I hired My Movers to come and pack up all of our stuff and move us from Carmel to Noblesville. I had previously had two other moving companies come out to quote us, but when Henry showed up his a evaluation was much, much more thorough. He gave us a very fair quote and did not try to "sell us" on the reason we should use them. He briefly explained that this was a family owned business that started in Mishawaka and him and his brother continued it here in Indianapolis. We decided to move forward with them for our move. He explained that they would come out and pack us up whenever we needed them to and then move us whenever was convenient. We ended up having them pack us up on the day before closing and then moving us the day after closing. Neil, James and Kevin showed up Thursday to pack us up and I must say that they were over-the-top friendly, courteous and very professional. These guys busted their butts to get everything packed up in a timely fashion and made sure to take extremely good care of our stuff. The exact same crew showed back up on Saturday to load up the truck and move us into our new home. I can't begin to rave enough about this company and the people they hire. We felt completely safe and trusted all of these guys with our belongings and in our home. What is even more impressive is that Henry, the owner, showed up at our house and even helped out before heading to an estimate. There is no gimmick with this company, they are straight to the point and get the job done for a very fair price. Henry, give Neil, James and Kevin a raise, do whatever you can to make sure these guys stick around. What a great crew. read more

Extremely rude when I asked for a quote! I understand there was no availability for the timeframe I needed but when I asked how much it would cost when he does have availability, the jerk told me it would take 20 mins to get a quote and he didn't have time because he had a lot of things to do! I thought they did great!!! We moved from a 4700 square foot house to a 2500 square foot house. We had extremely large and heavy furniture. They did a masterful job negotiating steps in both homes that were difficult configurations. They showed up on time, brought an extra person, and only took a quick lunch break on the way to new house. They worked extremely hard and delivered excellent quality. They also had a great sense of humor and were a joy to be around on a day that could have been quite stressful. I was very impressed with My Movers. They moved our family of 5 out in 1 day using 5 team members. These guys worked tirelessly, put up with a few (hey can we change where this sits) adjustments, remained positive, and had a very professional bearing. These guys showed up on time, communicated their arrival beforehand, and worked for 13 hours. They worked well as a team and genuinely cared about our belongings. This is just one example, but they were very careful to painstakingly set up our California king master bed (which is not easy) so that it was stable and in the exact spot my wife wanted it. They disassembled various items to get them in the new house and then carefully reassembled them. I also felt the value was good. If you are moving, you should definitely consider My Movers. read more

I have used them before, it took about 4 hours for 3 guys to move everything from a third floor apartment in Carmel to a two story condo in Fishers for $575. This time, I had the same stuff plus a sectional couch to move the same distance. It took 6 hours and was $883 at first! They did take $50 off because their truck had a lift gate (Never used on my move) and it bottomed out on my driveway so we had to haul everything from the street! I say "We" because I helped!!!! I know I could have gotten the truck up there!!! I caught them in a lie as I stated we could have used my neighbors driveway to get up to the house. I suggested that when I arrived as they were there before I was. They did attempt it briefly (Backwards) and didn't put a lot of effort into it. When I challenged them at the end when I got the bill they said they tried it BEFORE I arrived!!! How did they try it before I arrived when I had to suggest it when I arrived? Total BS! My electric fireplace was broken, and one guy was sick and blew up my bathroom! I was thinking there would be a little flexibility as my girlfriend is moving in very soon from Kokomo They would have made up the money in drive time alone on that move. No wiggle room or thinking outside the box. In addition, I used them to move my company two years ago at the tune of $4,000 dollars. I guess loyalty doesn't mean what it used too! read more

I hired this company to move us one bldg. Down aprox. 2 min. Down the same street at our same apt complex. They were 45 min late with a 3 man crew to move 2 bed apt on the second floor to the same on the first floor. It cost 935 dollars which we feel was a ripoff in that they left things behind and we had to call them back to move an exercise bike which we don't see how they could have missed. They also left 2 bed frames and 2 exercise free weight sets, all of which we two women had to move by ourselves. They are not worth any amount of money. We will give one star because we have to not because they deserve it. read more

I recently hired My Movers to move my family out of a three story townhome (a lot of heavy furniture and a lot of stairs). The Owners communicated very well leading up to the move. I was pleased that their final cost came in nearly exact to their estimate (time and material quote/invoice). I was impressed at how hard the crew worked, taking little to no breaks, especially given the amount of stairs involved with the move. I was also impressed by the professionalism of the movers. This is the third time I've used My Movers since 2017, so it feels like the right time to write a review. These guys are great. Each time, I've been able to get a quick quote either via email or by phone. Although my most recent move took a few weeks to schedule, it's understandable given the time of year (September is always a busy time for moving). The owner is always incredibly communicative: calling and emailing to confirm the appointment, calling the day before as a reminder, calling when the truck leaves their office on the way to the move. The My Movers crew -- in my case, two guys with one large truck -- has been fantastic. Punctual, friendly, and very hardworking: exactly what you want for movers! Each time I've worked with them, the movers got to work immediately, never seemed to stop for a break, and moved everything out of my two bedroom apartment into my new home within 5 hours. Their next job was super close to where my move finished, so they even waived the time to drive back to their headquarters. I just moved into a new home, and the two movers went out of their way to be extra careful on the new walls, floors, etc. They picked each piece up, even if they were only moving it a few inches, never sliding or dragging anything. Everything was packed into the truck with care, and nothing was damaged. I'm so appreciative of that attention to detail! Let's be honest: moving, in general, is the worst. Picked my movers based on reviews and they did not disappoint. Three men showed up to move the my second story - two bedroom apartment to my new house. It took them 5.5 hours which was longer than I expected but that's because they careful strapped and wrapped all of my belonging on the truck. My new house has dark hardwood floors and they were very thoughtful to not slide any of the furniture, even the ones with wheels! Overall, I'm happy with the service as all of my belongings were moved dent/scratch free. read more

We moved into a three-story townhouse and had some very heavy items. They still finished two hours earlier than they quoted. Did I mention it was raining? We were concerned about carpet but shouldn't have been because they laid down lots of mats before getting started. They were very efficient, friendly, careful, and even put our beds back together at the new house. We had friends moving at the same time who had horror stories about their movers. We had a stellar experience with My Movers. After initially booking our move with Bellhops, the company called me two days before our move saying they were double booked and couldn't move us till the next day. I immediately called My Movers, and Henry was able to get us set up for the original moving day. I was shocked to hear that they're prices were significantly lower than Bellhops, as well. I should have called My Movers from the get-go! The three movers showed up not just on time, but early, and were incredibly fast. They were truly gentlemen. This is the second time we used My Movers in the last 9 months. I am very pleased with their service and hard work. The 3 men crew went out of their way not only to move all our stuff but they put several totes on a high shelf. It was a really hot day and I didn't have the heart to ask them not to back onto our fairly new driveway. But when they arrived the head guy asked about the newness and on his own parked on the street hauling everything from the sidewalk. I really appreciated that. Took me a while to get to this review because moving just took a long time from the stuff that they didn't move. We had four guys move our place - 2 bedroom, 2-story apartment - into a 4-flour house 15-20 minutes down the road. One of the items was a piano. The layout of the apartment contained tight turns and curves that made it difficult, but they still managed to get everything moved into the right location within 3.5 hours. We had a lot of stuff as well! The only downside was that sadly their straps failed, causing the piano to fall. We are very grateful though that none of them injured and the piano still worked. My boyfriend and I moved on Friday with this company and were disappointed with this move. Typically it takes my family 4 hours to move me in and out of a location with a 30 minute drive to the new apartment and unpack me, but it took this moving company 6 hours. It was really disappointing that we were quoted cheaper rates with other companies but chose this one for the reputation. The guys were nice but we felt like they could have done the job at a faster rate especially because we took apart all of the furniture beforehand. If we didn't jump in to help with loading and unloading the truck, it would have been over a thousand dollars to move a 2 bedroom apartment. Overall, we feel like we got ripped off for the price we had to pay at the end of the deal and we will be choosing a different company whenever we decide to move again. read more

They communicated what their plan of action was, gave us an idea of what timeframe we were looking at and they never complained once. These guys were GREAT!! Super professional. They arrived right on time, ready to jump in asap-which is great as moving is a per-hour charge. There was a supervisor and two movers who made this the easiest move of my life. As soon as they arrived, the supervisor talked business with me and completed the paperwork, etc. while the two movers IMMEDIATELY began to carry things out to the truck. Even though these guys moved QUICK, they took every precaution and care with our belongings. The staff was friendly, professional, and polite- they could stop and talk to me when they needed to, but otherwise, there was no funny business (like I often experience when I have furniture delivered. ) This was THE BEST experience I could hope for and I think they earned every penny. They were reasonably priced, considering we had 3 people included in the hourly rate, vs the 2 people that most other companies offered, so I felt like the rates were very reasonable. read more

The movers were friendly and moved quickly, however many of my belongings were damaged/broken. Furniture (not very heavy) has scuff marks in the finish from clearly being drug instead of carried. I was careful to mark "FRAGILE" on all of the boxes with fragile items, yet they were careless with these boxes and several things were broken - some were even family keepsakes that cannot be replaced. I am giving two stars because they attempted to work quickly and were friendly, but I cannot recommend these movers overall. The price was far too high for the number of broken/damaged items I ended up with. read more

They arrived on time and they listen to how you want to do the loading and unloading of stuff. The quote given included the moving supplies needed for the move. They were friendly and funny and made the move less stressful. The only reason I'm giving them 4 stars is because two of my items were broken. My vase which is actually my mom's just fell out of one of the mover's hands when he lifted it. It was understandably an accident. He was quiet about it, picked up the broken pieces and never apologized. The other item is my IKEA TV stand which literally broke into pieces. I loved that one and saved money when I bought it. I think it was how it was placed in the truck. Only told us that it was broken because of the material, again, no apologies given. I don't know about their policy regarding stuff like that but I just shrugged it off just because they are nice and did pretty good with other aspects of moving. I would still recommend them but just remind them to take care of ALL items. read more
