You never know where you may end up as a passenger & all for a good cause. What a great way to purchase almost anything from glassware, china, furniture, artwork, lumber/building materials, electronics, appliances way cheaper than the retail price. Each Habitat "reuse" ReStores are independently owned & operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations. For donations, call the stores directly as the donations hours can differ, yet accepts new & gently used appliances, furniture, building materials, household goods & outside these categories from individuals & companies. From their website: Habitat ReStores divert hundreds of tons from landfills each year, accepting hard-to-dispose-of items including new & used furniture, appliances & surplus building materials. In many cases, pickup service is provided for large items. Email our donated products team for more information. You also can learn more on Habitat for Humanity's gifts-in-kind donations page. Sales proceeds benefits Habitat ReStores in helping families build a decent & affordable place to call home in the communities & around the world building strength, stability, self-reliance & shelter in local communities. A wonderful win win for everyone...good deals for the customers, communities & the environment.

Yes, this store has a great mission and majority of the staff are very welcoming. When you first walk in you are hit with a wide array of different things and they are mainly sorted per section of your home. Which to me is a great way to keep things together. Once you look at these great items and then see the prices...the prices can make you jump a bit. Yes they may have some name brand items at times but several of them have issues such as a bed not being a king and too big for a queen or it was cut too short so the normal braces and such won't fit properly so make sure you ask question or a demonstration of the item put together before taking it home. They have a section with cups and plates and such that is fairly cheap. I have came across some baby items as well but again it's pretty pricey. They just had a beautiful baby crib but it was $400 and some odd dollars and yes for someone that has that type of money would love that but several people that are coming to the store are looking for bargains. It all boils down to this store is a great store with a wonderful mission but some of the furniture prices are a bit steep.

I usually have no problems with the employees of the Aberdeen location. Today was different, I asked where a $10 price came from and the woman at the register says "well all the stickers are there, I can give you back your money if you want too" I simply asked a questions bc nothing is marked at the price she rang me up. In fact one piece didn't have a price. The total for everything that was marked is $12, I expected to pay something for the item not marked but not an extra $8. I actually donate my furniture here bc it's the only location in town that seems somewhat grateful receiving donations. I'm asking that we all do better with communication, and respect there's no need to react aggressively when questions are asked. Especially when someone is calmly asking what their charged for.

I've cleaned the machine and ran a sanitize cycle multiple times to no avail. After experiencing some respiratory symptoms about a month ago, I decided to switch to washing our dishes by hand while we waited for our landlord to provide a resolution. His suggestion after almost month was to sanitize the dishwasher, but we recognized that this would only maintain the machine and not effectively eliminate the buildup. I turned to Yelp and found Jeremy. I texted him and he responded within less than 15 minutes. He asked for make and model information for the dishwasher. We were able to get an appointment scheduled for 3 days out with less than 30 minutes of interaction via text message. Our appointment was this morning and Jeremy texted me when he was 30 minutes out. He was communicative, prompt, and efficient. He was able to remove the dishwasher door and identify the area that was discharging this mysterious substance. He steam cleaned the area, tested the function of the dishwasher, and put the door back on. His rate was extremely fair and we will be certain to continue to call him for any appliance issues!

My wife and I paid the full price for a brand-new model, and while the delivery fee was waived as a sign of good faith, the freezer we received had clearly been diverted from another store. It turned out to be a display model, not new, and it arrived scuffed and slightly damaged. It's one thing to make a mistake; it's another to repeat it. This entire process has wasted both my time and my wife's. She even had to go back to the store in person and act more forcefully than she should have needed to, just to get basic service. The store manager responded as one might expect a corporate tool, proving difficult to reason with. It's not difficult to see where the shift managers get it. It took several individuals before someone finally took ownership of the situation. Thankfully, one decent manager stepped up, had the staff retrieve the display unit, and replaced it with a new one in the original box; something that could have easily been done on day one. Instead of resolving the issue from the start, the management offered explanations and justifications, without taking a moment to see the situation from the customer's point of view. For a store with a 3.5-star rating, I would have hoped for more accountability and care. Sadly, this experience has convinced me that this will be our last purchase from Home Depot.
