I have had four massages here. The first massage was okay, but I wanted to make it work because it is close to our house. The reception area is nice, but the receptionist lacks in hospitality, which when you are going for that spa experience, feels fairly important. I finally got settled in with a therapist I loved at my second massage and continued to schedule three more massages with them. Upon arrival today for my massage with her I was told they were no longer there. Then they didn't have record of my massage even being for today, or for my time of arrival. My massage was booked for 2pm. I arrived five minutes early. Receptionist didn't have me on the scheduled. Asked me if I had even received a verification text, which I had, and will post below. It is currently 2:15, and my massage has not begun. I would say that while they have decent therapists, they lack hugely in hospitality and administrative functions. I wouldn't return here unless they were able to get this fixed. Highly disappointed in the experience and definitely would not recommend. read more

I was told that "everyone uses medical emergency" when I had a to cancel my appointment. And in the same respect the reception told me " I'm not questioning you" , completely contradictory and oblivious to the situation. I requested another therapist and was told that they have multiple therapists but that they're booked for the year through packages. It had been at least a year since my last massage. We all know how amazing they can feel and most of us likely haven't had a poor one either! Still, it was very easy for me to give Luis of Stressless Therapy Massage 5 stars for cleanliness, decor, friendliness, attentiveness, professionalism, location, and price. I called and left a message to first schedule a massage. Luis currently works by appointment only, since he's starting off in a new location. Not only did he call back and have excellent customer service skills, but there is even a text confirmation/reminder that comes through. I love that type of follow up. His business is located off Bradford and Chapman, across from Kraemer Park. The strip mall, which includes Rosa's Pizza, has ample parking. The lobby area is inviting and the whole place was clean. I used the restroom facilities as well, and the whole interior design already screamed at me...RELAX SHEILA. Haha. The rooms are pretty typical. A robe is provided if needed, a place to hang your clothing, a chair, table and such. The smells and music playing immediately soothe your worries of the day. Luis has you fill out a form to learn of problem areas, allergies, prior injuries, and more to really get to know his clients. He asked me if I was ok with scalp, face, and glutes and I nodded in affirmation. He also asks the amount of pressure you like and can adjust up or down on your comfort level. He used peppermint for my scalp massage and it felt so amazing. His desire to not transfer hair oil to your face is apparent, as he sanitizes after touching your hair. He is very careful to make sure your private areas are kept covered and you can choose what you'd like to keep on or off during your session. Very respectful. Some of my favorites during the hour selected was the foot massage, glutes, scalp, neck, shins, forearms, and hands. I should sleep like a log tonight! Before leaving, Luis explained his returning client fees. The regular rates are very reasonable to begin with. First-timers receive a slight discounted fee and returners who pre-pay their next appointment, get to also utilize the lower fee. Seems fair enough. No nasty contracts to get out of, automatic withdrawals, or expiration dates. How simple is that! Please consider allowing Luis to work his magic on your tired, achy, stress-filled body and I am telling you, you won't regret doing so! read more

I come to Luis every 3-4 weeks for the past 5 months. I always have headaches and my back/shoulders are always tense. After my first appointment he recommended stretches to help release my tension and help my headaches. Luis goes above and beyond every time. Other massage places I've always gotten the "hope you enjoyed your massage have a great day" attitude but with Luis he will recommend a stretch to do to relieve whatever my issue is when I go see him. Very disappointed in my experience. I gave great insight as to the areas I wanted to focus on and it was my back. The area focused on was my neck. Very awkward as the person was so close to me that I can feel them breathing on my face (gross and need some personal space). The person I guess was tired, as he was yawning multiple times. I received have received messages regularly and have never been as disappointed as I was. I didn't expect my pain to go away.
