He allowed me to try various brands of contacts before choosing the ones I preferred, and gave me an ample supply before the ones I chose came in, since they were backordered. There was an error on behalf of the manufacturer, not his office, and they made it right on my behalf. He is very knowledgeable. I'm not saying other optometrists are not knowledgeable, he just has a way of "teaching" and without assuming you understand everything. He speaks in layman's terms, and always makes you feel encouraged to ask questions. His staff is second-to-none, very thorough, polite and professional. Highly recommend!!

My favorite part was the eye scan. Pretty interesting to see the inside of your eye and Dr. Warthman was very informative regarding what exactly we were looking at and looking for (defects/abnormalities in the eye). Costs are pretty normal EXCEPT he offers a really decent selection of plastic frames for $49. This I have never experienced before and I thought was really cool. Of course, some look cheaper than others but some are also pretty sophisticated for only $49. He also has a vast designer selection and offers Safety and Sun glasses, too. Pretty sure I will be sticking with this place!

I will definitely shop here again when I'm ready for new frames (I just won't wait so long next time )

My family and I have gone to Indiana Eye Doctors for year. Dr.Fagin and Dr. Levack are our regular…read moredoctors and they both truly the best This time I had a different doctor and didn't enjoy my experience as much. I wear contacts and it is my understanding that a "contact lens exam" costs significantly more than a normal eye exam due to them testing the fit and tear production with wearing lenses. This time around the doctor I had didn't test any of that. I had started using eye drops per a previous recommendation and there were no questions about how I was found with those. My eyes were not examined with my contacts in my eyes. It was frustrating to be charged a contact lens exam fee when I feel like the usual contact lens exam was not conducted. Overall, if you are looking for an eye doctor, I highly recommend seeing Dr. Fagin or Dr. Levack. Those two are the best and always make patient care a priority.
