Had a wonderful experience with Val at Beards Hill location today.I had originally had my eye exam and purchased new glasses from The Festival at Belair location and was not happy with my frames.After 3 return trips to fix the fit of my frames,I was frustrated and decided to try a different location. I walked in and was pleasantly accommodated by Val who pulled out all of the frames for my face shape and helped me pick the best fit.Trying on new frames is hard when you can't see yourself and she set everything up for me to have my new frames delivered to her location where I felt like someone listened to and sympathized with my issue.Thanks Val.Youre a gem. read more

Just a heads up, they will not tell you the full amount you will be charged even when you call ahead to ask. As well as they will bill you completely different codes then the ones you asked for before coming in to double check with your insurance if everything is covered when you submit for reimbursement since they don't work with all insurances like they advertise. Something told me I should have cancelled before going in and I wish I would have listened. read more

I will NEVER go to another My Eye Doctor ever again. I usually wear contacts but needed a new back up pair of glasses. During my exam, I explained to the dr my vision was blurry and I had double vision. He said, ma'am just 1 or 2. The trial contacts they gave me caused an infection because I was allergic to them. After I couldn't wear my contacts I started to wear the glasses but couldn't see out of them. i called and was told there's nothing they can do because it's been longer than 90 days. Again, I usually do not wear glasses so. They didn't even try to help me. I spent close to $500 for glasses and a contact lens exam. WHAT A JOKE. GO SOMEWHERE THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR EYES. read more

I am so disappointed with the glasses I purchased, such a waste of money, the glasses were done twice and I still can't wear them, 2 of the ladies were really nice, but there is one that should not be working with the public, horrible attitude. Ok so customer service is horrible. Doctors are great but customer service stinks. HOURS ARE WRONG!!!!!!!!! I never received a call to tell that my glasses were in and had to call to see if they were in. Then I went to go get them on a Tuesday. (That's the only day I'm in Aberdeen) Website said open till 7:00. (19:00) I arrived at 6 and pulled on the door. LOCKED!!?! I called and got somebody who sounded like they just woke up and told me that on MONDAYS they were closed at 5. What the heck!!?! It's Tuesday! "Oh we close at 5:00 on Tuesdays too." I said "Oh well the website says your open till 7:00 on Tuesday." "No, your wrong, it's only open till 5:00." Then I got no more talking, just a quick "bye" and then got hung up on. In short the doctor is good but costumer service stinks. Very disappointed. read more

I've been going to this location for years, ever since it was Vision Associates. I've never had any issues, but always a little apprehensive in general going to the eye dr's. I dont have good vision at all and it dont do well with things close to my eyes, so needless to say, very high anxiety. This is my first time going under the MyEyeDr care, and I have to say from the start of walking in, till the end, I was taken very good care of. The girl who helped prep me was wonderful. She explained everything start-to-finish about what to expect and what would happen. Dr. Vance was amazing. Very much helped to put me at ease. Was in and out in no time. As I got to the part where I could pick out my new frames, I came in with a pair of regular sunglasses that I was hoping could be made into Rx sunglasses, all while keeping the color of the pretty lenses. The girls spent extra time getting on the company's website and making sure they could and they did! I am so excited for them to be ready! Definitely would recommend this office. Start to finish, a great experience. read more
