The prices are hard to beat. The workers are friendly. I come in every now and then for threading. Earlier this summer, I decided to try a lash lift. The process took about an hour, and afterwards, I did not wash my eyes until 24 hours from the process, to allow the perm to set in. Once I washed my lashes, I was amazed at how curled my lashes were. When I applied mascara, I only needed one coat, and my lashes looked beautiful and doll-like. The only issue was that my bottom lashes were never separated during the lift process, and thus, curled up as well. They constantly tangled with my top lashes in the inner corners, and when I applied mascara to the bottom lashes, they looked awful. The lash lift lasted a full two months. I then returned for another lash lift; this time, telling the woman to separate my bottom lashes so that they wouldn't curl as well. This time, the solution was incredibly pungent, which made the process difficult to sit through. The yucky scent lingered even after I washed my eyes, for nearly a week. This time, I was very disappointed that my lashes did not lift and curl. Bummer! read more

Worst brow lamination. She processed my brows twice and left them extremely coarse. The ends of my brows were even curling up and it was my FIRST brow lamination. This is definitely not their speciality. If you want a cheap brow lamination come here but I will def be investing more. They also don't give you any sort of aftercare. For a bit more of an intense service, CHEMICALS on your brows they really need to be careful. read more

My first time going here will also be my last. My initial impression was good...it was clean, and the lady at the front desk was friendly. There was a relatively short wait time (15 minutes). There were two women doing threading/treatments. One of the employees clearly had a cold. I had requested first available, and I drew the short straw and got her. I don't know her name, but she was the taller one, and had long hair in a braid. She kept sniffing and clearing her throat. It was gross. I kept waiting for snot to drop on my forehead. The threading took FOREVER. She kept adjusting and redoing things. In my experience, this is a red flag. Sure enough, she handed me the mirror, and my skin was all red from being overworked. Even worse, one eyebrow looked good, and the other one looked terrible! It looks like there is a GAP in it. She obviously removed too much hair/cut it too short with the scissors. Now I get to look like a gang banger with a shaved eyebrow until it grows out. Thanks, lady! The rose water was a nice touch, and pricing was standard, but why risk a wonky eyebrow, when you can go elsewhere that does consistently good work? Come here if you want a sick person snuffling over your face, and busted eyebrows! read more

Living up to its name! The moment I arrived, I was greeted by (I believe Sara) who was friendly and checked me in promptly for my appointment. I was a little nervous as I this was my first lamination experience and my natural brows are pitiful. They are sparse, grow in in strange places that I don't need them to grow in, and are lighter than my natural hair color, so I'm not working with much and fill them in myself daily. My appointment was with Ayisha for a brow lamination + enhancement which is tinting. The entire process took about an hour and let me tell you it was the best hour and money I have ever spent. My brows turned out better than I could have expected, like I cannot believe that the miracle Ayisha pulled off with my natural brows. This is not an exaggeration. I have a 2.5 year old & a four month old, so my time is my most precious commodity, not having to worry about filling them in everyday for all the Zoom meetings I'm on is amazing. This place has the nerve to be called "Perfect Brows". When I came here on the 10th of November my eyebrows were less than perfect. They were a hot mess and on top of that I had a dinner date to go to. So make-up was needed to fix their humongous mistake. I went to the woman who sat on the left side of the salon in the far corner. This woman was heavy set and has a burgundy purse with her. This is the woman you need to stay away from. I saw her other clients and they left happy. I don't know what happened when it came to me but for 9.00 damn dollars my eyebrows should not have been uneven. My left eyebrow was bigger than my right. I didn't notice this until I got home. The next day I called them, to see if they could fix the crap she did. I came to the shop and explained to them what happened and they were happy to help- at first. It took two people to come up with a plan on how to fix what she destroryed. I had two months worth of hair growth on my eyebrows so it was plenty of hair for her to work with. The women who stepped up to the plate to do my eyebrows were lazy and didn't want to do what was needed. They just wanted to do a quick fix and go. While in the process of getting my brows fixed, they had the nerve to touch my hair! I had to let them know that there is no reason for my hair to be touched AT ALL. They finally got it looking decent but my eyebrows are still not as they should be. Stay far away from this hell hole. It will save you time and money by not even walking into this place. What happened to me should never happen to anyone. Now I have to let my eyebrows grow back because these idiots don't know what they are doing. Not everyone was meant to thread eyebrows. I came here for years but unfortunately my last experience at my perfect brows will be my last. Giving 4 stars because again, I went for years and was very happy with my brows. However my last appt was awful. I felt like I was bothering the woman threading my brows. She was on and off of the phone, gave me little to no attention but was overly friendly to other guests and made me feel like I had done something wrong. She threaded my eye brows wayyyy thinner than requested and left my tint on for way less time than usual. So it didn't work and was a waste of money. She also got the tint all over my cheeks. When I sat up and saw it, she aggressively rubbed it off with a baby wipe and acted like it was not a big deal even though it left brown spots on my cheeks for a few days. The thin brows took weeks to grow back and if you're as particular about your brows as I am, then you know how devastating it can be when they're done wrong. Especially over the holiday season. Again, not trying to hate too much but this last trip was just too bad for me to care to go back. read more

It all started at the Orange location (also top knotch), and then I moved up to DTLB. The worst thing about this location is parking. Sometimes it's easy, other times I'm circling for a few minutes. It's really not terrible. The best things about getting my brows done here: ambiance, affordable, clean, the ladies are quick, and most everyone is pleasant. Their waxing room is cozy. It's nice to be able to walk around this part of LB and check a few errands off my list. read more

I feel like I've written multiple reviews because I've been coming here awhile, BUT I must update because Arti really out did herself this time. I got a lash lyft + tint & they look soooo good!! This is them a few days later with not a touch of mascara. I also have super sensitive eyes so they watered the whole time, but Arti & honestly the entire team that was there was sooo helpful, reassuring, and super nice even though I felt like such an inconvenience. Lash Lift (60 mins) with Practitioner I should have trusted my instinct to leave immediately. The stations were dirty and covered in grime. The person doing my lashes didn't even wash her hands before and because it's a big open space she went from threading another girls brows, touching her face, holding the thread in her mouth straight to working on me. It was my first time getting a lash lift so I told her that when she was asking me if I also wanted a tint but she obviously wasn't listening. When she was applying the chemicals she wasn't working delicately like you would hope someone would while touching your eyes. She pulled up my bottom lashes with it and then used her fingers to pull apart my eyelids causing all the chemicals to rush in. It immediately burned and my eyes started watering and I asked to sit up so it wasn't rushing back into my eyes. All of the workers there seemed to start to panic and asked me if I was handling the situation. Like what? I'm in a vulnerable state with my eyes glued shut, chemicals rushing in burning me and I'm supposed to handle the situation? how? Then they asked me if it was my first time even though I had already told her and then started calling me sensitive. Not the experience I wanted. I had to rush to the bathroom to wash my eyes out and they're still burning I want my money / credits back. They didn't even offer as I was leaving. I was there for a total of 5 minutes before this entire disaster. Who knows how my lashes are even going to look. I'm afraid they're burned off or ripped out from them having to rip off the barrier. Don't go here. They need to clean. Wash their hands and create a safe environment for their clients. I work in the personal services industry and I would never put any of my clients in that position. read more

I left here not 10 minutes ago. I've come here multiple times because my wife is a dedicated customer. It's always packed, but it's pretty linear when getting attended to. This time today and my last experience I was skipped for clients that sign in after me. I only need an eyebrow cleanup but my wait time tends to be longer than most individuals there. Went in to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time here today and wanted to say how impressed I was with the threading, but also their COVID-19 precautions! You fill out a questionnaire online, they take your temperature at the door (touchless thermometer!) and the seats were sprayed and wiped down between clients. I didn't catch the woman's name who did my threading but she was incredibly nice, thorough and had the lightest touch of any threader I've had in my ~decade of getting threaded.
