We have heated our entire house for 14 winters with a Kozy Heat woodburning fireplace. The blowers allow us to do the whole house, without the blowers we'd get maybe half. When one of the two blowers went out about five years ago, my research pulled up My Fireplace Blower. They had a more powerful blower for less than a Kozy Heat replacement would have been. When the other blower went out last year, we turned to My Fireplace Blower again. This time, the wiring was different than on the others, but their customer service stayed with us until all was installed correctly and working properly. The company is in Wisconsin and we live in Ohio, so the work was done virtually by phone and internet, but they did what needed to be done to get it right. The blowers on our Phelan stove don't last as long as I would like, due to the stove design that allows dust and dog hair to find it's way to the rotor. So, I went on-line and found "My Fireplace Blower". Not sure which model to choose, I called them, and they recommended the correct blower for our Phelan (that is now out of business). The first blower only lasted 4 months, but MFB replaced it without any hassle, and the replacement lasted close to two years, before it finally succumbed to the "dog dust". This time I ordered two. The price of a blower from MFB is less than a visit from the local fireplace shop and about a quarter of the price they would charge for a new blower. Great service, great prices. Bought a new house with a majestic brand fireplace insert. Couldn't find anyone in town that would sell me a blower kit for it. I added a blower to our gas fireplace. The team at My Fireplace Blower helped to pick the correct one four our unit and also gave me tips on how to install it. The blower unit was easy to install and there self adhesive tape to attach to the back on the pan. The electronics were easy to install once I talked to their team. Let them know how you turn you unit on / off so they can help with the electrical parts. Mine has a wall switch to turn on the starter. You can adjust the fan speed on the module. Our fireplace had gas logs but no blower even though there was an electrical outlet for a plug. I ordered one of my fireplace blowers with the model number of the fireplace. After it arrived, with a bit of difficulty of my fireplace design, I finally got it installed and what a difference it made. We have a twenty foot ceiling in that room with a ceiling fan which in winter you turn the button up so the air blows the heat downward and what a difference the blower makes. The room is much warmer and the furnace comes on less. Just be sure your fireplace has an electrical outlet already installed or get an electrician to install one. read more

The fireplace heater I wanted and that they offered was priced lower than all their competitors. They even offered an upgrade to the blower for the unit that their competitors did not offer, which improved performance significantly. Even with that upgrade added in, they beat the competition pricing. I had questions before I ordered, and with a phone call they were very good about answering them. My order was quickly shipped and received. I had a minor issue with the unit, and they went to bat for me by contacting the manufacturer and getting it resolved in short order. I live in Seattle with a very poorly insulated apartment. My fireplace was not a solution for heat because...well...it's a fireplace and not a wood stove. After enduring 3 very cold and expensive winters trying to heat my apt, I decided to bite the bullet and buy the spitfire heater. Small but mighty! Worked so much better than I thought I would. I was glad I found a supplier for a blower unit for our fireplace. The price was great and very simple to install; just took a bit of planning on how to get the blower in under the firebox pan and around the gas and electrical wiring. We purchased a ranch house built in 1973. It has a Heatalator fireplace that the house was built aound ... old school. We replaced the original fans biult into the masonry with two of your fans. They are much quiter than the original and move more air through the ductwrk around the outside of the firebox but enclosed in the masonry and insullation. Thanks for you help finding this solution. I searched for a blower to add on my older VC Radiance gas stove; a kit that had not been in production for some time. I bought a new blower kit for my Pacific stove and the rheostat that varies the speed of the motor didn't change the speed. It blew on high only. I contacted My Fireplace Blower and they sent me a new one. The new one has worked up until recently and now it seems to be either high speed, or low speed; I got one season out of it. I'm sure it's out of warranty now, but I guess that's not My Fireplace's fault. read more
