first visit. I got acrylics with gel and paid $65 for them when really it was worth $5. Some of my nails broke and/or chipped after a week, they are very thin, my nails are sensitive, and I am still struggling to touch my cuticles after the guy who did them drilled them til they bleed on multiple fingers. Then on top of that he messed up multiple times and then drilled my nail so I wouldn't notice instead of properly fixing them. I have talked to multiple people about my experience and i have come to the conclusion that because I am young he probably thought I was stupid and didn't know anything. Even my sister who used to do nails said that was wrong. He was not able to paint them properly because they didn't sit under the light long enough or the same amount and there was a some indent in one. Iwill not go there and will not suggest it. read more

Using my husbands account-- I have been here a few times since they opened and have gotten my eyebrows done, I've done acrylic sets and gel manicures and have never had any complaints!
