Came to did it Italy for the first time, staying here for a week so it's a perfect time to leave some reviews on restaurants. Decided to eat breakfast at a place I saw while passing by. Happened to be this place and the waiter was adorable and so kind. I might sound a bit biased because I'm not from here but they didn't have any utensils laying around already so we had to ask. The food was good but mine took a while to come, and it wasn't fresh. It was still delicious, and I would reccomend it :)

Breakfast special was amazing, fresh meat, cheese eggs and croissant. Fantastic fresh juice and caffe latte. Service was fast and friendly.

During our stay at Hotel dei Consoli in Rome we've found Myrko just around the corner. A lovely place to start the evening with some nice wine or a cold Nastro Azurro. We order the mixed plate that offers you some delicious cheeses, tastefull slices of chorizo and other sausages but above all, great Italian ham & bacon. When you're ready with your appetizers can go for the entrecôte, which goes by the name Danish steak. Add some fries as a side dish as these go well together with the steak. I won't forget to mention the waitress who did her very best to please us as much as possible, and she did well! Whenever you're in Rome, have a good time at Myrko. Find the right seat at their terrace which gives you a nice view on the St. Peter's Basilica...

Bacon eggs and cheese breakfast sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes!!! It was delicious, but I could without the lettuce!

Great little spot for breakfast while we stayed at Vatican's Roof inn. Their breakfast sandwich was good! The bacon inside was the best I've had. Hubby had the same. He had an americano and I had fresh squeezed OJ, only problem was it was warm OJ. Since it was 8 am he didn't have enough change for a €50 and kind of made a face when we offered to pay with a Visa. Mind you they take Visa & MasterCard, as well as others. He had to run out of the shop to get change. I didn't mind it. Only thing I saw that I didn't care for was the fact that they can get busy in the morning but are not able to keep up thus delaying everything from ordering food, to being served to paying. Give yourself time if you have somewhere to be. The street view was great cause we were in the main square and can see the hustle and bustle of a regular morning for locals. Going back again this morning for pancakes!

the pancakes are really really small and not worth the price, each pancake is about 1/3 the size of an American pancake.

Review # 1200 After…read moresome shopping on the Via cola Di Riemzo, we were ready for lunch. This spot was a Yelp find. We arrived just before they opened at 12:30. We asked for a table outside and the kind lady asked us if we had a reservation (oh oh). We didn't. No problem as we took our pick of one of the tables. Two levels inside with a small Bar in the back. Before we knew it, outside seating was full and inside also filled up-a good sign. We ordered a liter (ended up being too much but when in Rome...) of their house Red and enjoyed it. For starters, we ordered the Fried Artichokes (thick breading and will order the Roman style with garlic/vinegar next time), fried Zucchini and Suppli-Cacio Pepe. The Suppli was delicious and was enjoyed the most. For main, it was Pasta Carbonara (Guanciale )-Proper carbonara and the streak of not having a bad version of this dish in Rome continues. The sliced Beef with mushrooms was also delicious -super tender and thin pieces of beef (medium rare as requested). We asked if the Tiramisu was house-made. Our server answered, "yes, and I am the one who makes it." How could we not order after that?! One of the best Tiramisus we've had. Perfect balance of coffee dipped lady fingers with cream-delicious! Our Server was kind, attentive and full of hustle -she was covering a lot of ground. Don't miss this Gem if you are in the Prati district.

Already depressed knowing we were returning to the cold and fearful Minneapolis, we spent the day packing and wandering Prati. After drowning our sorrows at a few cocktail emporiums in the early evening, we walked into Su e Giu without a reservation close to 9:30. The two guys working the front showed us to a table, and we proceeded to have a perfect last night meal. Our appetizers and pastas were great, service was friendly, and I spent time reflecting on how wonderful Rome is, rather than thinking about our return to the fractured States. Su e Giu Cucina Romana is the perfect Roman restaurant to feel La Dolce Vita. It is a sweet life indeed.

This shop is more of a countertop order from their limited menu but the menu is executed so well you'll be tempted to order multiple bowls. There are a few stools and table out front to enjoy your food hot. Both times I've been on separate visits within two years, has only shown me how consistent their food and quality is. You can pair your dishes with an aperol spritz or mini bottle of wine for less than five euros. The pasta was about nine to eleven euros and the portions were more than plenty. The chef and owner are super nice and very informative about their dishes. If you are a fan of spice you have to try their chef-recommended dish. They had one dish topped with pancetta and I just about wanted to lick my bowl clean. Everyone in the group was raving how delicious it was. Egg will forever be on my must-have when visiting Rome.

I had possibly the most amazing chick food pasta a girl could imagine. Girls know what girl food is. The pasta in Italy is just better -obviously. But then put all sorts of girl flavors on it like Lemon and Orange, just lightly enough, zest with a small hint of cheese-..... omgosh. Yes, yes, and yes. Need my hubs to replicate at home. He is going to be busy trying to perfect this. Tagliatelle with orange and lemon parmesan. This was it. It was the best. Everything else we ordered was amazing as well. Wait outside. They don't have a sign telling you to wait, no server telling you to wait. You wait out there, wondering if you're in the right place, but then people stand behind you and you're like - oh! I'm here. This is the place. There are possibly 4 tables inside. It's small. I read about them being rude- we did not have that problem. In fact, they made a mistake and we kindly let them know we ordered something else- they corrected it and were nice about it.
