This fact alone says that I don't really have anything to compare it to, other than similar types of businesses. First off, the location is on a busy street with very little parking so plan on getting there early to make arrangements if needed. There are spots behind the building but there are only a couple of spots shared between several shops, and they're all clearly labeled as either 30 or 60 min max, so I'm not sure how you're supposed to plan for a 90-min service. The last thing you want to be worrying about is getting a parking ticket during your special "me time." When I got to the door a few minutes early, there was no one there and it was locked. They were only like 5-10 min late and gave us our full time but it was a little odd knocking on the door. As we were getting situated in our rooms there was one lady trying to run back and forth telling us what to do and complete our initial consultations, so maybe someone was late to work that day? It was giving 90s Disney movie vibes where one person was trying to attend two events at the same time without anyone noticing. As a result, I'm not sure I was ever really aligned properly on the massage chair and it kept digging into my neck? It was very sore the next day, and not in the "I just had a massage vibe." The chair latched you in at the arms and legs so she kept telling me to slide up and down, presumably to align my head with the water? I just feel like I never quite had it right. A second technician arrived eventually and we continued on with the services, which were fun and interesting, and different. I loved seeing my scalp up close in their little microscope/camera. My hair came out super shiny and soft and I would try this again, but probably not on the regular. After the treatment we enjoyed tea and some sort of cracker/chip to go with it in the lobby, who can was a perfect end to our afternoon. This was an okay experience.

He also noticed an address several other muscular imbalances that I had just ignored. Being athletic is much easier when you have a solid recovery plan and massage should definitely be part of it. My hair was already getting frizzy, so I reminded her again that I wanted the bouncy blowout I booked and was paying for. She told me she did not have time because she was rushing and that she could not do what I had asked for. At that point I was really frustrated. I was paying for a specific service and expected to actually receive it. When I told her I was upset, she looked at me and said, "Do you know how much a blowout for your hair would cost?" That comment was honestly so unprofessional. I told her it was not about the money. It was about the fact that I booked a service, confirmed ahead of time that it could be done, waited almost half an hour because she was behind, and then was told she did not have time to do what I had paid for. What makes it even more frustrating is that the entire appointment still took about an hour, which is a completely normal amount of time for a long blowout. My hair is thick, but it is not curly and not difficult to style. If she knew she was running behind or did not have enough time to do the service properly, that should have been communicated before starting, or I should have been given the option to reschedule. Instead, I received a rushed service and was charged the full $70. She barely went over my hair with a round brush, and the final result looked like it had just been rough dried instead of being an actual blowout. I left feeling like my time did not matter and that I paid $70 for something I did not even receive. I am extremely disappointed with both the service and the way I was treated, and I will not be returning.
