It is very evident to me before, during, and after the session that Joy cares deeply about her patients and her work. She was very thorough in her assessment of my past and current conditions, then worked on specific areas of my body as I communicated my needs to her. I am grateful that she validated my concerns while explaining her process to me along the way. Joy communicated throughout the massage to ensure the right amount of pressure was being used and regularly checked in on my comfort levels. I had such a positive and healing experience that I have already booked follow-up appointments!

The mysterious pain in his lower back as he rebounded or jumped returned with an added knee issue after being flagrantly tripped by an opponent. All things knees makes me really worried considering all the knee injuries I've suffered from. Most clinics were closed or were about to close. Some didn't pick up while others didn't have available appointments. I changed my search area and stumbled across Past Tense Massage. Read the reviews and called and spoke to Mr. Marshall. Provided him with the key information and he was AVAILABLE to work his magic for my son's ailments. Mr. Marshall was personable and professional; He was very knowledgeable and informative. He provided thorough attention and care to the impacted areas and to areas that we didn't know were important. I wasn't expecting an instant miracle, however, my son left out taller feeling better than he'd ever been and more importantly, without any of the pain he initially walked in with. I shared his experience with other team parents and a few wished they had known and also made an appointment for their Sonshine. The care he gave made it possible for goin to play Day 3 and he was able to lock in with his team and clinch the Championship! Thank you Mr. Marshall for all you did and even with short notice! Sonshine rated his experience a 10 out of 10, and we will make this our go to place when traveling to SoCal for a basketball tournament.

After just two sessions, I noticed a dramatic improvement in both my pain level and mobility. I was honestly surprised by how much better my knee felt. I highly recommend them to anyone recovering from an injury or dealing with persistent pain. I'm grateful for the care I received and will definitely be returning.

I am very disappointed with my experience. I returned the day after posting my initial review…read morebecause I had a previously scheduled appointment. Upon arriving, the front desk informed me that Dr. Haskin had canceled my appointment and would no longer be seeing me as a patient due to the review I left. My review was simply based on the treatment I experienced from the front desk staff, and I do not understand how providing honest feedback about that interaction resulted in me being dismissed as a patient. It is unfortunate to see a business respond this way rather than addressing the concerns being raised. I believe feedback is an opportunity for improvement, and it is disappointing that my experience was handled in this manner.

It's usually just a relaxing massage and I leave feeling the same. This is NOT the case with Alisa. I started seeing Alisa 4 years ago when I pulled my shoulder and now I can't go a month without her. It was different than any other massage I've ever received, she made me do a lot of movement in addition to the massage and she definitely gets into all the nooks and crannies to make sure she is addressing why you feel pain. It does hurt at times but man, a couple days after the massage I feel like I have a new body! I'd rather have a less relaxing massage with some pain mixed in that truly helps me feel better, than a relaxing massage and I leave feeling the same. I am a personal trainer and I refer all of my clients to her, there is no one else I trust with myself or my clients. She literally knows the body and she finds all of my issues without me even saying anything. 11/10 recommend!

She has continued to work on me these past six months, including on my recent hamstring injury. Before each session, she takes the time to listen to my concerns and focuses on the areas that ache the most. I make sure to see her at least a week before my competition and I attribute many of my personal records and wins to her. I would definitely continue to book with her if ever I go here again. However, I was convinced to try a different girl and she was really good but a little too talkative when she was giving me a massage. Usually when I stay quiet, massage therapists know to just let me relax. But this girl was too proud of her massage techniques and her work that she wanted to share with me all about it. But I don't care about techniques, just make me feel good. I talk a lot in job, so when I go get a massage for 90 minutes there should be minimal talking. Talking should contain a few words like: is that enough pressure or does that hurt or turn over. It's not a time to show off or educate on massage techniques. Unless I ask and am curious, fine you can share. Other than that, just let me relax. I had to minus a star just for the talking. Sorry lady-who-shall-not-be-named. I guess that's karma for you. I should've been faithful to Mimi. Sorry, Mimi!
