We are driving home to California from Portland and my son said he needed to throw up. He actually did throw up on the way to Portland so we stopped by this Walgreens to see if they had Dramamine for kids. The cashier at the front was a little off. As I mentioned we are driving to California and had some cans that I was looking to dispose of. I'm used to stores having a trash can in front of the store. She seemed to not want to let me throw away some of the stuff I had, although I did need to go get the medication. I let her know that I did need to purchase an item and I'm assuming her manager or someone in a higher position was coming towards the front when she asked him if she could let me throw the cans away. So thank you to him! I was able to get the motion sickness medication for my son and it was close to the freeway.

I went in on crutches in pain from having broken my ankle a couple hours prior to get my prescription paper back to take to another pharmacy. Judd then told me that it was counted and would be ready in a few minutes. He then got snarky and yelled across the pharmacy that my prescription wasn't even legitimate and they shouldn't have filled it. I'm still not sure what that was about. The poor manager on duty was working her tail off taking care of people and cleaning up the messes from Judd's unprofessional snark. She is the only reason I gave 3 stars. The manager on duty July 3rd deserves a raise. Judd needs to be retrained or let go.

They are a Regence Blue Shield Preferred Pharmacy so have similar rates to the larger pharmacies in town-only without the wait time! You may pay a tiny bit more but it's worth it to me to support local. The store has much of the standard items you'd find in a drug store plus some really cute specialty items that you wouldn't find at a chain drug store.

Self-checkout has multiple lanes open, I gravitate there. I pick baby supplies, variety of discounted veggies, start unloading & scanning, to which the self-checkout cashier runs over seemingly irritated I was there with my child and plants, and asks me to go to a "regular check-stand" because she has to do xyz for each individual xyz... okay? so I reload all the plants with no help offered, and cruise over to a regular check-stand. Instead of unloading each plant, I remove all the tags and place them in a neat pile on top of a box of diapers to make it simple for the cashier to scan and she freaks out over an ant on the plant tag, then starts individually asking me about each plant, taking them out, grumbling about the lack of labeling and dirt. I genuinely hate shopping here because of the employees. Sushi department is always friendly. I wish it had its own Yelp separate from the store.
