These guys have the flooring contract for the local Costco. Everything from beginning to end went super smooth. The salesman came out with samples and we sat in my backyard going over stuff. No pressure. Didn't try to sell me the most expensive thing. The rug I liked, a gray berber, was less per square foot than I was expecting. Set everything up. Crew showed up on time, had me approve the rug to make sure iit was what i ordered, then got to work. Had it done in a few hours and it looked great! read more

After many months of looking, I found excellent installer, no BS just quality and they always ask me. How do you like my job every day would make any corrections if they had any no extra plumber license, which is BS as long as you have installers knows what he's doing. You don't need to go back to the company and ask this and that and fight with them when installer screws up like I did with floor America and then, two days later, another person will come out and talk to you they don't know how to run a business! I think they do! I wouldn't recommend anybody to go to that down the road you just gonna have trouble!!! read more

If I could give zero or negative stars, that would be my rating. I ordered my carpet using my Costco account August 2024. They installed half of it March 2025. The seams in all the rooms were SO UGLY ! They came out, saw it themselves and agreed. They said seams on the type carpet I chose always look bad. Why didn't the sales person, Wendy, tell me that when I was trying to decide ? They left half of the roll of new carpet in our garage making it difficult to get to our cars. So I selected a new type carpet. It is now October 2025. I have left numerous messages asking to be called back to schedule installation of the new carpet selection. Carl will not return my calls or emails . Lance will not return my calls . I have lost patience . It has been 8 months of calling and emailing with no response from them. I leave messages and they promise someone will call back but they don't. They blame their new phone system. They say I must have blocked their number. NONSENSE. It would be nice to save some money due to the Costco rebate, but it's not worth having all my rooms cleared out for installation and my house in chaos and straddling a roll of carpet in my garage every time we get in our cars for 8 months. The only person who keeps his word and calls when he says he will, is Michael, but he is not responsible for installation scheduling, so the best he can do is leave messages for Carl and Lance, who ignore my messages. It's not always about how things go right the first time but how a company responds when things go wrong. I used MFA via Costco and the initial install was, well, a pretty horrible experience. The color was very different from what it appeared in the sample and the installers were not respectful of being in someone else's home. I let Costco and MFA know how unhappy I was. MFA stepped up. They sent Carl out to help with a finding a new color. He was very patient and made sure I saw a larger swatch in the color I was interested in which helped. (note to carpet manufacturers - even your large swatches don't really show the true color when installed, especially if you have a twist to the fibers that gives a sheen. Please be more accurate in the swatches and what they show.). Carl called a few days later and they agreed to do a full reinstall with a new team handpicked by him. This one went so much better. This install team was so kind and conscientious. They took care in my home and did a few tricks to make the install look even better. I'm happy with my new carpet. read more

It took months to get my carpet installed. The first crew brought in carpet - they did my bedroom (laid it wrong) and then started on the living room and found it was defective so they took it all out. I was told that it would be awhile to get the carpet because it was on back order. I had to wait months. And all the while, my furniture was piled in the different rooms. I had a chair that I could sit in in my living room. Awfully inconvenient. They also took hunks out of my baseboards when they were pulling the old carpet out. Both the crews that came to lay carpet stole from me. Clothes, jewelry, perfume.......they took everything they could. It happened to be right before Christmas so they had a field day. I just went to put on a shirt today months later and found that it had been stolen too. Do yourself a favor and just go to Robert's Carpet first thing. I regret that I did not go to Robert's. it's going to be year in august that i have been talking with lance with my flooring america. i am waiting for warranty" dept to answer him back regaring some pieces that need to replace. august 2024 i contacted the company regarding some issues with the flooring that at the time, was 1 year old. sent in some pictures, and someone was sent out to fix the flooring. when the worker was about to the repairs, i bought out the extra flooring material. he looked at the planks i have "engineered hardwood" he said my box that i had extra were no good ( defective ). i have talked to alot of different people and still im waiting. if i dont call for an update, or email. no one will call me.. i used my saving to get these floors done... also went thru costco's. oh and each time i call, i have to tell my story all over again to remind them of the situation. my sales person told me this flooring was the best one to choose. if i choose any other one i would be calling back soon. i just my floors fix!!!!! fun thing is i dont even use the area's where new floors are at and they should have no issues. read more

They came back to the house and found the boards that were slipped and copletely fixed them. There are no gaps now. While this probably should have been checked before they left, it's all prepared now and there are no gaps. The floors look absolutely amazing and they didn't use cheap product. It's a good looking high quality flooring that I'm proud of. I thank Kelly for getting in touch with me about the gaps because the floor is perfect now. read more

We used this place to replace the carpet on our stairs and the upstairs bedrooms. It started off pretty well; the communication was great and we got good vibes. The day of the installation the techs were over an hour past the latest window we were told and we had NO communication. We contacted the sales rep and he gave us the run around, saying he had no control and basically it is what it is, then stopped responding to my husband. They finally showed up two hours later. Annoying, but whatever. Our carpet looks horrible! There are visible seams everywhere. We contacted the store and after multiple attempts, finally got in touch with someone to discuss resolution. We had someone come out to look and agreed that it needed to be addressed. We scheduled a tech to come out on 7/26 between 1 and 3pm. My husband took off work to be here. At 1:40 we got an email saying the techs are running late and can't make it, we asked when we could reschedule and still haven't heard back. Once the sale is done you're pretty much on your own which is completely unacceptable considering how much money you spend with them. read more

I experienced water damage from a leaking pipe and had to replace the flooring in that area of my house. The entire experience was seamless. From the initial inspection to the installation. Chip was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in a timely manor. The installation was pleasant as well. Jim was very knowledgeable and patient as my wife and I chose what floor would go on our new construction. We were quoted a time of a week but due to some unforeseen complications we were notified that the order could not be filled until 4 weeks later, I went to Jim with this and he did not take no for an answer as he called around in order to get in touch with someone that could fill the order we needed. My wife busted my chops for FIVE YEARS to get this floor and trash the hated carpets. It was worth it. I believe Flooring America has installed the most beautiful floor money can buy...all glued down, engineered AMERICAN wood. Obviously in the course of laying down 2000 sq ft there's going to be a bad board or two. Their quality control man, Eddie, has arranged replacement. Our salesman, Brock, was great. This is not about him. This is about the woman who was working as the receptionist and how she treated me like I was dog poo she'd stepped in. She was on the phone when we arrived, so we waited patiently until she was no longer talking to anyone on the phone. Like an adult does. We suffered damage from Harvey and need to replace our flooring. We had used MFA back in when we had pipes burst and destroy our carpeting, so we immediately thought of going back. We had Brock come out and told him what we were looking for, he figured he could help, but he didn't want to stick around very long. We went in to look at the flooring available and he was not there. So, since the woman at the desk was available, we asked her to show us what was available at a similar price point to our now discontinued glue down vinyl plank flooring. She was She immediately went to the most expensive vinyl flooring they had which was about six times as much as we spent on what we have. When I mentioned the price point again, she lost all interest in helping us. It quickly devolved into a situation where she decided she wasn't earning a commission and therefore was no longer interested in talking with us. The way she treated us was so offensive, my husband had to leave the store because he was angry. When I asked her to please just direct me to the area where the flooring I was looking for might be, then I could have a reference for when we came back and spoke to Brock. She literally told me that she didn't know anything about that cheap flooring. She asked, loudly with other customers in the showroom, if anyone knew where the "cheap vinyl" flooring was or how much it cost. One of her coworkers had to show her the three offerings they had, none of which were even what I was looking for. Mind you, the flooring wasn't cheap when we put it in and it isn't cheap now. We have it throughout the house, both downstairs and up, both through MFA. It took me two years to pay off all the flooring. Her cavalier and demeaning attitude had me crying as I left infuriated, determined to never darken their doorstep again, but my husband wanted the price point so we could meet with Brock. And a manager, if available. The manager NEVER contacted us, despite my request for one. Her response to me was... "Are you upset with the fact that your salesman wasn't here when you wanted him to be or because I was helping someone when you come in and demanded my attention?" My tears of frustration immediately dried up and I quickly told her I was upset with the way she treated me because the sale wasn't going to earn her any commission and that I waited until she was off the phone before I even spoke to here. I stood there quietly until she was finished and acknowledged my presence. LIKE AN ADULT. I also told her that she should be careful about the assumptions she makes about people. She does not know me or what I have been through to be forced to come in and look for flooring so soon after having the entire house done...just five years before. I asked for a manager, again, and was told there was not one available. Then she told me that Brock would be in at 10 am the next day. We returned to talk to Brock -- no manager was available again and the woman who so greatly offended me the previous day was wisely not on the floor -- and got the quotes we had asked for. We also got quotes for an upgraded version. The only apology we got was from Brock for not being there. This kind of behavior kills businesses. And we will never use MFA again. I would rather use a small, mom and pop shop that is locally owned and operated. They at least understand the value of relationships with their customers. We found an alternative source that had better flooring at more than a third less than MFA installed. It was the same price as what MFA's product price was, to be precise. The lesson is, treat customers as though your paycheck depends on their business. Because it does. read more

We purchased and had installed some flooring at the Texas Ave store I Webster. More than a year later I began receiving calls claiming that we did not pay the contractor. I disagree, however, I received a very aggressive call from them stating that if we don't pay they are going to fire the contractor and put the account into collection. I'm 60 years old and I have NEVER not payed my debts. The fact that these people would state that it would be my fault that the contractor would be fired speaks volumes about their integrity. With the long rebuilding process most of us are still enduring from Hurricane Harvey, My Flooring America, made our carpet buying and the installation process one of the most pleasant. When I first visited the Webster store a few months ago, Jennifer H was the salesperson who spent over an hour with me going over carpet options for our bedrooms. I could not make a decision at that time and decided to do more research and cost comparison. I returned a few weeks later and spoke to another salesperson who was just as patient and knowledgeable and helped me with answering my questions and offered to have Jennifer contact me because she was out that day. True to their promise, Jennifer contacted me and offered to bring samples of the carpet I was considering for an in home consultation. Jennifer is the best!! She is so patient and sweet. She spent so much time helping me make sure I picked the perfect color scroll carpet for our master bedroom. I would highly recommend My Flooring America to everyone. I price compared with several companies and found their prices to be the best and their salespeople are awesome! I never felt pressured to buy the most costly carpet- in fact, I was recommended a less costly option for our young daughter's bedrooms that was just as nice. They seem to genuinely make their customers best interest a priority and I truly appreciated this-ESPECIALLY during this long, stressful rebuilding process. Nice selection of flooring. However pretty disappointed in their warehouse customer service. I pulled up around 12:07 while the doors still open and workers present I was told to come back at 1pm. I've wasted over an hour and 12 minutes now waiting on my client's flooring. Why not alternate lunches and have a few workers available or at least be punctual? Edit: This experience grew from bad to absolutely terrible. First I did not see someone approach the warehouse until about 1:35pm. I was told the reason they took so long to open is because lunch didn't start until 12:30 which is absolute BS. In that case I would of been greeted appropriately and material loaded at 12:07. I could not understand the loader's mumbling and made me move my truck twice. Then in order to try to save time and energy he tried to load the pallet in the truck. The angle was off and I grew frustrated. The outcome was a load of flooring almost falling on my foot as I was telling the guy to get off the fork lift and help me try to push the flooring so it would at least stay in the truck bed. Two other frustrated customers came to the rescue and helped me load it by hand (which I offered to do my self at 12:07). One of them was nice enough to send me a picture of the incident. While they helped me load the flooring, the employee was no where to be found. He came later to pick up some trash and provide the receipt. No apology no nothing. AVOID THIS PLACE and go to floor decor instead. I let my client know what happen as the client was wondering what was taking me so long. I expect any damaged flooring pieces to be replaced and a discount provided. As someone that works in home remodeling customer service, this experience was absolutely ridiculous!! read more

We used My Flooring America when we had our floors ripped out after a water leakage issue in 2021. They were recommended by State Farm as a certified vendor to use. Chip was our point of contact, and did a great job helping us throughout the process. He helped find flooring that matched our home, but gave an updated appeal, and carpet that fit our lifestyle. He was never pushy and was always polite and helpful. We were happy with the price, quality and workmanship. When we moved homes, and needed to replace the flooring, we didn't even bother looking at other companies based on our positive experience previously, I reached out to Chip for our flooring needs again, and was not disappointed. The floors turned out gorgeous. The install was scheduled very quickly. The installers were very polite, and got the job done meticulously and quickly. Fantastic experience with salesman Chip Reeder at My Flooring America. Chip was able to come in and take measurements and walk us through the process. Then after our in home consultation, we had some additional questions and Chip met us again at the store and helped us choose the perfect flooring for our home. However, the installers took a few tries to get things better but still some minor issues. The installers are subcontracted by My Flooring America but since they were hired through My Flooring America I can't quite give a perfect review. Despite taking a few visits after the install, I would still highly recommend going to see Chip at the Webster store for all your flooring needs. read more

We had My Flooring install wood plank floors in our living room, dining room and hallway a couple of years ago. This past year we had them add more wood flooring to our bedroom and just last month carpeting to our stairwell. Each process went very smooth with no surprises and a staff and contractors that were courteous and polite!! We are going to do something with our upstairs flooring next year and we definitely will call My Flooring to get the job done quickly and at a great price!! I highly recommend them. This operation has good salespeople and a clean showroom. They fall apart however once a customer orders and pays. It is then that the "service" team takes over and the salespeople are extracted, by management's policies, from any involvement. You will be amazed at the high degree of inefficiency, misinformation and non or false communications. Installation quality is "about average" for retail carpet stores but getting from paying to being installed is a nightmare - and run by a group who doesn't care to service customers and ownership that doesn't want to be involved (even when specifically asked to jump in by their own salesperson) I would steer clear of this business, Carpet retailers are on every corner - you can do a lot better than My Flooring America. read more

I was introduced to My Flooring America through my insurance company after I had a water damage claim. They recommended My Flooring America as an approved contractor, insuring that they would guarantee the work that was performed. I was contacted by Chip while the insurance adjuster was still finishing up his paperwork. Chip helped me find some great replacement flooring at their store. When it came time for the installation, the contractors showed up when they were expected and all of the work was finished within the week as promised. I have dealt with a lot of contractors in my time, both in my career and with my home. My Flooring America is by far the exception to the rule. The salesman was very helpful, the store staff were efficient. The delivery and installation department was ve ry poor. I was arranging subfloor repairs and carpet installation and was told May 1st but was not completed until May. 7th. This delayed other repairs being made. I would have cancelled and gone somewhere else if i had known this. The installers were excellent. Dont expect it will be installed when they tell you!!! read more

We absolutely love and recommend My Flooring America in Webster Tx. We had dealt with them in 2001 when a plumbing flood took all the carpet and linoleum. I had forgotten their name but loved the tile and carpet work. After taking damage from a major roof leak during Hurricane Harvey, we were very unsatisfied with the two tries to get Lowes to lay the tile in our living room. We cancelled their order and I had my husband go check the name on the building and we contacted Brock Jackson at My Flooring America. What a fantastic experience! Brock came out with samples, showed us the ideas and measured the room. He had us sign the contract and we paid. Two weeks later (which is good since we're in the Harvey recovery zone), a tile layer named James showed up at 8:00 a.m. with the tile and went to work. I'm disabled and we had been told by Lowes that I would be sitting in the kitchen on the sofa for 3 days because they couldn't do anything with me in the room. James said "oh no, we work around you." and started prepping and laying the tile. 8 hours later (no knocking off early!) he had all but the area under my couch laid. The next day he moved the couch to the new tile, finished the laying, and they moved us around one more time as they got the grout finished. In a total of one and a half days, half the time Lowes had quoted. We can recommend Brock, James, and My Flooring America-Webster Tx for anyone who wants their flooring project done right and meticulously. We are so very happy with their work. read more
