Chicken roti with Mom curry sauce
Wai L.

I ordered the chicken roti for takeout. It took a long time (30 minutes) for them to prepare the food. The chicken roti was okay. Was not very tasty. I eaten better roti at Riz restaurants.

Delicious and huge lamb dosa. $16 with a drink. Good to share.

It's known for using the traditional dum pukht slow‑cooking method, which brings out deep, rich flavours in dishes like biryani and curries. The space is cozy yet refined, making it a comfortable spot for anything from a casual dinner to a special night out. The menu offers a wide range of options, including vegetarian choices and allergy‑friendly dishes, all made with fresh, high‑quality ingredients. We ordered "Broccoli Steak Mustard Glaze " for appetizer, "Dal Panchratni" and "Chicken Tikka Masala" for main and paired our meal with "Tropical Oasis" and "Sex on the Beach". We finished our meal with "Nest Rasmalai" for dessert. Our food was flavorful and beautifully served. The staff are friendly and attentive.

A couple of cocktails got our evening started, before ordering from a menu of dishes being featured for the evening. Here's what we had: * Broccoli Soup * Lasooni Tangdi (Chicken) * Lamb Nawabi * Dum Pukht Veg Biryani * Goan Curry Fish * Laal Maas (Goat Curry) * Garlic Naan * Shai Tukda (Dessert) The food was pretty good, with rich flavours, bright colours, and attractive presentation, especially the dessert, with foggy dry ice creating a nice aesthetic. I also had the chance to photograph other dishes. Everything looked great! Service was understandably slow for a packed house but live performers kept us entertained, with dancers and a musician circulating through the dining room. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening out with a friend. 4.5/5.0

DON'T BOTHER with this place, especially for delivery! Extremely terrible customer service - lots…read moreof other great Indian restaurants that actually deliver. This used to be my go-to place and I've had it delivered to my place downtown before. We placed an order over the phone and they confirmed that they would deliver to my address within 30 minutes. 30 minutes later: We called back and they told us that they tried to reach us to confirm the address again. We told them the address yet again and they said that they could NOT deliver downtown...I said that we've been waiting 30 minutes for this order, so they agreed to make the delivery for an additional $5 fee. 1 hour later: We waited for our food and we called the store for an update on our food and the delivery guy's number. They wouldn't give us his number and said that he was at Yonge and Dundas (about a 2 minute drive away). 1.5 hours later: We finally got the driver's number and he was still at Yonge and Eglinton...basically where the restaurant is located. 2 hours later: He was still 10 minutes away and at this point we didn't even know if it was coming or not. We just gave up because of this nightmare we had to deal with. TL;DR: Don't bother with this restaurant - the quality/taste is not worth the POOR SERVCE + headache the delivery situation causes.

I also really enjoyed the tikka, have been looking everywhere for good tikka. Coconut curry was spicy and they only gave us six shrimp, but I'd probably order this again with chicken or some other meat. Our order was ready to go and piping hot when we arrived (about 45 minutes) and customer service was very friendly. I'd love to come back again.

Stopped in for a nice lunch with my wife and really enjoyed it…read more We started with the sweet potato and zucchini pakora and haryali kebab. Both were very good. The combination of vegetables in the pakoras gave them a unique but delicious taste. The kebab were stuffed with paneer and also very good. For mains we order malai kofta and dal makhni with garlic naan. Our server told us the kofta was a little on the sweet side but suggested it could be made savoury if we preferred. We did that it was great. Best malai kofta I have had in some time. Dal was excellent also. For desert we shared the rasmalai tiramisu which was excellent. It was tiramisu where the lady fingers were soaked in the liquid from rasmalai and topped with a piece of rasmalai and pistachios. It was really delicious. I have also mention the service was excellent. Our server was attentive, offered excellent suggestions and checked on us regularly.

Overall, a solid 4-star experience at Goan Indian Farm Kitchen…read more The Chicken Tikka was hands down the star of the meal--10/10! The chicken was perfectly tender and juicy, with a beautiful char from the grill. The marinade was full of spices that were perfectly balanced, and the smoky flavor was absolutely delightful. My only suggestion would be to serve a bit more mint chutney alongside, as the coolness and freshness of the chutney paired beautifully with the spice of the chicken. The Spicy Beef Kebab was decent, but I have to give it a 7/10. While the texture was great, and the kebab was tender, it could've benefited from a stronger, more distinct flavor profile. The spices were a bit too overwhelming, and the beef lacked the depth I was hoping for. A bit more seasoning and complexity would've elevated it. The Palak Paneer was solid, but not perfect--8.5/10. The spinach sauce was creamy and flavorful, with just the right amount of spices, but I found that there wasn't enough paneer in the dish. It felt like there was a great base, but the lack of enough paneer left me wanting more of that rich, cheesy bite that makes this dish so satisfying. Still, the sauce itself was excellent. The Makhan Chicken with Mushrooms was good but somewhat underwhelming--7/10. The chicken itself was cooked well, but the flavor of the sauce didn't quite have the depth or richness I expected. The mushrooms added some nice earthiness, but overall, I was hoping for a more complex, flavorful dish. It was fine, but it didn't stand out compared to the other items. As for dessert, the Bebinca was warm and moist, but it lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for--6.5/10. The texture was perfect--soft and almost cake-like--but the sweetness and coconut flavor didn't quite pop the way it should. I feel like the Gulabjamun Rose Cheesecake might have been a better pick, as the Bebinca didn't quite hit the mark. But the true highlight of the meal was the Mango Lassi Cheesecake - 10/10. It was absolutely divine! It tasted exactly like a mango lassi, but in cheesecake form. The mango flavor was fresh and vibrant, while the creamy texture was smooth and indulgent. Every bite was a perfect balance of sweetness and tang, and we wouldn't change a thing about it. It was the ultimate dessert to end the meal. While the food was mostly excellent (especially the Chicken Tikka and Mango Lassi Cheesecake), the service was a bit of a letdown. The greeter rolled their eyes when we asked for a table away from the entrance, despite there being plenty of empty tables at lunchtime. That initial encounter made us feel a little unwelcome, though the staff did check on us afterward, and we still left a tip. The interior decor was beautiful, though--definitely added to the overall experience. Overall, despite the service hiccup, the food (particularly the Chicken Tikka and Mango Lassi Cheesecake) was fantastic, and we would definitely return for the food!
