After a flood mishap in our newly purchased home last year, we called both Service Master of Eugene…read moreand another local company to come and dry out our home. The other company wouldn't be able to get anyone out to help us until at least the next day. Service Master also had a tight schedule but was able to fit us in on the same day, which we greatly appreciated. Our insurance had given us the name for a local company to do the rebuild but when it came time for that, the company they assigned us wasn't responding to my calls or texts. And meanwhile, we were left with no kitchen and no interior walls or floors in and around our kitchen area. Service Master of Eugene once again said they would help. They got us on their schedule and maintained great communication throughout the process. The end result was beautiful! We worked with Jeremy and Aimee for the restoration and rebuild, and they were both excellent. They even responded to our emails on weekends! We liked their work so much that we had them come and do our bathroom. There were some hiccups when it came to the bathroom remodel due to some changes occurring in the company at the time, but overall our experience with this company was a good one. Their technicians were always professional and we felt safe with them in our home. And they do good work. We would hire them again.

May of 2018 we had a flood due in our utility room due to a water heater leak. WVR came in and…read moreseemed to know exactly what they were doing. They had the room in plastic, dryers, and brought in the people to do the work to put the room back together which included replacing dry wall, flooring, cabinets, etc. For weeks the work did not begin and and repeated attempts to contact them resulted in, 'Mike's not in, he'll call you back'. Calls were consistently unreturned. In one successful contact with Mike, who was the project manager, he told us that the flooring had not come in and that's why they hadn't started the job. We called the flooring company and they said that he had not ordered it. From the time that work did begin, it was a nightmare.Mike provided no plans to us or his workers, he mismeasured so that the work they began was not possible to complete (this was caught by a worker who, within a day was let go for some reason- he was a skilled worker) He and another man had to come over and restructure the plan. The workers did good work at first, but Mike was never available and so the work would get held up. When they installed the water heater they did not fill the tank before starting it up so it burned out the element. The work was not completed until Nove 5th, no plans or itemized list was ever provided. We had to get the itemized list of work from the insurance adjustor. The bill was paid by insurance and extra work contracted for the job was paid by us in full. Just last month, we discovered a leak again. Our water heater closet was swollen shut and the replaced drywall work inside the house adjacent to the closet was cracked (18", 7" long, 1/4" wide), in the seams. WVR claimed that the cracks were the result of "the house settling" and they claimed no responsibility for their workers' installation of the water heater. When we contacted our insurance company as when we could expect the work to begin (WVR would not return our calls), our insurance adjuster reported that Mike had told him, "Why should I do the work when they still haven't paid me?" This, of course, was a shock, and threatened our reputation and credibility with our insurance company. Mike had claimed WVR they had widened our doors and completed other work for which they were not paid. This is patently false- no such work was ever done. WVR front office confirms that all bills to us have been paid in full. Mike slandered us to our insurance company. I do not know what struggles WVR are having as a company or if this is just their business model, but we still have black mold in our house and are trying to get a resolution for the condition Willamette Valley Restoration has left our home. We can't get back the time, stress and frustration of having dealt with such an unprofessional, shoddy company over the past 10 months.

The first was when my…read morebusiness flooded (a toilet ran for 2 weeks while we were out of the office, destroying all of the flooring and flooding the basement with all my important documents.) I called WVR immediately and they were able to send out someone right away. They coordinated with my insurance so I didn't have to think about any of it. They had great people who redid our original soft wood fir floors and restored them to like new. And, most importantly, they had the right equipment to dry out my documents so they were still usable. Out of 30 boxes worth of papers, only 1 and a half were not back to "usable" condition. The second time I used them, I had a leaky pipe around my shower that I didn't know was leaking inside the wall until I noticed a huge wet area on the ceiling in our dining room below. Again, they came over immediately and got started. With the sensors they had, they were able to tell where the water started and stopped in the ceiling and only cut out what they needed to. For about a week, it looked like the movie ET in our house with plastic wrap everywhere to cordon off the parts where they were working! We were still able to use all the other areas and they did not interfere with our daily lives. When they restored the ceiling, they matched our heavy plaster "design" in the ceiling to the point that you cannot tell what is old and what is new. I've been impressed both times we've used them. Easy to work with, fast and efficient, and all the special equipment to get the job done.

The bathroom had the most awful, early 80's, peach colored shower enclosure, I could not live with - and the counter was much too short. The backyard had a large lawn and a small deck - it was crying out for a more useful space for entertaining. My street generates a lot of traffic noise and I needed something to help reduce it. I also wanted an attractive trash/recycling bin deck, close to the street, for convenience. I looked for reviews and Emerald Valley Home Repair popped up. I like licenses and BBB ratings - Ted has them. He was professional in his walk through and intelligent, creative and confident with his advice and ideas - that he quickly put me to ease with his clear rapport I chose Ted Colee. My new larger kitchen space includes my necessary dishwasher and a couple new cabinets and sparkles with quartz counter tops throughout. He also replaced the lighting. The bathroom shower panels were removed and replaced with new bright white tiles. The deck steps down to a circular stone patio that allows for more entertaining and several large potted plants. I worked with Ted on ideas for the front driveway and we came up with a spectacular walled in - shingled and planter deck. It looks fantastic and provides more privacy in my front yard and most importantly, has reduced the road noise. The shingled trash/recycling/green-waste bin deck has a drop down ramp gate: So convenient! This was a series of jobs that effectively have turned this house into my home. Knowledge, skill, dependability, trust and respect are all vital in building that working relationship and creativity and flexibility complete the package. Bonuses are his abundant experience - Ted even knows plants. I have worked with Ted since and highly recommend him!!

They did a roof job for me and now I am hiring them to do my floors in my house. Super nice guys, long time Oregonians, they are locals, so they know all the best places for construction supplies.
