I really like my doctor! But the whole shop, I think only 2 people could smile: my doctor & another young guy who walked by me. My girl whole helped me, did not give much information... some misunderstanding when I get home & looked at the bills, like she told me: insurance was $3, never asked me to buy insurance for the 1st pairs of glasses... the most serious faces are the general manager & the middle age lady who checked the insurance. 10 years in USA, I could say, this is weird. I don't feel go to back at all. I'm not sure if because I'm Asian, I cannot speak English properly or what? I wish my doctor works at different location. read more

My Eye Doctor in Symmes Township is the only branch I will go to from now on. After having a horrible experience at a different location, the Symmes location got me in the same day and were so understanding. Jo at the front desk was knowledgeable, kind, and compassionate. Dr Zumberger at the Glenway locations was great with my son when he was seen on 7/30/2025, we were given his prescription for glasses and were scheduled for his Contact Lense class on 8/13. On 8/12 we were called and told that something came up on the schedule and they needed to cancel his appointment for the next morning, but that they would call once there was availability to reschedule him. I have worked in healthcare for 21+ years and to say we're canceling an appointment - that I already paid for and that the contacts were already ordered for with no indication of when it will be rescheduled is insane. I called and spoke to the Manager, Ruthie, who advised that someone quit and they were waiting to see if someone from another office could fill in. I was accepting of that, but told her if she couldn't get him rescheduled by the end of the day, that I was going to need a refund and to go somewhere else. 5pm rolled around, and never heard from them, so I called back and they said no one picked it up to fill in for them, so she could refund the money or I could go to another one of their offices. I had her refund my money and scheduled somewhere else, only to receive a call today that the other eye doc couldn't see him, because they hadn't released his information, so had to contact them again and am still sitting on hold. In the meantime, I also called the Crestview Hills location from my husbands phone, who said that they couldn't help, because all of it has to be done at the same location. So now I am trying to jump through hoops to not only get my sons information released so he can go to someone else. This is idiotic. I understand staffing issues, but the run around with this company is a disaster and I'm not sure how they manage to stay in business. read more

The doc was really good, after that it was downhill. This is the 3rd time that I have used their services - I have never purchased eyeglasses or contacts from them. So they had the store manager sit down with me to "hard" sell me on price matching contacts from lens.com. That is when the double talk started and I felt like I was at a used car dealership. The manager quickly went through their price match - which was all double talk. Be careful of people trying to force you into purchasing something - they are looking to make a sale, but when its at a LARGER profit than normal, this is not the way to run a business. I have been going to the Wing Eyecare chain for over 15 years. When I moved to Loveland from N. Kentucky, I was relieved to find a local wing location and I was not disappointed. The staff are kind and professional and I love Ms. Jo! Jo makes makes sure that I take care of my eyes and whenever I put in or take out my contacts, I can hear you voice telling me to wash my hands first! They reward kindness, loyalty, and are eager to answer questions and teach their patrons about the best in eyecare. We have been patients at Wing Eyecare in Symmes Township for several years. We visited in mid-December 2019 for general eye health and contact exams. Instead of giving us the contact prescriptions, they supplied us with eyeglass prescriptions. When I found this in the packet, I called, they said that this is their standard procedure. Why?? We didn't go there for eyeglasses. I called last week to get my contact prescription faxed. It has been three business days now and I do not have my prescription. Also, I attempted to call the office all day yesterday and it just rang and rang. When someone picked up later in the day, the call disconnected after being on hold for 5 minutes. I am very, very frustrated and do NOT recommend Wing, based on their customer service and follow up. read more

After several weeks of rapid decline in my left eye, several trips to Cincinnati Eye Institute and another optometrist, Dr. Herron was able to put my mind at ease and come up with an improvement to my blurry vision. Victoria was very nice and helpful. I will say that I was a bit taken back when I was "FITTED" for contacts. I have been wearing contacts for 20 years. They literally gave me 5 trial contacts (I'm blind in one eye so it wasn't even 5 pairs) of the same type/prescription, to try for 5 days and charged me $70.00 without telling me that the "FITTING" would cost me. Dr. Herron is one of the best eye doctors I have ever used and I have some very difficult eye problems. Also, his entire staff is very knowledgeable and will spend as much time with you as needed and will gladly answer any questions you have. Greg Elder, one of the opticians there, spent three hours helping me and was glad to do it. He even told me of extras that I did not need and eliminated them so as to lower my bill. I go here because of the convenient hours. The doctors are nice. The front desk staff is fairly absentminded (not paying attention, no eye contact, not even looking up from their computer), but I don't like how pushy and condescending the people who sell you the contacts and glasses are. They just upsell, upsell, upsell and explain it so quickly that I don't really understand what I'm buying. Luckily, I got Lasik so I'll only have to talk to the doctors from now on. :) read more

I've been going to this office & Dr. Herron once a year faithfully for almost 10 years. I've always been able to make my appointment when it's convenient for me. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The assistant immediately performs the necessary tests. Dr. Herron explains the results & does additional tests to determine prescriptions of lenses. Next is my favorite step. Selecting new frames. It's almost impossible for me to know what style looks good on me. Because of that I've never had to worry thanks to "my personal expert" Jo! She has selected my frames for almost the whole time I've gone to that office. I don't know what I'd do without her. On my last visit she greeted me & by the time my exam was complete she had my new perfect frames picked out! She had me look at other styles, none compared to her choice! I'm looking forward to at least another 10 years of eye care from this location (Symes Township) read more
