My testy son poured water over and soaked my LR4 key FOB. Wali, the mobile keyless entry locksmith, came to rescue with replacement FOBs (we opted to purchase 2) and programmed it on the spot for us for $300. A great price for 2 FOBs compared to the dealership. I took a peek inside the mobile shop van and literally a key shop on wheels. read more

My tenant got locked out of his bedroom (it was keyed). I called My Nextdoor Locksmith to see if they could swing by to unlock it. They said 45 minute wait before they're here -- not too bad. I then asked them how much; they said $150 to unlock. Ouch, pretty pricey. Then I looked up how much it cost to replace a bedroom door; it cost $80. I told them it'd be cheaper for me to kick down the door and replace the door. They said "Okay" and hung up. Not the best company to work with. Fortunately I was able to find an alternative locksmith who charged us $80 to unlock. Although it'd have probably been more fun to kick it down and replace it. read more

Horrible service. Called for service and was turned away even before anything because it was too early and they Didn't have anyone on...is can you be called a 24/7 locksmith then? Update- look at the review the business wrote. WOW! Can you say WOW? I will say nothing more. Use your best judgement read more

He came right away, was less expensive than most and had me a replacement key within seconds!

Very fast and professional service! I locked myself out of my home last night and Next Door Locksmith was at my home in less than 25 minutes. I hope this incident doesn't happen again but I know who to call if it does read more

Wali was very communicative and kept in contact with me. I appreciated the little reminders and check ins that he gave and he was willing to come to my house at 1030pm at night! Fair prices and was very helpful and nice. They were able to open my locked car and make me new keys so it was a win win for all of us! I would recommend Wali again for any future customers. read more

Walid is great! Saved me money and was one of the few that could program my Lexusbsmart key. I went to 2 different locksmiths before I found him on fb marketplace. Took him about 5 minutes to program, fantastic!!! read more

Instead of having to tow my car to the dealership to get a new set of keys, I was able to get them made and programmed by Wali. In under an hour, he arrived to my apartment and had the keys made. I am super glad I made the call. Great price and super friendly service! read more

I found these guys on Yelp and have use them a few times now. I own recovery residences in ATX and my residents are tough on the door hardware. Anytime I need an adjustment or part fixed on the door or locking mechanisms, these guys come through fast, and at a fair price. I highly recommend! read more

Fantastic customer service for a great price!! I called on a Saturday to have my house rekeyed and just a few hours later they came out and got everything fixed up in no time at all! So convenient and helpful, and gave me the code for my key so I can have another locksmith open the locks in the future, if necessary. read more

Terrible experience! I was locked out and the neighbor was very kind to call locksmith for me. I asked the person on the phone how much is the price. She said the technician will quote the price. After about 20 min, the technician arrived, I asked him how much. He stil didn't tell me. After he saw the lock, he said $265.00. I said, what??? I don't want to pay it. He said insurance will pay 3 times a year if you have lockout. Okay...I think insurance will pay for it. So I let him do it. After he finished the job, he handed $297.00 bill. I was shocked, I started suspect him is not honest with me. I never see such a crook in my life. He took advantage of the situation, charging me for a two minutes work. I am NOT happy at all. Will try to get the money back from them. One more thing, he didn't change the lock, nor tried to do anything hard at all. He spent less than two minutes and opened the door. Why did he charge me more than he charged others. It doesn't make any sense. The person is a thief and dishonest guy who should be sent to jail. read more

Bait and switch. They lure you in with low prices then try to get you to give them your auto insurance so they can charge it through the roof. Once I turned the guy away for these deceptive practices he got very unprofessional and tried to get me for made up cancellation fees. I had to threaten him with law enforcement for him to get off of my property. Call someone else. This is very deceptive practices by unprofessional people. The good reviews here are paid reviews for service discounts. read more

I just had a wonderful experience with My Next Door Locksmith. Fast and friendly service, he arrived in less than an hour. Very reasonable prices. I would highly recommend! read more

Answered on the first call. Quoted on the phone, came in 5 minutes, and was efficient, friendly, and cheap!! Great service!

RIPPED OFF! I called and asked for an estimate. They said it would be a $10 base fee + additional charges based on tools needed and time it takes. I was trying to avoid paying $70 to pop a lock... All I was doing was getting my car unlocked. No keys made. It took him about 7 minutes. Total cost? $129!!! Seriously???? He said he is embarrassed because he just started and everyone he has met with was shocked at how much it cost. The lady on the phone was a LIAR! The advertisement was a LIE! read more

Walli came out and serviced my vehicle for a new transponder key, was done in 15 minutes, very quick, reasonably priced and even better! it worked and i was able to drive away after my car was stranded for days.! Thanks My Next Door Locksmith! easy fast reliable, and great value service! read more

This gentleman saved my life. Super easy to work with. Text messages. Took care of me while I was out doing errands. Delivered super quick.

We had a new car Fob programed. Very fast, efficient service and price well below dealership charges. Wali came to my house and completed the job with a smile. Thank you Sir. read more

24/7 mobile locksmith was the best thing that ever happened to me. One minute I was locked out of my tour bus and the next minute Wally was there helping us out. It only took 15 minutes from him to find us and diagnose the problem. With wit and some elbow grease we were back in the bus in no time THANK YOU WALLY, THANK YOU 24/7 LOCKSMITH!!!! If you're ever locked out give Wally a call he is the man!!!!!! read more

My daughter was stranded at the Buccee's in Luling on a Sunday with a broken FOB key and unable to start her car. Wali was the ONLY locksmith willing to come to her rescue even though he was an hour and a half away, in North Austin. We waited patiently and he updated us on his time of arrival several times. Once he got there, he programmed 2 keys for her to get on her way AND Jumped her DEAD BATTERY. Wali, you are an angel, that saved the day for her last night! We sincerely appreciate you! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!! Thank you! Thank You! read more

I'm usually not much for review sites and social media, but I created a Yelp Account just to express my dissatisfaction with 24/7 Mobile Locksmith. Last week on July 13, I was locked out while my wife was out of state, so I had no way of getting in. After contacting this business, the lady on the lady on the phone told me that rates were $10 to show up, and $29 starting. I expected that worst case scenario, the final price could not be more than $100...after he showed up, he quoted me $225 to open my lock, and a $40 show-fee if I decline. I declined to pay him and told him to leave. He refused, so we had a standoff for 15 minutes. What was he going to do? Fight me? This is an obvious bait and switch scam. I called Austin Key Guy later on, who completed the job for a much more reasonable price. Don't fall for this scam fellas! read more

**Spoiler Alert** Wali was fast, professional and courteous. Charged me $55 with cc and had unlocked car and left within 20 minutes. My one beef is that the "$50 for $35 coupon" online would not apply as he had already given me his best price, so be wary when getting a quote. Other than that, a fair price and great service. read more

Our automated door lock malfunctioned after 5pm on a Sunday. Wali came to our house 20 minutes from our phone call just as quoted. We were back inside quickly. Our lock continued to be troublesome, but Wali did a thorough job making sure our door lock was working properly. read more

Wali was very friendly and accommodating! Found my position quickly and unlocked the door in a jiffy. Hopefully I don't lock my keys in my truck again, but if I do I'll definitely be calling these guys back. 5/5 would recommend! read more

I've had to move several times over the past couple of years because of a stalker who picks my door locks and steals small items, but when Wali replaced my door lock a few apartments ago, my stalker wound up actually damaging the lock because he couldn't pick it and get in, and Wali then replaced the damaged lock for me for free. So it kept my stalker out, which is what I wanted. He has picked several other brands of locks, but this one stopped him. I wound up moving because I couldn't get the police to deal with my stalker, and he had rented an apartment in the building next to mine. I just now had Wali replace the lock at my new apartment, and Wali was kind and courteous as usual. Today (Memorial Day) he had his wife with him, and they are both very nice people, who made me feel like I had made the right decision by going with them instead of one of the bigger companies. I highly recommend this company, and I would definitely use their services again! read more

They were great! Showed up within 30 minutes as promised. Super fast and knowledgeable plus they gave me the option of making an extra copy of my keys. I don't lock myself often but they are now my go-to locksmith and I'll recommend them to everyone! read more

These guys are a joke and they will do what they can to run a scam on you and make a few extra bucks. I called them to help me unlock a padlock because my key had broke and he told me he would have someone in about 15 minutes. After about 25 minutes, I got a phone call from a guy saying that he's been trying to call me and couldn't get a hold of me. I thought, interesting, my phone is been in my hand the entire time. I understand that sometimes your phone doesn't ring when people try to call but he had the audacity to ask me if I was calling him a liar when I said, "I'm sorry, my phone never rang". He went off on me like I just flipped him off to the face for no reason at all. When it came to pricing, they would not give me a clear definitive amount or range of any kind. They had a special on yelp saying $30 for $50 of service. That is super confusing because when you talk to them they will tell you that you can only apply $15 toward your bill but they would appreciate it if you didn't get the coupon through Yelp and just go to them directly. Finally, after arguing for 10 minutes about how much it was going to cost, $85? Are you effing serious? All I need you to do is cut a lock off of my gate. Needless to say, I canceled and went down to Home Depot and bought a lock cutter for $12.99. read more

Very expensive compared to other locksmiths and poor customer service (rude). Look elsewhere first. If you need someone urgently and no other locksmith is available, these guys might be an option. read more

This is the last business I wanted to call on a Friday evening after traveling all day, but they were fast, thorough and professional! Definitely recommend if you get locked out of the house! read more

Wali did a great job. The first locksmith I called for a a fried key fob said his truck was down that night and would meet me out where the car was at 10:30-11am. After leaving a couple messages and no one showing up by 11:15 I called Wali and even though it was a Saturday he was out there in 20 minutes and got a new key cut and programmed quickly. I should have called him first. read more

The lock to my back door jammed shut, and I called Wali to open it and install the replacement locks we had purchased. He arrived in 30 minutes, gave me an estimate and completed the job (front, back and side doors) in an hour, asking questions and explaining things when appropriate, and my doors and door jambs were left in good condition with no marks or scratches. Overall I'm happy with the experience, my only issue would be lack of response to emails as promised on their website. I'd recommend MNDL, just call if you want a quick response. read more

Keys got locked in the car. Called after seeing a $10 advertisement online. On the phone, they said that was just the service charge. I asked about rates, they started at $25. Mike got there and started by saying the cost was going to be much higher since it was a newer car with anti-theft. He said "I was lucky I wasn't in NYC, it would be $350 to unlock" Then, he tells me the cost will be $139, and no one else will come at 6pm Sunday. I mentioned PopaLock would be 1/3 the price. He was quick to bash them, saying they were not certified and if they broke my window getting in that I would be liable for that. He said he had schooling. Since my daughter was waiting on me, I had the service done. It took him less than 2 mins. He had me over a barrel, took advantage of the situation, and he knew it. Not going to use them again. read more

We ended up locked out one sad night so we called 24/7 Locksmiths LLC. The locksmith who visited us said he was at our apartment when he wasn't (we would know, we were sitting out on the stoop), quoted us $170 to destroy and open our "unpickable" lock--which doesn't even include the fee for installing a new lock. We rejected his services because of the exorbitant pricing, and this locksmith still demanded $20 for just stopping by. I would not recommend this service to anyone who is remotely budget conscious. read more

Got charged $200 for a 1 minute job. He asked me to take a picture of my card too! He took advantage of the situation, despite the $25 'minimum' and $10 charge quoted online. read more

I don't mind the fact that they take hours to show up. My qualms come from charging nearly $200 dollars when I was quoted $10. When they showed up they made every excuse imaginable to justify increasing the cost. When I said no thanks, they said they'd have to charge $40 for cancelling. I'll bust my window out have insurance cover it before I call these guys again. read more

Do not use this service! Charged $60 for labor for a broken mailbox lock - the guy was there for 10 minutes or less. The lock then broke about a year after it was installed and when I called about a guarantee on their work they said "90 days is the guarantee." read more

Like several others, I was quoted $35 over the telephone, $10 service charge and $25 to unlock the car, this was after I told the person the year, make, AND model of my car. GUy showed up and it was $150 because of "the year, make, and model. $35 is the "starting price". Submitting a BBB complaint on these guys. read more

$240 to change one front door lock... so expensive they deserve one star for that- nickle & diming for $75 trip charge plus $50 labor charge plus $85 for a lock charge plus keys... Ive changed locks for under $100 so if you want to be ripped off go with them otherwise just call someone else- my fault for not asking and assuming it would be around $100 like 99% of other locksmith company charges... they did however show up when I needed them to so hence the trip charge right lol... read more

Wally was quick to unlock the car and was quick to get to where I was! Definitely call them if you need to a locksmith.

It's times like these I wish I could give places hundreds of stars. Absent-mindedly locked ourselves out of the house. After releasing several expletives into the night air, we called this wonderful business. 15 minutes later he arrived, and 10 minutes after that we were back inside. Friendly, prompt, courteous, and professional service. What more can you ask for, especially when you feel like a total fool? Thanks 24/7! read more
