I was looking for earlier issues of a specific comic around 15 years old and they had so many super clean issues. Store arrangement/comic quality:5/5 As a comic collector there's nothing I hate more than new comics with spine breaks dents corner dings you name it. This was the cleanest selection of comics I've seen in a while. Especially when they check you out they put your comics in the bag so delicately as if they are performing surgery. I was also pleased to find a huge selection of variant covers in addition to the new covers as well. If your a fan of variants in good quality, go here you won't be disappointed. Some issues I saw were marked $1-1.50 higher than other stores, but they make up for it with really good prices on older issues. I saw a spawn issue 1 in there for really cheap. They have almost all the secret wars issues too for the original story. They don't have the first alien suit Spider-Man though I looked so sorry to disappoint haha. You can also buy terrificon tickets there too! All in all, I am very happy I drove 50 minutes out of my way to go here. If your a comic nerd you can easily spend an hour and pretty penny here picking up some great titles and having some good conversation!

From current stuff to old to indie. The selection is deep. They have a few long boxes of $1 comics and a few magazine size boxes (I cleared out their old Epic Magazines in one trip), a few walls of games and a solid selection of statues/figures. They also get in some great books, like Illustrators and Illustration (two separate publications), which you usually have to find online/buy direct. All in all, a great place to stop by and dig around!

I was told at the counter that they didn't have enough staff to do a flu vaccine for us tonight but that I could certainly make an appointment online for another day. They had five people working, which is four more than they usually have But apparently that's not enough staff. As I was told this, the woman behind me, walked up with an appointment for a flu shot, and was told that someone would be right out to give it to her...... After politely waiting almost an hour. I was told to come back later. He didn't have time for me. I left. My wife called the store to explain we needed the paint and asked when it would be ready? We were told he was working on it and I could get it later. My wife Went back today 3days later....again met with complete rudeness by Frank. Let him know it was not nice to keep bumping my husband to take care of contractors. I was informed the morning is for contractors!!! I asked if the store said that with morning hours for contractors only? Let him know we were trying to be supportive to local businesses and didn't appreciate being treated like we were garbage. We spent $200 dollars on 3 gallons and a quart. When I went to leave, I noticed the gallon was in the wrong finish. I asked frank and he said that's what I showed him. I explained that's impossible as the only paint label I have is the one I showed him. So I showed him again. He replied" man I'm not arguing with you but that's not what you showed me". He's 100% wrong, rude and disrespectful and I'm disgusted. My husband was patient and kind. And was bypassed for and hour then rudely spoken to them not taken care of. I guess contractors are more important thank your every day veteran who served 27 years in the army protecting us. Shame on you Frank.

Doesn't even say hello when you walk in the place (especially when she's chatting idly on the phone). Unpleasant and definitely not where I want to spend money on overpriced supplies. One plus is that it's a fully stocked, very nicely maintained store. But, $7 for a paint sample... I am normally happy to pay more to shop locally and support the community, but, I'm done with this place. I've always been treated very nicely by Stepney Hardware, so I'll be stopping here today to get my five gallon bucket of Benjamin Moore paint.
