In my previous review I noted that Target informed me that they would call me when my glasses would be ready. They never called me so I went without my new glasses longer than the estimated time. Once I called, the staff were not friendly over the phone and seemed irritated that I was calling to check on the status of the glasses. While I love my new frames, I might look for a new eyeglass spot in the future.

They also have a machine that takes a picture of your eye instead of having to be dilated. It costs $30 and insurance doesn't cover it, but we'll worth it not to be blind for the next few hours! It is located in Costco but is not a part of Costco. You can come to this office without being a Costco member, but you have to be a member if you want to purchase glasses there.

Every year I come in, I remember that I really don't like this place. The optometrists have always been great but the other staff don't even pretend to care. When I was waiting in the lobby for my exam, they were just loudly talking about how much they hate their jobs and how horrible the drs that tell them to do their jobs are. I just picked up my glasses and the girl barely took her eyes of her phone while I was making sure they fit. One time I went in when I had what turned out to be a paint chip in my eye and I could barely open my eye and had tears streaming out of it, and the staff person just keep trying to argue that my insurance wouldn't pay for it. I just kept saying I would pay whatever I'm cash, just fix my eye. I just paid $215 on top of my insurance so it's not even affordable which is the only thing it has going for it. I feel bad since I really like the optometrists, but I'll just find another clinic that doesn't make me feel like I'm bothering them by being a customer.

When I do not have issues and other things. That was fault 1. The doctor on site, is really aggressive on pushing for dilation and that test. And made me feel very belittled because I refused a test at my own will! "Well we have to educate you", educating is one thing but belittling is what they did. I wouldn't also trust my kids or my girls around this doctor by themselves, he is very pushy and weird. When looking at my eyes he was touching my face, no other eye doctor has EVER touched my face EVER! Thankfully I had someone with me, this man was weird. He also was belittling other doctors that I seen, who were MDs rather than ODs, and saying they couldn't never do the treatment over electrically even though my prescription from those doctors were beyond great! And then also told me that I was uneducated about my eyes when I've always been told the same thing by many of doctors about my eyes the same thing. As a doctor you shouldn't be letting your colleges in the same field it's unprofessional and disgusting of an attitude. Then when we were checking out, he was out there speaking with one of the lady's and left a sweat stain in the chair. You could see his privates. That's absolutely a disgusting thing for me. I won't be back to this place I got my glasses and left. Overall the experience of them being pushy is a huge NO for me.

They were never close to running out while I was there. The waiting area was tidy and clean and also had the sample frames along the walls. The staff here was very friendly. I had to get a follow up and they were able to get me into an appointment on the same day that I called. I got an eye exam here and Dr. Richard was awesome. Her very nice, personable and very knowledgeable. He explained everything to me in great detail and made recommendations, but did not try to up sale me. My experience here was very pleasant and positive. I was given the VIP treatment and they far exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend checking this place out for your vision needs.
