She made huge assumptions about my disabilities and body, made cruel comments about by wheelchair and shamed me throughout our entire appointment. I would not wish this doctor on my worst enemy and I will be telling everyone I know who wears or needs glasses to stay FAR FAR away from your establishment. I noticed a plus size assistant in the office and I can only imagine the way that poor women gets spoken to on a daily basis from this eye doctor. Disgraceful mean girl energy from top to bottom, my husband was surprised I didn't tell her about herself on the spot but I was trying not to match how absolutely RUDE this woman was.

I was seen at my scheduled appointment time. The eye doctor appeared to have been doing more than just her job, which was fine. She asked me to have a seat in the pre-exam room before we went into the exam room. She casually mentioned that a few staff members were absent, hence why she was doing various things. Completely understandable. She was very kind and polite through the whole visit and listened to my concerns in the exam room. What I didn't agree with were the employees at the front desks loudly discussing the multiple call outs that day, who is reliable, who isn't, who works hard, who slacks off, etc. I've been in customer service before so I can understand the frustration, but this is NOT the conversation you want to be having while there are clients in the store. I was trying to browse some eyeglass styles and this is all I heard in the background. These types of conversations should be kept private or should be discussed when the store is empty. It was a little off putting to witness this. Needless to say, I sat down with a gentleman (possibly a manager) at the desk to order a pair of trial contact lenses. He ordered them and printed my receipt but didn't engage in any sort of conversation with me. He just seemed annoyed by the people who missed work that day. This is my preferred location for eye exams. My hope is that the employees receive feedback about when to keep conversations private, or the team hires more individuals to keep operations running smoothly.

He does not give his patients a paper prescription and you have to basically beg them to send it to you. The office is all paper so you have to get it mailed, no email allowed. Most recently, I went in to pick up my daughters contacts after months of playing phone tag. I left at least two voicemails requesting the prescriptions be mailed to me and received no response. I stopped in back in February of 2024 to try to pay for the contact lenses for $240 and my FSA was not working. The doctor was the one running the card as all his other staff were gone for the day. There was no mention of any outstanding co-pays for her November 2023 visit at this time and I have a statement on my FSA account showing this transaction was successful. When I went in on this date, 5/21/24 in hopes to pick up her contacts after finally resolving the issue with my FSA account, I was told they no longer had them. I asked for the paper prescription and was told that I had to pay the outstanding $25 co-pay (which was already paid) in order to have the prescription on paper released to me. Dr. Manson then proceeded to tell me that he doesn't hand prescriptions out because they need to be "finalized" yet every time he issues a prescription he has my daughter put the contacts in her eyes and we leave with those contacts as that is the prescription he issues. Yet he holds the paper prescription hostage so we cannot go purchase them at a better price at a different location. It is completely unprofessional and we are paying for a service and then are not receiving our own prescriptions. The first visit I had with his office I spent close to $400 on glasses that I didn't even like because I felt pressured to purchase in house. I learned as the years went on to ask for the paper copy but it's always an issue where his office does not want to release it for one reason or another.

I can't say enough positive things about the staff at Visual Eyes. From the moment I approached the outside glass office door I was greeted by Lindsay with a big smile. I knew then that this was going to be a very positive experience. The rest of the staff was incredibly friendly, approachable, patient, and readily available to answer my questions. They made me feel welcomed and valued as a customer and a person and this is now my go-to store for all my vision issues. Blessie, who does the preliminary exam, took her time to explain the process and what was going to happen using the new technology, Dr. Small who was incredibly kind and patient, provided the best and by far the most thorough eye examination I've ever had and I'm pushing 80 and last but certainly not least there is the very patient Tim who helped me pick out two pair of glasses based on my color and financial preference from their fantastic selection of eyewear. I was never rushed nor was I pressured to buy anything. Actually, I was going to purchase three pair but Tim didn't think the third pair was needed and in hindsight he is correct. I inquired if they had a service for repairs and the associate told me she could take care of it for me in less than ten minutes and not to go too far. She saw that my case that held the glasses was damaged and without me asking gave me a new one. This Warby Parker is located in the Promenade in Dresher. A very nice area to shop, eat, and perhaps do some grocery shopping as they have a Sprout's nearby as well. I would highly recommend this place based on their customer service, location, and selection. As always people SYOY!!!!

I bought the eye drops she recommended....my vision never improved. My followup visit was scheduled 6 months later at 9:30am. I arrived promptly. They asked for the identical insurance information which was already on file. They gave me a beeper and told me to wait in the car. After waiting for over 35 minutes without a beep I went back in the office, handed back the beeper and told them that I couldn't wait any longer. They told me that because of covid it takes time to clean the room. (What BS - alcohol drys in less than 30 seconds!) They assured me that the doctor will be ready in 2 minutes. 10 minutes later...no doctor....I left. I'm sorry....this is inexcusable. They evidently have no respect for a patient's time and certainly do not deserve my business. I will be going to another eye doctor.
